SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. DO NOT USE. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE. These clowns came to my house and worked for a few days but only got a 1/2 days worth of work done. Gave them $1,000 for a "deposit". Total job was $2,500. He asked for the total amount before the job was done. Good thing I didn't give him all of it because he would've left with that. Long story short, he left my house one day and hasn't come back. He blocked my number and left my backyard a MESS. The job was nowhere close to being done. They are obviously writing their own reviews to make the business look better. DO NOT HIRE THESE SCUMBAGS.

Our front yard needed a face lift. Jordan and his crew did a great job, arrived on time, and finished 2 days earlier than promised. At the end they cleaned up everything and made sure all existing sprinklers were working and hitting every plant. Thank you Jordan!!

A big shout out to JP Landscaping for transforming my front yard in a matter of days. Since recently moving out to Tracy, I've found that it was a little harder to maintain a lawn. And so, within a few months my lawn full of green grass turned into weeds (I blame the scorching sun and my inexperience with lawn care). I started researching alternatives for landscape designs and came across JP Landscaping. I was amused by the "drought tolerant" designs that he had which was very eco-friendly and low maintenance. So, I decided to contact them for a quote. Jordan was able to return my email and calls and soon enough, he was at my house and provided a quote. His bid was very competitive compared to a few others in the area, so I decided to proceed. Fast forward to a few weeks later to the start of the project, Jordan and his team were able to complete everything in less than two days, which was Phenomenal! My front yard now looks presentable and I'm looking forward to growing the plants and trees that were installed. Thanks JP Landscaping for the amazing customer service and work!

What a pleasure to work with Jordan and Rene. The process and experience wete seamless from initial visit for quote to the job completion. I has several quotes AND JORDAN PRESTON WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT MENTIONED REBATES! I can't praise this firm enough. There are many landscapers and landscaper wannabe out there but Preston Landscaping is THE REAL DEAL!

I found Preston Landscaping on Craigslist and, quite frankly, it was a stroke of great luck! I needed drought tolerant landscaping. I called numerous landscape companies, but many did not return my calls and the few that did, the accents were so thick, I could not communicate with them. Others, did not understand what "drought tolerant" meant. It was an exercise in futility until I texted Preston! I asked to be contacted via email and immediately received a confirmation text back. That evening, there was the email I requested in my inbox. I scheduled an evaluation with Travis and he showed up on time. I told him I needed "drought tolerance" and that was all he needed from me. He took measurements and said he'd send me an estimate with 24 hours. The estimate also arrived as promised. And on it, I was given several options on materials and plants. I didn't have to tell him what plants were drought tolerant, Travis knew. I agreed to the price, one which I felt was very reasonable, I might add, and scheduled an installation date. Again, the project started on time. Travis and Jordan immediately went to work. As it happened, I was very busy and didn't have time to (micro)manage their work, but micromanagement was required anyway. Absolutely zero direction or additional time was required of me. They did PRECISELY what they said they would and all with outstanding workmanship! When the project was complete, again, on time, Preston Landscape left me with beautiful, drought tolerant, landscaping and no residual mess like empty pots or material bags. Everything was swept, cleaned-up and, actually, they left the surrounding areas better than they found them! They're also very polite and, overall, just good people! :-) I'm 100% pleased with Preston Landscaping!

Messy border. When I addressed it, he said it wasn't in the quote to make it even with a border of any kind.

My husband hired them to put in a barbecue area in our backyard and pavers with trees in the front of our house. Then he suggested adding on some plants by our master bedroom window and behind the barbecue area. That's where the trouble began. All work was approved in August. We decided on honeysuckles on trellises and camellias. The work for the barbecue area and the front of the house went well and on schedule. The area behind the barbecue area and by the master bedroom were not completed. It kept getting put off. The job was started in August and was not finished until the following April. Excuses included that the plants were not available at the nursery that they use. That actually was a bit of a relief since they wanted to plant them in January and I was afraid that they would freeze. Then March rolls around and I ask if we could go to the nursery that they use and pick out the honeysuckles and camellias. There was not much to pick from, but we decided on coral honeysuckle for behind the barbecue area and purple honeysuckle and two white camellias for the master bedroom area. Unfortunately, the only white camellias available were on trellises. I told my husband that it might cause a problem, but if they asked for more money that would be perfectly fine. Unfortunately, no one spoke to us about it. Their answer to the problem was simply to leave out the trellises for the honeysuckles. Now we have honeysuckles that are planted too far from the fence with no trellises. This company is either lacking in communication with customers or does not have enough experience with smaller plants. I recommend them for stonework, paving, and tree planting, but not for smaller plants. Their pricing is very reasonable. Just be sure that they understand what is important to you for example trellises. Also be sure that they don't do any planting in January when your plants are liable to freeze. Better yet just stick to the stonework and paving. They are great at that!

Once we started working with them, they were everything you'd want in an engagement and more. Extremely reliable, responsible, dependable, and definitely went above and beyond in so many ways. They walk you through every step of the process but also let you be involved with as little or as much as possible. So attentive and available whenever we had questions about anything. All of their crew onsite were friendly and respectful. We added on things along the way but they still met the original timeline discussed. We could not be happier with the turnout and spend so much more time in our yard now! Would recommend and happily be a resource for anyone considering.

NAB removed all the bad concrete and replaced it with pavers, and on the other side of the court, they added 5 feet of concrete where we had lawn, as well as adding to our existing retaining wall. After the pavers were installed, I noticed something not to my preference with the paver layout. I contacted Nick, our site manager from NAB, and he was very responsive, and arranged for Nate (the company president) to come out right away and discuss the matter, which was resolved that same day to my complete satisfaction. Nick also was happy to arrange for a few other small tasks related to bricks and concrete on our property to be taken care of, and they were - at no added cost. NAB construction was not the lowest bid we got for this work, but I have learned the hard way that going with the lowest price is not always a great idea, and I am glad I went with NAB for this project. I'm very satisfied with the results of this project, and would not hesitate to recommend NAB construction to others.

We wanted a walkway installed so we went back but this time we dealt with someone by the name of Nick Vard. He was very unprofessional and used the terms "outside the scope of work" and asked us to make a "commitment" several times. I went to Brickyard on a Saturday at 8AM per the direction of Nick but when I called him about our selection he never called me back. He blamed us and said they lost money on the job because it took longer than expected. He tried to convince me to use a brick I did not like. And the biggest disappointment was the drainage that they left unfinished. We spent almost $10k but we feel like the job is incomplete. Wish we could recommend them but if they continue working with Nick Vard you should stay away.
