They were assigned to us from our home warranty company, and abandoned us on 2 separate jobs in the same week - one heating and one plumbing. They took $350 from us without fixing anything, AND charged the home warranty company. Unreliable, unprofessional, and untrustworthy.

We called an independent contractor for a second opinion. The private contractor actually looked at the problem and fixed it for less than $100. The stem just needed replacement as the one we tried did not have the correct washer. We would have been left with a hole in our drywall in our living room and an $1100 bill had we gone with Jerry's. Given this experience, I'd be very careful moving forward with any services from this company.

They assessed our particular situations and provided many useful suggestions, creative ideas, and tips. The work site was kept clean. The cost was kept within our budget, and everything is itemized so we are well informed. I had other professionals working on the house for a few projects and they have been given good feedback too. The whole process I'd describe as professional, reliable, painless, efficient, open communication and on time! I'd highly recommend them to friends and family.

They then installed the electrical wiring externally around our patio when we requested it to be wired through our attic (standard practice according to other local electric companies). They told us no. The wiring was not attached to house, buckled out infront of our patio door and was a fall hazard. I asked the owner to return to properly attach to house and he said no, we'd have to pay extra for that. Edison came out to reconnect their wire ( running from electrical pole) to our roof and told us the way CEC had connected it was a MAJOR FIRE RISK. the wiring could have slipped out of the tape they used and lit our house on fire. To top it off, the owner of CEC threatened to put a lien on our house if we didn't pay right away after I kindly requested he attach the external wiring to house because it was a fall hazard, before paying. CEC WAS/IS A NIGHTMARE. DO NOT HIRE THEM!

Already twice I requested Silver Plumbing Service to come to my elderly mother's mobile home in…read moreOjai to help with plumbing problems, and both times the crews did an excellent job. The first time was to replace the water heater, and the second time was to unclog the kitchen drain. I was impressed both times with the degree of professionalism and expertise applied. The efficiency and skill levels were very apparent in how well they got the jobs done. For the first job of replacing the water heater, I was put in contact with Scott Silver. Instead of him immediately trying to sell me a new water heater, Scott took the time to explain to me over the phone how to measure/test the thermocouple (since I have an electronics background myself). After testing, he and I both agreed that it made no sense to install a new thermostat on such an old water heater so I had his crew install a new one that they recommended. I was happy to talk with such a plumbing service, that would at least try at first to help me get the old unit working which demonstrated to me their integrity, honesty, and sincere desire to help. I was therefore very satisfied that installing a new water heater was the best decision. For the second job of just recently unclogging my mother's kitchen drain pipe, their worker did a fine job of assessing the situation and utilizing the proper tools to effectively solve the problem. He also took the time to answer my questions for a plumbing situation at another site. Again I was impressed how he took the time to get the job done right. Being in a technical field myself, I can understand that these crews work hard and are on 24 hour call to do just that which shows their dedication to their career. In conclusion, the applied dedication, integrity, and skill of Silver Plumbing Service would definitely make me want to call them again for future plumbing problems.
