She's treated me for a range of things -- like stress, IVF and pregnancy-related nausea (which was really bad) among other things. I *always* feel better after our sessions, and on the pregnancy front - acupuncture was the only thing that gave me any relief from the nausea. She also does cupping and gua-sha where I need it -- routine shoulder and neck pain, but also against my ribs and thighs to help open things up during pregnancy (iyk, yk). I had the worse migraines, nausea, vomiting, acid reflux associated with pregnancy but wanted to minimize oral medications if I could. My friends recommended acupuncture and have to say, thank goodness I found Sharon at five seasons healing! It was honestly the only thing that worked for me. I started off with session every 2 weeks during my second trimester and have continued the sessions since then (later sessions to target back pain, jaw pain, ongoing acid reflux, and now focusing on labor induction). Sharon is very gentle (you can barely feel the needles) and has lots of knowledge regarding prenatal care. I did a few sessions with Erin as well, and she was also great. I love seeing Jayne for facial acupuncture! My main concerns were smoothing out lines on my forehead as well as evening out the tone and texture of my skin overall. After my first session, my face was absolutely glowing and now after about 3 or 4 sessions, I can really start to see noticeable consistent results. Highly highly recommend. I have been going to Sharon Yeung at Five Seasons Healing since 2022. I started seeing her mainly for IVF support and general health issues, including mental, physical, and high stress and anxiety levels. She made me feel heard regarding my emotional and physical pain and helped me feel better almost immediately after each session. She is very thorough in understanding your concerns, taking time to listen and trying to find the root causes of issues while also treating present symptoms. An exceptional and worthwhile investment: I am 35 weeks pregnant and have been seeing Sharon for the majority of my pregnancy. I initially looked into Chinese acupuncture because I was diagnosed with a subchorionic hematoma. While they can be mild, they can also present significant complications for women like me - of advanced maternal age. From our intake appointment, Sharon addressed each of the concerns I presented throughout the duration of this pregnancy - the aforementioned hematoma, sciatica, chronic nasal congestion and a variety of other pregnancy-related discomforts. Through acupuncture and her prescribed herbal formulas, I am confident that Sharon's support has been instrumental in keeping me healthy, active and generally comfortable throughout my pregnancy. Sharon is incredible. Within 1-2 months of weekly acupuncture sessions and a prescribed custom herbal tea, my menstrual cycle came back, and became regular with little to no PMS symptoms. I've visited Five seasons regularly for the last 5 years, they have been so helpful with fertility and many other things. In January 2021, my husband and I both tested positive for covid. I saw Sharon for a virtual video consult within 2 days of testing positive, she arranged for a custom herbal formula to be sent to me. We had a second consult around 5 days after the initial consult, during which time my symptoms improved considerably.
