I came to Robert looking for a change in the quality of the way I'd been feeling for about a year. I didn't really know what to expect going in. I just filled out a short form, had a short introductory conversation and laid down. There was a really nice refreshing scent that permeated the space, For the short hour I was there I felt safe, taken care of, and came out refreshed. Not just that but I felt a hard to describe kind of better than I had before, kind of like life got lighter, less of a weight in my head and chest. I sought to feel more grounded and comfortable within my body and found I came out with that and so much more. The feeling stuck until the next session a week later where I got the same effect only compounded on the previous work. The same with the week after that in our final of a 3-set healing package I'd found on Groupon for a steal. I was ready for a change that I was already working towards and thought I was satisfied with the rate of progress. He was an amazing catalyst for it and I went off faster than expected. I was really disappointed with session -waste of time and money. It was not helpful at all. The room had a darkish aura and the so called alternative/treatment was ridiculous. The supposed reiki was ineffective as well as the foot reflexology. I had an hour appt and only received less than half time after attempting to fill out form and talking to him. I have been to several great alternative healers in NYC. Robert Salvit's website looks the part but would not recommend it. read more

I've been seeing Robert for the past year and a half and can't say enough good things. I originally found him on Groupon and had a Kabbalah session and was immediately hooked. I left his office feeling floaty and energized, but also very calm. Robert Yehosef Salvit is the Kabbalistic Reiki healer that no one knows about. He shifts your energy from the root, meaning if you've had a blockages for lifetimes and can't remove it, he does. A lot of people go to healers for a quick fix, but Robert Yehosef does more than that. Being in a wheelchair, I went to him to get stronger. He helped my muscles loosen yes. But he also kept telling me to stand up for myself and build my confidence. Soon, I was not letting people humiliate me anymore. And I felt better about myself. Purchased a reiki session via Groupon (which was most likely why I received less than kind treatment). Arrived at his office 45 minutes early to be prompt, his office was located behind a locked door with no bell, I called his phone 4 times and emailed him with no response. There was a phone in the hallway, yet he had no extension. I went downstairs to ask the doorman if he had an extension, he said "no". I sat awkwardly in the hallway with my son (who came along to be supportive) for about an hour and then I gave up and left. 15 minutes AFTER our appointment time and after I left, he calls and texts me to ask if I'm there. Here's the thing - If your office location is set up that discreetly, that should be explain to me prior to me showing up. And if you are sessions last a few minutes over, that should also be explained to me as well. I'm not psychic, and I came from Brooklyn all the way to Manhattan to play some sort of guessing game and essentially wasted half of my day for a session that never happened. When I explained this to him and I also told him that this situation gave me tremendous anxiety, which is why I needed the sessions in the first place, he showed extreme lack of care or empathy of the time I wasted due to his lack of communication or instructions. Maybe he doesn't realize that the average person wouldn't have been as gentle in their approach after such a tremendous hiccup on his end. But he's a healer? Aren't "healers" supposed to contain some care and empathy, at least for their clients? His email response was basically "Sorry. I was running late and I don't answer my phone during sessions. What do you want to do now?" Hmm - maybe you can give me my day back? My nearly 2 hour commute to and from in 90 degree weather during rush hour? Instead I gave him my best wishes and said I'd find another reiki healer. Hey, maybe he's a decent healer, but I'm questionable of anyone who lacks empathy because that's a sign of narcissism. Overall, Robert is a gifted healer. I have worked with him for a number of different ailments. In the space of healing, it is vital that you trust the person that you work with. I am typically apprehensive of most people in this space but I was recommended to Robert through a friend. I met Robert in a difficult time, probably the worst I've ever had, in a time when my life was at serious risk, on the board of collapse, having death as a possibility. Before having sessions with Robert i didn't believe in psychology, Reiki healing nor any psych or metaphysic related therapy.
