Because we bought 3 appliances the discount was even greater. Delivery was $150 to Long Beach. The delivery guys Luis and Alex were so careful and gave me time to clean up behind the old washer and dryer before bringing in the new ones. They had to take a door off to get them in the laundry room but put it all back together. They moved the old refrigerator into the garage for us and took the old junk washer and dryer as well as an old dishwasher with them. Satisfied customers!

The store took accountability for the problem and took measures to resolve it in a fashion that was acceptable. While it would have been great not to have had the headaches from the machine and the long process to get the problems resolved in the first place, it was very appreciated that ultimately the store did do right by the customer, which inspires even greater confidence in purchasing their appliances in the future! I called around on Saturday and Philip at PKC was the only one who was able to make it there on the same day. He was responsive to both call and text. I suspect that the Yelp area is not quite accurate, since Philip mentioned that he covers over into Norwalk as well, but certainly on both sides of the LA and Orange counties. He estimated that he would arrive between 6 and 7 PM, and did so at 6:45 (still in the time window). During the visit he was very direct, no-nonsense, quickly identified the inverter issue, had a replacement part on hand, and was able to install and confirm functioning in about 45 minutes. The final cost was $350, in line with his estimate, and a bit below some quoted prices I got from other vendors. I was quite satisfied with the communication, ability to identify and repair the issue, and overall value. I have mentioned Philip to my neighbors in case they have an issue. Philip is able to service other appliances (except for AC units, though he knows someone else who specializes in that).

One was a controller for the compressor, and the other was some sort of circuit board. I did not trust the repair person so I paid the $89 visit and declined the suggested service. We then found PKC online and called them 10 minutes later (5PM yesterday). He said he would be at our home in 40 minutes. Phillip arrived within the time promised and within minutes determined the issue was the compressor controller. He had it with him, installed it, and our fridge was up and running. The other circuit board did not need replacing. I asked him if the coils needed cleaning. He looked at them and said, "they are clean, no need." Total cost $450 which included the $50 visit. Done. Fair, Highly recommend Phillip. Will be calling him for all appliance needs from now on.

I purchased a washer/ dryer, and I had previously purchased 4 other appliances from them. The delivery and installation, though was a big disappointment. The guys were rude and lazy and obviously wanted to leave before they even started the project. When we unhooked the water from the old washer, there was a very slow drip from the hot water faucet. The installers then refused to do any work, including final assembly of the washer and dryer parts, and just left the stacked units in the middle of my garage saying I would get a refund. My contract shows a ~$50 "value" of installation, but that it is included for free. In this case, that only means there is nothing to refund and so after contacting Sean at the store, I found myself stuck assembling and installing them by myself with no compensation. These things are extremely heavy once stacked, and so moving them into place by myself was very difficult and, frankly, dangerous. It is unfortunate that bad field representation can ruin an otherwise very positive experience, but the people that actually come into my private home are really the most crucial in the process. Being insulted in my own home ruined an otherwise fine in-store experience, and so I will be more selective in the future with a retailer that sees the customer service process through to the end.

In addition, CTS doesn't nickel & dime you like the other appliance stores. They don't try and sell you an extended warranty, nor charge you for delivery, haul away or for new hoses. The installation guys were on time, polite and efficient. All of the foregoing was a nice surprise. Doing biz w/ CTS was easy and pleasurable. When my other appliances need replacing, I'll be sure to come to CTS first.
