The overall vibe feels comfortable and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful, even if things tend to move at a slightly more relaxed pace than at some of the other locations. Out of all the Regal theaters in the area, this is the one where I've had the best luck with food. If I ask for a specific item, they usually have it available, which hasn't always been the case elsewhere. They also do a great job with their movie selection, showing a wide range of flicks from the blockbusters to foreign movies, and the occasional smaller release. I do wish they had the small tables like the Elmwood Regal and that the location was a bit closer to me, but that's really just nitpicking. Overall, I've had consistently positive experiences here. It's a theater I'm always happy to visit.

Went to The Screening Room for the last time, for now…read more We have been going here for many years to watch old movies on the big sreen in a small comfortable setting. We followed them from their previous location and hope to follow them if they reopen in another location. We wish the owners and staff well into the future. Unfortunately, the mall management did not renew their lease because it is closing to become another empty giant graveyard in the Town of Amherst, NY. The town is notorious for allowing developers destroy small business with no legitimate reason or near future plans other than to create humongous empty buildings.

Only two-thirds of the video was on screen. I got up and mentioned to a kid at the concessions stand who appeared to go up to the booth. However, over 10 minutes went by, nothing was done and everyone sat there "hoping" the actual movie wasn't going to be that way. When it was, we were moved to another theater with a lot fewer seats. When I mentioned there might not be enough seats I was told, "There are. There are 24 total." He was right but it was going to tough for groups to still sit together as the room was barely the size of a screening room in a fancy house. Fully half of the theater was less than 10' from the screen that was half the size of what we started with. I didn't feel the inconvenience was MY fault, so I just asked for my money back. Up front, no one blames the kids that got thrown out into the public because I didn't see a manager there, at least not one that identified themselves. Aside from that, the theaters have always been clean when I go, more importantly, the restrooms are too. What I love, love is that there are recliner seats in every stadium and the distance apart from the back and front seats is PERFECT! I'm one of those people that doesn't like people kicking my seat. I don't want to feel like someone else is right on top of me and these seats are great. They're also numbered so for blockbusters, you should totally use their app and reserve your seats. For those who want to relax with a beer or wine, they have that too. When you walk in, go straight to the register for your tickets and food. I think it would be cooler if there was a register dedicated to "tickets only" instead of also taking peoples food order (you know, for people not buying popcorn and drinks) but I understand they're trying to make use of every register and not overstaff to save money, it's all cool. I'm just thankful there's still a person doing the job and not a robot or Kiosk that doesn't work. Lol Lastly, I also like the location of this theater, it's in its own area so there's no other traffic incoming from stores or restaurants, it's just sitting there by itself.
