Most of the wood was sound, although several boards near the front parapet needed to be replaced. A self-adhered modified-bitumen system was installed over new insulation and a cover board. The chimney flashing, plumbing vents, and roof hatch were all completed individually. Additional taper was used near the rear drain to improve water flow. The Royal Renovators Inc. crew protected the front planting area and used the rear access for debris. We found a few scraps of membrane near the neighboring fence after completion, but they returned and picked them up the next morning.
