(I noticed when contacting him for my most recent project, it seems to be other landscaping Companies are named similarly - I made the mistake of contacting the wrong one, and quickly realized how much confusion it causes! make sure you're getting the right one! Cesar is the owner! ) Fair pricing, quality is amazing, and work ethic is so strong! I saw a few reviews and have to say this... you have to maintain whatever landscaping anyone puts in - whether it be your irrigation, plants, and weeds that follow!!! Weed barrier overall doesn't prevent Texan weeds from growing, and generally I don't recommend or get weed barrier. Use a natural ground cover that snuffs the bad stuff out. You'll also have to replace some plants - they can be finicky based on the elements and soil (or rocks) which can vary in a single yard. If you are new to the area, know this - color is season al but most often everything is green. It requires so much self care if you want color all year around which basically means planting annuals yourself. read more

The great photos on their website got us excited to get an estimate from this company. He came and took up more than an hour of time, had a lot of comments, seemed knowledgeable. Then they never sent the estimate that he promised to send. Pretty flaky behavior and would not trust them. read more

This is our third landscape project with Blue Agave Landscapes. Previously Caesar had done the front of our house and the second project was my mothers front and backyard. We had finally been ready to transform a boring plain backyard into something elegant with plenty of seating. Originally we intended for a border wall and the patio. Cesar worked with us on the design and it turned into an entire sitting wall that maximizes the amount of people that can gather without standing in the backyard for larger events in our tiny backyard. The patio design and wall design was aligned to the existing 17.5' wide patio with giant 3x5 lueder steps that weighed nearly 500 lbs each. Accent borders in lueder for the patio made the entire deign pop. Lighting was something that had initially not crossed our mind, but made it a showcase at night and added a lot of ambiance. In all there are 32 lights. The trees are taylor junipers, which require a hill and full sun and look like Italian cypress but are more cold hardy. Cesar picked out two moskogee crape myrtles to finish the look. With a drawn plan in hand and clear pricing, submission to our HOA went quick and smoothly. All the contracts had been clear and we meet and talked a couple of times to finalize them before approving them. In the end we are very happy with the results and all the forethought that went into drainage, and all the small stuff you don't think about with a large project. That's when experience comes into play. read more

Cesar and team did a great job on my front lawn. They helped in removing an old flower bed and dead tree, following by replacing the tree, building a new stone flower bed and building stone rings around the trees. Once they were done dropping in the new plants they repaired the irrigation hoses. The following day, Cesar came out and helped me setup a watering schedule, while also providing me tips needed to take care of my new plants in the short term and long term. That said, we're very happy with the results. Everything looks clean and professional. We're looking forward to see our new magnolia tree blooming soon! read more

I would hire Cesar and Blue Agave Landscapes again. After a year in my new home without doing anything to upgrade the exterior I reached out to about ten different landscapers and masons. Believe me, I got all kinds of responses. Cesar, however, was patient and after the site visit to see what I was trying to do, sent me several detailed replies via email to hone in on the final design. He offered a very detailed line item estimate - at least one landscaper just gave me a total cost and refused to break it down - and he did two or three revisions as we adjusted the final details. always in writing. Based on his quotes, details and the evidence of his previous work I went with Cesar, and I'm glad I did. The work his crew did for me included new irrigation, over 100' of new plantings (and I don't know how many yards of river rock to make those plantings look good), some limestone tree rings, some sod, replacing an entire wooden railing with wrought iron and most of all, building a complete new outdoor kitchen of limestone and lueder including installing all the appliances. In short, a lot of work. He showed up every day when he said he would, got his work done and kept me updated. And most importantly, like in all reno projects there were invariably a few scenarios we hadn't planned on; every time we had a surprise Cesar had some ideas about how to handle what we hadn't planned on, and we talked over pros and cons and kept going. He is flexible. More importantly if there was something I wasn't pleased with Cesar got it corrected immediately. No arguing, no bullshit. I don't know if you've done a reno yet but working with a contractor who is actually trying to achieve your vision - after you pay them the draw?! - is really phenomenal. And what's more he refused to take the final draw until the work was complete and I was satisfied. How many contractors can you say that about in today's day and age? Hint: not many! Call Blue Agave. Talk to Cesar. You will be glad you did. read more

Blue Agave made a native plant flower bed for me, which included digging up and amending clay soil. We also had an open area of decomposed granite installed and custom cedar planter boxes and trash bin enclosure. Jayson was realistic about some of my fantasies and explained alternate choices and prices. We enjoyed working with Jayson and Blue Agave and look forward to having them come back for more work. read more

We hired Blue Agave Landscaping to finish the side of our house. While it was a rather small project Cesar took the time to offer ideas and showed us pictures that let us imagine what we could do. He was prompt on the delivery of the pricing and provided full detail of the projects. While there was some downtime between when we initially met and when they came to do the projects, their crews were professional and courteous. We also asked them to remove stumps from our front yard and it was meticulous when completed. They leveled it, raked it out and took all the weeds with them. The project was completed on time. The finished product was beautiful and we absolutely love the walkway they installed. read more

Without any reservations, both my husband & I recommend Blue Agave and its owner, Cesar Beltran, for any landscaping and/or masonry projects. The home we purchased in The Preserve at Escalera had front and back yards consisting of approximately 1/2 acre, combined, of weeds and a severe drainage problem. There was also a small patio, inadequate outdoor kitchen, and a walkway made of paving bricks that were in an irregular sand base. Cesar and his crews came in and transformed the front and back yards into incredible, unique, low maintenance landscapes of stone, plants, and Cesar's unique "river of grass" in the front yard. The patio and walkway were transformed, the outdoor kitchen was made beautiful and functional. There is no longer a drainage problem. The backyard even includes a wonderful water feature and stylish landscape lighting. Cesar's crews have a variety of different skills and are capable of providing a total solution to any landscaping and hardscaping requirements and they show up every day and work tirelessly. Perhaps, Cesar's most valuable asset is that he listens to you when you describe what you would like the end product to be and he makes it happen. I can't imagine having anyone else work on our outdoor projects. read more

We recently hired them for our backyard patio work. They built a beautiful stone patio for us and we are happy with the result. Owner Cesar is easy to work with, professional and knowledgeable, really knows how to create nice outdoor space. They really have attention to details. Also I like that the crew always cleans up at the end of each work day, our yard was never a mess while the patio construction was going on. read more

Highly professional, reasonable price, and high quality work. I couldn't recommend anyone more. Thanks for the beautiful work!

Blue Agave did an amazing transformation to my side yard. The workers were very meticulous. Cesar is very knowledgeable about the industry and assisted my husband and I in making our decision on what would work best for us. I have many more outdoor projects and will definitely be hiring Blue Agave for future projects. I'll be sure to post more pictures as more projects are completed. I now look forward to going into my back yard and seeing the side yard look so clean. I highly recommend this company. read more

Cesar and his crew were first recommended to me by a local masonry supplier. I was in a bind after being screwed over by a local handyman. Cesar and his crew to the rescue. Not only did they show up on time but did the job below my handyman estimates and I was able to add to my project to get the space completely finished. They cleaned up after their work and as an interior designer I have hired them on other jobs interior and exterior. Cesar and his crew are dependable as well as caring. He will try to give you the most bang for your buck without you having to sacrifice quality. I can't say enough good things about them. read more

Blue Agave Landscapes - I hired blue agave to do my dining room rock wall arches. Awesome job! - Landscaping Near Me - Hutto, Texas

No question , hands down the most professional, organised and with an extremely detailed and accurate proposal I have had the pleasure of dealing with after having moved to Georgetown. I interviewed 4 organisations to do extensive work involving not only design but stone work , installation of sod , recovery of some previously poorly installed grass and correction of sprinkler deficiencies. Blue Agave did it all at what I consider a reasonable price and has continued to follow thru on a continuous basis. If you want the job done correctly and completely then this is where you should do business . read more

I do NOT recommend them. We just moved here and had a decently sized landscaping and hardscape project so we engaged Cesar to get a quote. Cesar was really responsive in the beginning, especially when it came to coming on site to sell the project and collecting/cashing deposits while making it a point of insisting that he was not overcharging us because we lived in a nice area which should have been a red flag if I had only been less impatient to get started. It pretty much went downhill after we signed the quote. I don't normally write bad reviews and we're not typically this unforgiving with vendors because nothing is ever perfect, but I feel compelled to spell some things out for others who might be considering Blue Agave: PRICING: Part of this was our fault because we were anxious to get done - we didn't do our due diligence. Blue Agave straight up gouged us - we for sure would have gotten more competitive pricing on some of the services had we not done everything through Blue Agave. We ended up getting insanely overcharged for tree trimming (should have done this directly with a tree service), planter pots (we should have bought ourselves), sprinkler system re-design (we had multiple problems with plants not getting water, they broke a main pipe they "fixed" 3 times, and it is still not working great - our water bill continues to be obscene since Blue Agave was here, so who knows if it ever got fully fixed). DESIGN: The landscaping "design" was poor and clearly didn't take into account the seasonality of the overall design. Meaning that everything blooms at once and outside of early summer we have a whole lot of nothing. The size and quality of new trees was poor (tiny and unhealthy looking), and the biggest peeve is we had tons of sub-standard substitutions because what was scoped was "no longer available" - this makes our yard look more like a hodge podge landscape with low interest and too much chaos vs. the original "lush, tropical, colorful" vision Cesar laid out for us. STONEWORK: The stone paver courtyard turned out nicely but we had to ask them to come back and completely re-set it because it was installed with no weed barrier and 3 weeks after install we had a weed garden in the new courtyard. Allegedly this was because the original quote was to have ground cover growing between the stones, but we didn't get the ground cover we were quoted (another "substitution") and instead got wild oregano which looked completely ridiculous and had to be taken out and replaced with crushed granite. BOTTOM LINE: Overall, we are vastly disappointed in how a big investment in our landscape has turned out. We feel Blue Agave overpromised, overpriced and underdelivered. On the plus side, Cesar does say he's committed to our satisfaction and does respond to us and does come back to replace stuff that's died (due to continued sprinkler problems, heat, quality, placement or just bad luck). I'm waiting to see how some of the saplings (currently on life support) come back and hopefully Cesar will continue to help us with replacements. This particular project is hands down the biggest disappointment we have had so far in our home improvement journey. I highly recommend looking elsewhere for landscape design. read more

We are so happy with the work that Cesar and his crew did. Cesar was easy to work with, knowledgeable, professional and costs were fair. He didn't finish the job until we were 100% satisfied and we couldn't be happier with the end result. We've since spent every day and night out on our patio! read more

I called Cesare to help us to build a huge concrete masonry garden bed to add some privacy to our backyard before we install a pool next spring. Cesare got back with us immediately. That alone got him some major points with me because there are so many companies who never answer their phones or return calls or messages. He arranged to come over that very day to take a look at our backyard. The minute he walked out of his truck, I knew he was going to be a winner. He makes eye contact, and he speaks with the ease of someone who loves what he does and takes pride in his work. We hired him that very day and will continue next spring for our patio outdoor kitchen area. He is easy going, listens, asks questions, gives suggestions. Even after his work was done he comes by and checks on the plants and gives great advice. Our backyard has never looked better. We are thrilled with his reliability, dependability and deep sense of commitment to doing an exceptional job. Cesare and his team are the real deal. Call him with confidence. You will be glad you did. read more

I will definitely recommend Blue Agave, the owner Cesar Beltran took great care of us. They added a two side walkways next to our driveway and did some landscape work for us. It came out great. His workers were very professional and kept our area clean after they left, Cesar kept us informed of the next steps and of what will take place next. Great company. Will definitely use them again for next project. read more

Unfortunately, I can't say anything about the work they do, because after 3 failed appointment no-shows/no return call or email, of course I would not trust hiring Cesar and his crew. On the second rescheduled appointment, he did not show up, and when I called, he said he had confused me with another client. He then said I could have my pick of times the following week, and when I selected a day, he came back and said he was completely booked. Never even bothered to answer my email about it. I don't usually write bad reviews, but this is terrible customer service. read more

They did a fabulous job on our yard! We will continue to use them in the future for what ever needs arrive!

Gosh just love the work these guys do. We have had them out several times for differt things and been very happy each time with the service, responsiveness, etc. For example when we first moved to georgetown we found out our new house had drainage issues. The blue agave team swarmed all over it and installed a berm, and redirected the water from the gutters away from the house. Best of all when they were done you really could not tell that they had been there...everything looks really good...and WORKS really well. We had them back to figure out the crazy patchwork sprinkler system we inherited here and again they did an amazing job getting the system up and running, repairing broken valves, and getting the drip irrigation working correctly. Just had them back again to do a full bed cleanup of the front and back yards. Man everything looks great now and their workers, in addition to being very helpful, were very careful to always clean up after themselves each night...never left anything out of place... I know they do great masonry work as they did work for us in our old house, so we plan to have them out again this fall for a bigger backyard addition. I highly recommend Blue agave landscapes. ..they are the real deal. read more

We were very happy with the results from Cesar and his team. Cesar really added to the overall look of the property with a variety of plants and larger rocks. Cesar and his crew are a real pleasure to work with! I needed to have some stonework in my yard in Teravista repaired, and also some of it to be redesigned and then rebuilt completely. Cesar made some wonderful recommendations and then his team immediately got to work. Clearly, they take great pride in what they do, and the result was perfection! The clean-up afterwards was first rate, and the cost was very reasonable indeed. I can't recommend Blue Agave Landscapes highly enough and would utilize their services again without a moment's hesitation. Thank you, Cesar! read more

We recommend Cesar and his crew at Blue Agave Landscaping very highly. Blue Agave was referred to us by some neighbors who had a beautiful set of steps. The craftsmanship stood out, so we took their recommendation and called them. The result was a fantastic job on giving us some steps in our complicated front yard, on our VERY steep hill that the builder left out! I feel like the quality and safety of these stairs already has prevented accidents with some of our visitors who previously had a hard time getting up and down the hill to our front door. We got to meet him, and he did a great job of listening to absorb what we needed/wanted, then he unleashed his creative powers and did a phenomenal job of going above and beyond what we asked for. His team of hard, friendly workers did some exceptional craftsmanship for us. Anytime a choice was needed that could affect the estimate, he consulted with us in person or in email to get our approval. In the end, his original estimate was exactly what he charged. We now get daily comments from our family, friends and neighbors on the stairs, they really stand out, yet blend in perfectly with the other work in the neighborhood. At the start of the project, the questions he asked to narrow down exactly what we wanted were very perceptive. We've already called him back for a second project, which they completed very quickly, and now we're planning #3 and #4! Thank you! read more
