I saw a groupon deal for Jason and based on the feedback, gave it a shot. I've never really enjoyed massages from an inexpensive foot massage to a not so inexpensive private spa massage. It has never made me feel relaxed. It was sort of difficult to find Jason's office because there were three buildings that look exactly the same and a tree covered the building number where the office is located. But of course I found it after circling a few times. Jason was very thorough in asking questions about your needs and took notes every session. The massage is done in a private room. It's the only room and usually very quiet. I don't like it when you can hear people talking outside. Jason does use scented oils, your choice, and hot towels which I liked. I requested medium pressure and it was perfect! I finally enjoyed a massage. Jason offered the same groupon rate for my next few visits which was very nice of him. His regular rate is quite affordable as well. He does get booked fast and he'll usually let me know if a spot opens up. read more

My boyfriend bought the groupon for JRS Massage for my birthday. I love that it's close to home. I have had a couple of massages in the past, but recently I've been going on a monthly basis at JRS MASSAGE. I do a lot of weight training so my muscles need a deep massage! What I love about Jason is that he listens to your needs and adjusts to to your body. He really gets to know you and understands what needs to be done. The setting is very professional and I always leave relaxed. The price is great. Most massage places make you sign up for a monthly subscription or stop at the 1 hour mark. Jason is flexible and focuses on providing you the needed massage. I'd recommend Jason because of his excellent customer service and price. I can't see myself going to any other place honestly! read more

Jason is a true professional, always striving to make sure every detail is right, as he covers them before the massage even starts and takes feedback afterwards. He's really helped with the neck and shoulder issues I've had and really cares that you feel great afterwards. I highly recommend his services! read more

Excellent deep tissue massage. JRS helps me staying healthy. From scheduling to an on-time appointment, I'm very happy with his work. I can highly recommend this massage therapist. He is listening to your requests and concerns and explains his work before and after each session. read more

I am still in shock at how MINDBLOWINGLY good Jason is at giving a massage. Went in with stress and back/neck pain - left feeling incredibly relaxed. Would recommend in a heartbeat! read more

I started seeing Jason last year and have gone to him routinely since. He's really great at feeling out your trouble spots and focusing on what your body needs (even though you may not have noticed you had tension in the area). I recommend Jason to anyone looking for a thorough body massage. read more

Jason is a phenomenal massage therapist! I have met at least 10 therapists in the last two years and no one stands out as much as Jason. Jason is the first therapist ( in my experience) who takes the time to listen to my needs and actually delivers! He is extremely patient and never rushes his work. He is not the type of therapist who will stop or rush to finish because the session is over. I love that he takes notes and gives suggestions of exercises to do. He really cares about his clients and his skills are second to none! In addition, Jason incorporates hot towels and aromatherapy into the sessions! I can't say enough good things about Jason. I am a returning client because I found the perfect therapist. *I received a free 30 minute massage in exchange to write a review.* read more

Jason is conscientious, caring, and he has a scientific and health minded; more trained approach to massage. I don't know very much about the study of massage, but of all the massages I have experienced, his approach takes more care to actually pay attention to areas that need worked out with technique and movement. To me, that is more important than the "fluffy" spa experience of massage just for the sake of massage. Having said that, Jason also asks just the right questions to check on applied pressure, and checks in regularly. His presence is gentle and genuine, he uses cutting-edge products like essential oils that help rejuvenate the skin and make the client feel more comfortable, without trying to push the product on the client. Whenever I have visited places like Massage Envy, I always feel the pressure to sign up for more sessions or to sign some sort of contract. I do not feel this way here, which is very important to me. I hope that Jason continues to get more clients. He is very responsive, his prices are more than fair, and the atmosphere is comfortable. Great massage. read more

Jason is one of the two best massage therapists I have ever experienced. He is very professional and also very talented. read more

Jason is a wonderful masseuse! He is very professional & knowledgeable. I was given my first massage as a birthday gift from a friend, and I've continued to go back month after month! Also, very reasonable pricing. Would highly recommend! read more

I am no stranger to massages, I've had many in my lifetime and Jason's massages are by far the absolute BEST I've ever had. During my first visit, Jason got to know me and wanted to know what I was looking to accomplish during my session. We discussed my goals and Jason was able to inform me on what he would be doing during the massage to accomplish my goals. Jason has a strong touch but not uncomfortable at all. During my massages he is able to sense what my body is reacting to and he adjusts accordingly. At times Jason will ask if the pressure is adequate and wants to make sure I am comfortable. From the heated massage table, hot towels he uses, massage oils and soothing music, Jason creates the perfect ambiance for the best massage experience you will ever have. If you are still considering in visiting Jason, you've waited too long, make an appointment today. read more

I have been seeing Jason for monthly massages for about a year and a half now. He is hands down the best massage therapist I have ever worked with. I initially found him via Groupon and glad I did! He takes great notes and will make you feel extremely comfortable with each session (as well as recapping the previous session). I recently moved to Lockhart and planning to continue to see him in North Austin when I am able. He even works with me on scheduling, even though I am a hot mess sometimes. I would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone wanting to incorporate massage therapy his his or her life. Thanks, Jason!! read more

I don't say this lightly...but he gave the best massage period. He's also very very thorough, asks questions about medical history to plan the massage. Very courteous and patient. Found him through Groupon, hard to find a booking. It was worth the wait. Go see him! you'll love it. read more

JR is masterful, he listens to both you & your body to analyze your special needs. This is not a fancy spa atmosphere, JR works out of an office building off 2222 near Mopac, it's a quiet, non pretentious place for anyone looking for a terrific massage. He is generous, but FYI he books up quickly. read more

I stumbled upon Jason when looking for a conveniently located Massage therapist. I have seen him 3 times so far and already have my next 3 appointments scheduled. I have never been one to have a regular massage, as it is a luxury, but I changed my mind after meeting Jason! He is professional, skilled and attentive. He takes the time to get to know what my needs are and offers great suggestions based on his experience. I would highly recommend him! read more

I am glad I had received a gift certificate to JRS Massage so I went back for another great session with aroma therapy and hot towels. Jason gave me some recommendations for stretches I can do at home to help with some of the problem areas. That was very useful. read more

Really enjoyed my massage with Jason! Didn't know what to expect but it was probably one of the best massages I've had. Jason is very professional and nice. Made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend and go back. read more

Jason does a fantastic job, getting to know what are my issues then addressing them through massage. He has addressed sore and/or knotted muscles, still neck, lower pack pain - I always leave relaxed and so glad I came. He is helpful in showing me ways to improve my exercise or stretching to keep active and help my body recover. He keeps great notes, so session to session he can reflect on pressure and other techniques that he used. He offers aromatherapy, hot towels, and has a heated table to be sure that you have a super great experience. Can't say enough good things about JRS Massage. read more

Jason is as good as it gets. I'm not a huge massage person, and they are a treat for me. It takes a lot for me to spend time and money on a massage, but after trying a Groupon with Jason, I keep coming back. He is extremely professional. On several occasions, he has gone overtime (asking me beforehand if I would be ok with it to respect my time). He is thorough and listens and keeps detailed notes of past visits. I actually feel healthier after seeing Jason. read more

I've tried numerous massage therapists, and Jason is certainly one of the best. He's very professional -- he listens to you and responds with knowledge of the human body and expertise in massage. The work he does is a mixture of relaxation and relief ... and his use of hot towels and aromatherapy brings it to a higher level. read more

Jason gives one of the best massages I have ever had! I've been 4 times and I'm hooked! Jason is very professional. He's also very thoughtful and kind. He uses hot towels and gives you a choice of massage oils. I can't say enough about how great you'll feel after a massage with Jason! read more

I found Jason through Groupon and I am so glad I did. If he comes off as a little stern, it's because he's so serious about giving you an awesome massage. This is not Massage Envy! Jason is very intentional about taking the time to understand you individual needs. He takes notes and he gives you insight about your body and where you're holding stress. He gives you advice for what to do between sessions to work on that. I'm a dancer, and he's helped me tremendously with the tension in my legs and ankles. I always look forward to our sessions and I feel two inches taller afterwards. His rates are very reasonable. You have to book way ahead of time because his practice fills up quickly, with good reason! read more
