Best wings in town!! Wing night specials on Monday! So many ways to customize your flavors.

Cuban sandwich was greasy and big.

We got lemon pepper (amazing), mild, hot and honey BBQ. We got a variety of boneless and traditional wings. I thought the traditional wings were better then the boneless. Fresh Cut fries were delicious! Beanies is a nice neighborhood bar. Great place to watch the game or hangout with friends!

We stopped in at beanies because we heard they offer over 100 flavors of wings! The interior is…read moreclassic bar, the outside patio is very cute. We walked in and it is open seating, we sat at a high top in the bar area and the bartender/waitress was pretty sassy with us. I asked how the wing order process works, can I mix sauces etc. and I got a pretty flippant reply back from her. You have to buy them by the half dozen or dozen. I got the garlic Parmesan boneless wings and they were basically wings with a pool of butter poured over them with parmesean grated cheese sprinkled on top. My boyfriend got the old bay butter and his were also doused in melted butter with a hint of old bay on top. We were pretty unenthused as these wings tasted very standard to me. Drinks were nothing special and the fries and mozz sticks were the ordinary deep fried from frozen kind. Also there was the biggest slowest moving fly in there that would NOT leave us alone. Prices are cheap and the parking lot is tiny. It's cool to come and try interesting flavors of wings, but the food in my onion was nothing special.

This one is laid out better for a crowd, and it handled a standing-room-only event surprisingly well. Because I was with a big group, the usual service details didn't really apply, but the bar staff kept things moving. I didn't hear anyone complaining about drink waits beyond what you'd expect with a packed mixer where people are constantly circulating and the bar area is full of conversations. The staff stayed friendly and didn't seem bothered by the volume. What stood out most was how consistently the team was cleaning and clearing. Glasses and empties never piled up. Even in spots that weren't obvious from the bar, staff were coming through regularly and picking things up quickly. With that many people in the space, that level of attention was noticeable. The place stayed clean the whole time. It was loud, but that was the group, not the venue. Parking was easy since it's in a shopping center, and getting in and out was straightforward. I didn't try the food, but it's a chain, so I assume it's consistent with other locations. Overall, I wouldn't dissuade anyone from going, and I'd go back if I were in the area and in the mood for a drink or a casual sports-bar type meal.

Joy definitely was not the same as the one on Linglestown. We tried the Thanksgiving egg roll, which was very good and served with a side of gravy. It should also come with a side of cranberry sauce for that holiday "twang". One of us ordered the Cottage Pie, which was served hot. I ordered the build your own burger, which is a favorite of mine at the other location. I was vastly disappointed by this burger, which did not resemble the juicy mouth watering version I was used to. The atmosphere was fine and service friendly, but I don't see us returning to this location.

This was my 2nd time coming to Mad Chef!…read more The first time I came here was about 2 years ago (before doing yelp reviews). I was not very impressed. This time around I cannot complain! Their specials are all revolving around the Masters which was unique! We tried the Pimento, Fried Green Tomato, Chicken Sandwich (The Pimento Birdie). This was a delicious sandwich that just screams Georgia! We also tried the Madfather Chicken Sandwich! Pesto, Vodka Sauce, Mozzarella, this thing was outstanding! The fries are always a highlight here! We got the bucket (had a bigger group) and it came with 3 sauces. 1 tiny little knock on the fry bucket....the entire bucket was not filled with fries. The bottom of the fry bucket had about an inch or 2 of crinkled up paper..... All of the food was outstanding. The beer was good. Tons of space and seating. Very easy ordering process. Go up to the counter, tell them your table number, and your food arrives shortly! Prices are high here! Expect a larger number on your check if consuming both food and alcohol!

Maybe what I smelled upon walking inside Mad Chef, were hops; I'm unsure. There was a lingering, unpleasant scent (hay/old peanut shells, an earthy staleness). When my food arrived, the scent dissipated. I purposely took a picture of the fish, on my fried fish sandwich, to illustrate what $17 and some change, looks like - very thin. The fish fry was tasty, slightly undercooked, soft crusted and soft bun, fresh condiments and those "pickles" were stellar. They were the best part of my meal. I would seriously purchase a jar of those pickles. Was wary of how hot honey would mesh with a pepperoni pizza, but surprisingly, the sweet heat and the savoriness of the pepperonis, worked well together. The only miss and it's a pretty big "miss," was the paper thin, tasteless crust, acting only as a vehicle to hold the toppings. Suggest you improve the crust and then, you'll have a stellar pie. Loved the peach bread pudding with brown sugar ice cream, but once again, for the price; the portion was skimpy. Liked the touch of homemade whipped cream, but it was overly whipped (stiff and tasteless), making it actually, impalatable.
