Crab fries

First off, gameday atmosphere is awesome with Sunday Ticket and all the football games on! They have daily beer specials going on! Don't miss out! Service was great, we had a new employee who was training and she did fantastic! No issues and she was very friendly. Seems like a good addition to their staff. We got the chicken nachos, they are massive and are delicious. Worth the price in my opinion. We also got mild wings and tots. Always a go to move here. Can't go wrong with their wings. We got their version of crabfries. Very good, the cheese sauce was excellent.

This is our second time here but I couldn't remember what I had the first time - until I ordered the same thing again and realized why I had forgotten. The food here, to be blunt, is not good. I think if you're going to eat here to watch a game just stick with a burger. The cheese steak was terrible - tiny amount of meat so you're just eating mostly a chewy bun. There's no onions peppers, nothing. I also had ordered the onion soup because I was so chilled from being outside and it was so unbelievably salty I couldn't finish it, and I was thirsty all night from it. My daughter seemed to like her burger well enough, as did my husband. No comments were made saying wow this burger is amazing. The PJ's fries were crab fries knockoffs and were good. Our server was great though, so props to her. TVs are huge and easy to see if there's a game on, but there are better sports bars for sure.

Stopped in for dinner Sunday evening after taking care of some quick things for work. Hubby graciously chauffeured me about...anyway he's not too familiar with the area so I suggested we stop in Belmont as there are many different options. We came in PJ Whelihans and seated ourselves. Waitress, Cody, came over promptly to take our drink & app order. She was super friendly despite me being hangry (I did apologize). There are plenty of screens all around with a great variety of sports. We were in a far corner booth - we each could see all the events telecast from differing areas in the restaurant which was nice. Music wasn't too loud to have a conversation. I have been here when the restaurant is packed and it is overall very loud - tonight only the outside booths were full so rather quiet. Large variety of beer choices. Hubs went with Peroni. Fried pickle spears were good. Not too salty, pickle and batter were both crunchy - paired well with the ranch. I had the JP bacon burger, hubs went with fish and chips. My burger was cooked perfectly to order the maple ketchup was a bit too sweet for my liking but they didn't drown the burger in it. The burger was freshly made - not frozen it was really good. French fries were ok. The meal would have been so much better had they been fresh cut fries instead of standard frozen. But still ok crisp and hot. The fish and chips.....well in all honesty the fish was reminiscent of something out of the frozen Gorton's box - four pieces about 5 - 6 inches long deep fried. They were ok but slightly disappointing given my burger was really good and freshly made. His fries were the same as mine. We shared the peanut butter pie for dessert. It was drizzled with caramel and chocolate sauce. Slice was a bit small. Tasted good. Nice peanut butter flavor with chocolate base. Small bits of peanut butter cup sprinkled throughout. Overall decent time. Would go back.

Visited while in the area and enjoyed the laid back atmosphere and great menu selection- food and beer wise. Our waitress was amazing. She was friendly and very attentive. She made great suggestions and constantly checked our table. Party of 5, we all enjoyed what we ordered. I got the shrimp tacos, had a nice level of heat. Would recommend visiting here.

Food here was okay. I don't know if it was just my experience or what but everything here was just average. I had a great first time here, but my 2nd visit wasn't great. The crab sandwich had no real flavor and the wings I ordered were dry and not juicy. I don't visit Lancaster too often anymore but I'll try them again on my next visit .

We stopped by PJ Whelihan's while in Lancaster for a college soccer showcase. The atmosphere is great with flat screens everywhere you look. It has a really open feel and concept. The service was also good. We enjoyed everything that we had. I enjoyed some shrimp tacos, which were really tasty, but small. My wife had wedding soup and fries. My son had wings, which were the breaded kind and had a lot of flavor. Perfect for what we were looking for

Thanks to Bri and Jo and Ashley, we had the best experience. We will Deff be coming back!! Baja fish tacos are a huge hit, can't go wrong with the famous fries, i also had chili!! . Maybe add a small band to the patio Saturday nights or even beer flights !! Atmosphere was great, no matter where we sat we were able to see the games !! Love it here

My guy had the cheeseburger whilst I had the Welsh Rarebit and the Brussel sprouts, which were supposed to be small plates...but holy moly! I haven't had that tasty of a rarebit since the olde Yorktown Tavern ceased to exist. Very local but obviously very loved as you do need reservations. There is a cute outside patio but we ate at the bar with the seasoned veterans. Our waitress had the right amount of spice to add to this dining adventure. It was a dining experience, in a word, that was perfect! So much fun and so many great food choices. We cannot wait to come back!

Recommend reservations on the weekends No phone service at all. Public WiFi available Outdoor seating available Valet parking only Not a full bar- beer and cider only. I was excited for the food but unfortunately it was all pretty flavorless. I know British food is usually pretty bland but as someone who's lived in the UK, I know what to expect. Pretty disappointing. Weck Egg Roll- very crispy but not much flavor. Greasy. The creamy horseradish is good Bangers and mash- potatoes are good; fluffy and creamy. Sausages are good, savory and slightly sweet Shepards pie- weird flavor. The lamb changed the whole flavor. Sticky toffee pudding with ice cream- very good. Not overly sweet. The ice cream is a nice touch. Single stall gender neutral bdthrooms- kinda gross as a girl bc there's pee all over the floor by the toilet

The English Pub environment induces a relaxing and friendly vibe! The personality of the bartenders is great and friendly! Service is prompt even when it is busy. They have a nice beer selection to hit everyone's tastes. I didn't know until our recent visit that they have an amazing selection of bourbon! I'm not talking about a just a few top shelf labels, but multiple brands to choose from. On this visit I tried their "house" barrel select of the Heaven Hill and it was delicious, smooth and flavorful! The food is delicious. We've sampled their fish and chips (best around), sausage rolls, pretzel braid, and Sheppard's pie. Everything we have ordered has been very flavorful. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was very good and I could have eaten several servings. Overall, the Bulls Head Public House is quintessential smalltown pub, where all are welcome to stay and enjoy themselves.

The mash must have been made with turnip and potato as it was slightly sweet, onion gravy was spot on as were the carrots. The spouse went with the quesadilla. she stated the steak was really good. Ice tea for both of us . unexpectedly water was available for any one from a tap near the doors. Plastic cups, no purchase needed. Great idea! We shall return, nice place and good food is hard get any more. $42.30 plus tip we always tip at 20% ( or the spouse gets testy.) but the server / cleaner didn't get the idea it was for her, I actually had to say " this is a tip, for you!
