Although I am not a patient of Dr. Cooke's--at least not yet--I am greatly impressed by her team!…read moreIn the last two weeks, Carolina, one of her assistants, spoke with me three times, spending an extraordinary two hours in all, explaining Dr. Cooke's practice, answering every question, and even brainstorming with me about a particular issue! I cannot imagine a doctor's office--even a functional medicine one-- providing more helpful, detailed support. Unfortunately, despite fees that I know are fair for a NYC physician of Dr. Cooke's caliber, I'm unsure if I could afford to see Dr. Cooke. However, Carolina's excellent help tells me that Dr. Cooke's care must be outstanding.

Grateful every day to have met Dr. Cooke. She is a brilliant doctor and a beautiful person. I spent…read moresome time in her office learning from her during my medical studies and public health studies. She is thorough, knowledgeable and genuine. Dr. Cooke thinks out of the box. She draws from extensive training from different schools of thought, compromising her vast medical toolbox. Her genuine touch is a rare quality in modern medicine; it is usually drained out of most physicians. The more I read, the more physicians I work with, and the more I learn only reinforces my respect and admiration for Dr. Cooke. At first I wondered why many patients came from so far away to see her. Patients who had thoroughly researched and visited European clinics ultimately came and settled into the warmth as Dr. Cooke's patients. It is crystal clear to me now. She is one of a kind. I highly recommend Dr. Cooke She is the best!

For unforeseen personal circumstances I had to cancel my membership, not even 18 hours after I had signed up. Sent them an email explaining I had to cancel for now but hopefully will resume in the future. And they are charging me $150 cancellation fee. No sympathy to personal circumstances, just claiming it's for administrative purposes. I can understand if they have already processed my application, or have offered me some of their services, but none of that had happened. I had literally signed up around 3pm on a Tuesday and emailed them about cancellation at 8am on Wednesday. They've been so difficult to deal with, kept repeating the fact that they have a $150 cancellation fee without any empathy or rationale for the fee. It is quiet shocking to experience this level of customer service in today's society when customer service is crucial to a business reputation. But they seem to not care. I would stay away!

I've done Reiki a couple of times before but never felt a huge difference. With Deborah, it was different. During the session, Deborah asked questions to understand my needs and concerns. She was positive and warm, and made me feel very comfortable. She also introduced me to flower essences, which I hadn't heard of prior. During the healing session, I yawned a lot (like I was releasing a lot of repressed energy!). Afterwards, I felt relaxed - it was clear that the session truly worked although it wasn't done in person, which I was a little nervous about at first. Deborah also quickly followed up after our session with additional information and promptly responded to a follow up question I had about flower essences. It's been four days since our session, and my chronic neck pain that I've had for 10 weeks is significantly better - in a way my chiropractor couldn't help. I'm really glad I made the investment in my healing session with Deborah and now understand why she has so many positive, genuine reviews (she's not compensating us or giving us discounts to write these, like some businesses do!). I'm very grateful to have found Deborah - she is truly gifted.

Immediately after my visit, i was introduced to her office assistant who tried to sell me an annual/member subscription for which many services i did not need. i left the office saying i would review, however, most likely a monthly subscription would not be something i would be interested in and went my merry way. Next day i went to my pharmacy to pick up my prescriptions which Dr. Cohen had told me she was prescribing, much to my surprise there were no prescriptions. When i called dr's office, i was referred to office assistant who said, i neglected to tell you last night, but prescriptions are not covered unless you sign up for the membership fee (I JUST PAID $650.00 FOR THIS VISIT AND PRESCRIPTIONS NOT COVERED????????............. I went ballistic -- i said you NEVER disclosed that, what kind of doctor sees a patient and prescribes meds and expects a membership fee, WHAT ABOUT THE $650.00 I JUST PAID WHAT WAS THAT FOR????? NO RESPONSE. OFFICE ASSISTANT APOLOGIZED AND SAID SORRY I DIDNT DISCLOSE THIS ABOUT THE PRESCRIPTIONS LAST NIGHT. I SAID NO WORRIES I AM GOING TO DISPUTE THE AMEX CHARGE AS I DONT PAY DOCTORS THAT ISSUE PRESCRIPTIONS AND FORCE A MEMBERSHIP FEE THAT I DONT NEED DOWN MY THROAT FOR FURTHER INSULT TO INJURY. Bottom line, had i gotten my prescription, all would have been well -- in 4-6 months i would have made another appointment with this doctor as is usual and customary with other practictioners such as her, however, this dr forces you to pay not only $1500.00 for two visits, but then another $3500.00 for the subscription. I thought she was a medical doctor not a personal trainer --- STAY AWAY FROM THIS FALSE PRETENSE OF A PERSON -- she wants to sell shakes that taste horrific, books that make no sense and just in it for the money as opposed to sticking with her oath as a medical practitioner -- plenty of good doctors out there. I will continue to dispute my charge with the credit card company and continue to write these reviews as it is my duty to advise the public to stay far away from Dr. Dana Cohen. By the way to be even more transparent since writing bad reviews is not my thing, had my credit card charge for $650.00 not been challenged i may not have even bothered to write this review, however, this doctor thinks they can deceive the public, NO WAY, I AM GOING TO WRITE A REVIEW ON EVERY PLATFORM OUTTHERE TO ENSURE THAT THE PUBLIC IS PROTECTED FROM THESE PEOPLE THAT ARE IN IT NOT TO UPHOLD THEIR OATH BUT FOR GREED ONLY.
