He arrived at 8 AM sharp as promised and started working on it. He brought a top-of-the-line American Standard disposer. I quickly checked the price online and found that Costco had it on sale for almost half the price he had paid from another supplier. Luis immediately took a picture of the website and negotiated with the supplier to get a drastic discount for me. Nice! After that, he showed me the problem with the drain pipe connection that the previous plumber had created. He disappeared for a while to get the necessary parts, and later I learned he went to both Lowe's and Home Depot to get the required connection pipes. He fixed the unexpected problem and installed the disposer nicely. He is a real professional. What I like about his work is that he cleaned up the area he worked in. He told me he treats it as if it were his own home. The price was reasonable and less than the original quote, as he negotiated down the disposer price, ensuring he would get his refund from his supplier. The reason I got their service was because of a drain pipe issue in the laundry area that caused water damages (wall and flooring). I was supposed to get Vargas service just for the plumbing portion and a separate restoration company for wall/floor demo and reconstruction. However, the moment I found out that Vargas Pros also includes reconstruction/renovation services as part of their scope of work, I decided to give it a shot based on their quality of work and professionalism. Overall service was significantly cheaper and faster than what the other company had estimated. After we remediated the sewage, we spent weeks trying to get a reasonable bid. We had several plumbers tell us they weren't interested and several others give us outrageous bids. When we finally got enough bids to move forward, we selected 911 Drain Lines and Plumbing. They weren't the rock bottom price -- but the price was competitive AND they were responsive. We liked the modern touches like appointment reminders. Once they got going, we appreciated that they were unobtrusive. They came, did their work and only needed to be let into the house a couple times. They took care not to destroy our house and cleaned up after themselves. The project took 2 days and we have our bathroom back. Would definitely call Brett and team again.

I recently used this plumbing company and the plumber was Miguel…read more Initially we hired him to fix a bathtub, which wasn't draining properly and he said he was able to fix it. After starting the project, he called us and told us he was unable to fix it, but was going to try and work around it. The next day we noticed he actually made the problem worse and the tub wasn't draining the water at all after he went to "fix" the problem. He charged us the full amount and we paid him but the issue was still there and we called him plenty of times to return and try to fix it. We gave him plenty of opportunities to fix it and he claimed he did but the issue was never resolved. After over a month of trying to get a hold of him and having him fix the mess he did, we finally gave up and hired a different plumbing company. We proceeded to call Miguel and let him know we hired a different plumber and that plumber was able to fix it and clean the mess he did. We let Miguel know we were going to need most of our money back because he did not fix the issue he was hired for and in fact made it worse along with a huge hole on the exterior of the wall. Miguel then said he would call us back to see about the money and completely ignored us and our multiple calls and texts. We called him for over a month and he ignored our calls and texts. We finally tried calling him from a different number and he finally answered because he thought it wasn't my husband or I calling him. We let him know we needed our money and he said he wouldn't give us anything back because he charged for his time and material. We let him know we would pay for his time but his useless material was available to be picked up because the second plumber we hired said that wasn't the proper equipment. We just want our money back but trust us we will never use M & M plumbing or Miguel again. They were not a good business and we will not recommend them to others.
