Because you can see a movie for $2.50 Monday-Thursday and only $3.00 Friday-Sunday. Don't get me wrong, it's nothing special when you walk through the front door but it has everything you could possibly need here to enjoy a movie, including overpriced popcorn and pop! (Which is 50% on Tuesdays). The actual theater itself was extremely comfortable thanks to the big recliners and the fact that no matter where you sit, you will have an an awesome seat. Overall, this is an incredible bargain compared to other theaters. You may not be seeing the movies that just came out a week ago, but you'll get some that have been out a few weeks or might just about to get a blu-ray release. I highly recommend checking this place out!

The overall vibe feels comfortable and welcoming. The staff is friendly and helpful, even if things tend to move at a slightly more relaxed pace than at some of the other locations. Out of all the Regal theaters in the area, this is the one where I've had the best luck with food. If I ask for a specific item, they usually have it available, which hasn't always been the case elsewhere. They also do a great job with their movie selection, showing a wide range of flicks from the blockbusters to foreign movies, and the occasional smaller release. I do wish they had the small tables like the Elmwood Regal and that the location was a bit closer to me, but that's really just nitpicking. Overall, I've had consistently positive experiences here. It's a theater I'm always happy to visit.

Went to The Screening Room for the last time, for now…read more We have been going here for many years to watch old movies on the big sreen in a small comfortable setting. We followed them from their previous location and hope to follow them if they reopen in another location. We wish the owners and staff well into the future. Unfortunately, the mall management did not renew their lease because it is closing to become another empty giant graveyard in the Town of Amherst, NY. The town is notorious for allowing developers destroy small business with no legitimate reason or near future plans other than to create humongous empty buildings.

We've been a fan of this venue for years. Remember the Nik Wallenda walk across Niagara Falls in 2012? Well we watched it live on the big screen after the showing of the Marilyn Monroe movie Niagara. They have many movie selections playing at once. Good variety of concessions. Amazing soda selections with the customizable soda machine. Staff: Great! Very friendly 99% of the time and they keep everything, but the bathrooms clean. Theaters: Great! Kept clean, reclining and warming chairs with cup holders, awesome sound system, and great view from any seat. Cons: The bathrooms need cleaned far more often. They don't salt or butter your popcorn for you. That's self serve which sucks if you have a big bucket because it's impossible to get salt and butter everywhere on your own.

The popcorn and snacks were great and I like how the drink machine was self-serve so I could mix up a cold drink to my liking.
