Very thorough repairs, service advisors are civil and explain things carefully, and they will drive you home and pick you up if you don't have an alternate ride. And for a two-bay shop, they were able to take me in very quickly, and did not keep the truck longer than one overnight. Nowadays, EVERY visit to a shop means a bill in high three figures, if not low four figures, and I have no way to calculate comparative economics. Certified is now my go-to repair shop. Preferred over AJ's and definitely over Power GMC.

I explicitly acknowledged that "While they didn't charge for the brake inspection itself, the overall experience left a bad taste in my mouth." I acknowledge the $0 charge on that specific line item. Caliper vs. Total Brake Cost: The owner claimed I said calipers were $900. I never said that. I stated the total brake repairs came out to over $900--which is accurate, as the front disc brakes ($842.24) and rear drum service ($132.00) totaled $974.24.
