Even before April, I would sometimes send him money for 2 mows and he would only show up once. When I asked him about it, he said it was dry and the lawn didn't need to be mowed. I've never experienced worse communication from a business owner. Do not hire this company unless you want to be ghosted. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Due to a variety of reasons I had to reschedule work by a few weeks due to the weather, Martin was able to accommodate the change and when the work was schedule to begin he and the team arrived on time as planned. All the work that was planned was done exceptionally well, in fact, I would say they went above and beyond, and I am so happy to have found Martin and team. I would and have recommended him to neighbors and friends, and I only due that with companies I have 100% confidence and trust in. More recently I asked for a second small job from them and they were able to accommodate me rather quickly and again exactly on the day and time they said they would. I will continue to use them for all future projects. This is an A+++ company, just like Proven Plumbing and Cedar Park Overhead Doors. Work included landscaping improvements, tree pruning, adjustments to sprinklers, fence repair, and general lawn care. I feel lucky to have found such a solid company!

We were having…read moreissues with our sprinkler system and had another company come by who left us with an estimate of over $4.5k of repairs and a $145 bill. Thankfully I got a second opinion and found Greg. He advised the issue was with our main water pressure valve, not our sprinkler system. He said a plumber can fix it. Once the plumber replaced the valve, our system worked fine! Except for one head that Greg came back and fixed for us at a great price. It is refreshing to know they are still honest people out there. Greg is the real deal!

Our sprinkler box went out and Greg came to the house to verify and identify what unit we'd need to order/replace it - giving us a price of $250. He also said that we'd need a new outlet and had a guy who could install it. When Greg returned with the box, he didn't account for the number of zones correctly resulting in a final price of $450. The electrician he referred charged $125 to install the new outlet. 1 week later, the system went down. I was able to confirm that it wasn't the box that was the issue, the outlet didn't work. We also had 1 sprinkler head that was broken. Greg came back out to check the system and fix the 1 sprinkler head. He identified a 2nd head that needed to be fixed. He wanted to charge me $250! He ended up charging me $200 after I expressed concerns that this is the second time he's charged me a lot more than he said it would be. The electrician admitted to installing it incorrectly and corrected it AND charged me an additional $60. Also, I don't think I should have paid because I paid him $125 to install it and he did it wrong. In the end I paid $185 to install an outlet. I sent Greg and the electrician a text message on Wednesday after they left expressing all these concerns and neither of them responded. I said that supporting local businesses was important to me and that I wanted to be able to refer them but didn't feel that they were honest with me.... still they didn't respond. All in all, I ended up paying a lot more money than what they quoted and what I would have paid if I went with a more well known business. Disappointing.

They trimmed one side pretty good but never trimmed the dead branches out of the lower canopy on either side. On the opposite side they left branches hanging over the fence into my neighbors yard. The price suddenly was now $1500. No one on the crew spoke Engish. Most of the work was done with those tiny chain saws on a pole. I don't believe that I saw a traditional chain saw the entire time they were here. They changed the price to $1700. When we pointed out the branches hanging over the fence that were left undone, we were told it would be another $400. NOPE! Didnt get done.Ended up paying $1750 and today we have a REAL arborist finishing up everything that Jose's did not do. We wlli never do business with JOSE'S TREE SERVICE again.

Where to start?…read more Well, Lyle was the consummate professional. We were initially concerned because he was coming in and helping us to restore some order to our yard after a debacle of a pool installation. At this point, we felt like we could trust nobody. From the get go, he reassured us that he could get the job done right. He was not only knowledgeable but throughout our conversations, he was doing check-in's to make sure he understood exactly what we were asking him to do. Great communicator! He needed to collaborate with other professionals to put in the sprinkler system but he took responsibility for their work and was an excellent project manager. We did our homework and talked with numerous service providers but landed with Lyle because he put us at rest after the terrible pool installation. Our yard is beautiful and we couldn't be happier, which is all that's important in the end.

I had a great experience. I will be using their services again for sure…read more They came out to do an initial inspection and walk through of the task. I needed help with redoing my front flowerbed and starting over with it as well as digging up some poor rock work on the side of the house in the backyard (from another company). They divided this up into phases starting with the front and back being P1 and finishing off the front flowerbed as P2. As with a lot of things in the service industry, 100% satisfaction is hard - especially on the first shot. Getting it fixed is where you find out how good a place really is. They came and knocked out the digging portion of the front flowerbed but there was a lapse in work for the remainder of the task due to a large client of theirs requiring all hands on deck. I didnt have a problem with this because I had a bad case of Bermuda grass which couldnt be fixed by previous companies (several have tried, these guys did the most (good) damage to it). Them digging up the front and letting it sit there for a week was good because it allowed me to see what came back. Naturally, some did (it was really bad, nobody was going to get it right the first time). They would later come back a week later to do the backyard. At this time, the Operations Manager spoke with me and was looking for feedback after P1. I mentioned some minor things which I intended on fixing and she insisted they didnt want their clients going back and fixing up stuff. She relayed my info to Ismail, the Team Lead for the project, and he would eventually fix them himself on the 3rd and final trip. For P2, initially I was thinking of rocks to replace the dirt/mulch in the front but the price was really high for me. Because of that, I considered scratching P2 and doing it myself from here on out and going a different route. Through their persistence and negotiations and finding out what I wanted to do instead, we met at a favorable position for both of us and finished the project. It was a pleasure working with people passionate and knowledgeable about their work and I can honestly say that the attitude extends upward to the Ops Manager as well. Sure, some people may not be too happy with having a large gap from breaking ground in day 1 to the last part being many days later but I think that worked in my favor as I was not in a rush and, as said before, I wanted to see what would grow back. That persistent grass that came back was later dug up properly from the root and covered off with a weed barrier.

I was told a estimate would be sent later that night but instead I got a message asking for more info. The next day we had a call set up for noon that he made late and blamed daylight savings time on. Next call we set up he never even bothered to call. (I don't chase people I pay for jobs) My main concern with the service was the things he missed. Wes told me my backyard basically had to many sprinklers and lacked the water pressure needed to get the job done. We discussed adding a zone and he blamed the original install. But after some further inspection the real problem was found. The system had two major line breaks: the main 1" pipe and a 1/2" tube both had broke.(easy to spot as they were both creating pools of water in the yard. I was also asked to write the check out to the person who did the service not the company. Bottom line: if In a pinch use them but get more than one opinion before doing a major repair.
