Vanilla Ice Cream Complimentary Slice of Birthday Cake
    Anna S.

On a recent trip to California to celebrate a birthday, my Aunt & I had a fabulous meal at Joy Asian Cuisine. We were greeted with smiles & seated promptly. Several patrons were enjoying their meal as well as a few people who sat at the bar having drinks. Our server was very polite and attentive. She served our drinks and did not push us to order until we were ready. The two appetizers we chose were delicious. The pancake had just the right amount of kick to it. The chutney complimented it very nicely. The spring rolls were crispy and flavorful. Not greasy nor dry. When duck is available on a menu, I always order it. Duck is one of my favorite dishes. I was not disappointed. The portion size was ample, enough to make a meal for the following day. The duck was accompanied by an orange glaze and a side of rice. My Aunt thoroughly enjoyed the crispy shrimp which also came on a bed of rice. We ordered the garlic spinach to share. The one disappointment was that green tea ice cream was not available. My Aunt opted for vanilla ice cream. A slice of white cake was offered complimentary as a birthday treat. I sipped on a glass of Merlot. Overall we had a very pleasant and relaxing evening. I highly recommend JOY Asian Cuisine and look forward to experiencing another unique meal.

A restaurant serving delicious Asian cuisine at Fantasy Springs Casino. This past Friday evening, we were craving Asian food after an outdoor music concert at Fantasy. At first, I was thinking Chinese noodles and egg rolls. We enter through the wide entrance doors and spot unoccupied stools at the front bar. We snag them. At the bar, Jose greeted us with a smile, and took our drinks order. The cozy bar serves wine, liquor, and beer. We were starving so our food order was taken pronto. Our food items were ready in less than 15 minutes. I enjoyed the Filipino pancit noodles with chicken and veggies. The pancit noodles were delicious. I had not eaten pancit in over a decade. So, this dish was a special treat for me. We also shared an order of fried spring rolls, which were also quite good. A big applause to Jose for taking good care of us at the bar area. JOY Asian has an extensive menu serving your favorite Asian dishes from the Far East. Eat there!

It was my first time visiting Joy Asian Cuisine, and I was very impressed. The customer service was professional, and the food was absolutely delicious. The portion sizes were generous and more than enough. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and look forward to returning.

Over the weekend I went to a concert at Fantasy Springs Casino, then had dinner at Joy within the casino itself. The menu is hugeeeee with dishes from various Asian backgrounds. - Thai, Korean, Chinese, Filipino, Viet, dim sum - so many options and so little stomach space. My friend and I shared the Beijing Beef ($22) which was a good sized portion, with good flavor. Tons of beef in the dish! My friend also had the Noodle Soup and reported being happy with it. Those chocolate cheesecake doughnuts sound so good but I was fullll~ It's a cute restaurant retreat for some respite inside of a busy casino. We liked our food, staff was lovely the entire time, overall great restaurant to dine at while at the casino or in Indio!

Okay, the best thing about this place is they have a bar that you can sit at and order food. The last thing I wanted to do was to go sit in a Chinese restaurant in a casino while we're waiting for our event to kick off. The food was average to average plus the server/ bartender was extremely nice and helpful. However the kitchen was woefully unprepared for preparing the food and getting it out in a timely fashion. Typically in a Chinese restaurant you order all your food and things just start flying out of the kitchen in no particular order. In this case it was a long slog to receive our very simple orders. Nevertheless, it hit the spot and we were on our way.

JOY is conveniently located at the entrance of Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, making it the perfect spot to refuel after hitting the slots. Recognized as the "Best Asian Restaurant in the Coachella Valley" by OpenTable, I wanted to see what the hype was all about. The menu is huge, featuring a wide variety of Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Thai dishes. You absolutely have to try their Sichuan chicken wings--crispy, packed with flavor, and totally addictive. Another dish you won't want to miss is the seabass with black bean sauce. Trust me, you'll love it! But the true star of the meal was the Peking duck. Cooked to perfection, with crispy, golden skin on the outside and tender, juicy meat on the inside, it was everything you'd want in a classic Peking duck. It was served with all the traditional fixings--pancakes, hoisin sauce, and fresh scallions--which added layers of flavor and texture to each bite. If you're planning to visit, I highly recommend making a reservation because this place fills up quickly!

Not very impressed with the atmosphere or food here. The menu had many choices. But overall felt the quality was subpar. Felt like an overpriced Panda Express experience. What's worst is the service is extremely slow. Waiters and waitresses embraced the rude Asian servers mentality well. When you try to flag them down they'd look the other way. Would not recommend

We had an absolutely fabulous dining experience at Joy Asian cuisine inside Fantasy Springs Casino. The food was outstanding, but what truly set the evening apart was the service from our waiter Tony and his assistant Chad. From the moment we sat down, we were treated to five Star Service. Both Tony and Chad are outgoing, attentive and genuinely eager to make sure everything is perfect. They went above and beyond helping us select our dishes and making us feel welcome. We started with the spicy cucumbers and beef sauté appetizers, both packed with flavor. For our main course we enjoyed the fried red snapper and a delicious bok choy mixed vegetable dish. Every bite was excellent, but the highlight of the night was without question the personalities and professionalism of Tony and Chad. Fantastic food, impeccable service, and a warm, memorable experience, this was easily a five star night. Highly recommend asking for Tony Chad when you visit

Perfect for a couple like my husband & I, where he always prefers American food but I always want rice. Lots of parking. Not the prettiest inside, but everything was clean & the staff were very friendly. Although the boy at the register kept getting our order wrong. My hubby asked for the large 16" Philly, and even clarified twice, but was charged & given the small 8" one instead. He was also bummed that his Philly didn't come with fries, we thought it came with it since it wasn't clarified on the menu nor did the boy taking our order asked if we wanted fries with it. Nevertheless, my husband loved his Philly cheesesteak. Also, none of us asked for lumpia, but it was added to our order. It was a nice mistake tho because the pork lumpia was crispy & delicious. I also ordered both the lechon kawali & the tapsilog. The tapas in the tapsilog was delicious & had the perfect flavor. The lechon kawali could have been a little crisper, but my husband enjoyed that as well. We would definitely come back next time we're in town & craving Filipino & cheesesteaks.

I've had "instant" noodles that took longer than the 5 minutes it takes to get my food here. It's the ultimate win for anyone who is perpetually hangry. The "Sister" Vibes The secret sauce isn't just in the bottle--it's Veronica. Walking in doesn't feel like walking into a franchise; it feels like walking into your sister's house for lunch. The customer service is so warm and genuine that I half expect her to ask me why I haven't called our mom lately. Whether you're calling it in or strolling through the door, the service is consistently top-tier. Cleanliness is Next to... This Place I've been in "fine dining" establishments that aren't as tidy as this spot. The dining area and restrooms are immaculate. You could practically eat your chicken bowl off the floor (though I'd recommend using a table, because they have plenty of those, and they're actually clean). The Verdict: If you want amazing food, lightning-fast speed, and a vibe that makes you feel like family, this is the Indio go-to. Can't go wrong with the Flame Broiler. 10/10, would bowl again.
