At first, everything looked fine, but after the concrete had only about a week to settle and dry, the top layer already started peeling off. That should never happen with proper sidewalk work. When we raised the issue with Eden, the excuse we got was that salt used to melt snow must have caused the damage. I made it very clear that I did not apply salt, yet the concrete still began failing almost immediately. Even so, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and chose not to make a bigger issue out of it at the time. Now, one year later, the sidewalk is peeling horribly and looks awful. There is no reasonable excuse for concrete work to deteriorate this badly in such a short time. In my view, this reflects extremely poor workmanship and very questionable material quality. What makes the situation even worse is the company's complete lack of accountability. When we contacted them again to address the problem, we were met with either silence or outright denial. Once they have your money, they apparently want nothing to do with the consequences of their work. Based on my experience, I would strongly warn others to stay away from this company. The work did not hold up, the excuses were weak, and the customer service was unacceptable. There are far more honest, reliable, and professional companies in the Bronx and NYC. I would never use them again.

They carefully had to reset all the paver bluestone slabs and then reset the steps leading up to the entrance gate. After setting everything in place they used this special grouting material that hardened like concrete and almost matches the bluestone. The job came out so beautiful that we now have to do the other much larger entranceway by demand of the unit owners who are saying how it looks ugly compared to the newly restored area. Like I said earlier they have done a lot of work for us and never a problem. Their work is always done on time if not before the given time. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this company as well as their sister company Snow Hawk.
