They were supposed to come on Friday between 12 and 3. When no one came by 2:45, I called. The woman who answered called me back after she spoke with the technician. He got delayed at prior service call and wouldn't be able to come to me after all and they wouldn't be able to come until Monday. It is 100 degrees upstairs! I told her that their website says they work 24/7 and asked if they could send someone tonight. She said that I wasn't entitled to that service because I'm a new customer! Well, guess what? I'm a former customer now! PS - 15 minutes after I hung up I got a recommendation from another friend. I called and a technician will be at my house in a couple of hours. THAT's how you get new business!

We've been working with AHC for many years, and I truly can't say enough good things about them…read more Their technicians are incredibly knowledgeable, and everyone in the office is consistently responsive and helpful. From the very first visit, this team has proven they know exactly what they're doing. I remember a…read moreQ&A session between my husband and the company and from there, their focus shifted to identifying the root cause of a sulfur/rotten egg smell coming from every hot water faucet in our new home. They conducted a thorough investigation, diagnosed the underlying issue and recommended a treatment plan tailored to fully eliminate the odor. Since June '23, their technicians have been on point- responsive, knowledgeable and consistent. We also decided to invest in a specialized water filtration system as part of a more thorough solution, not just for odor elimination, but for long-term peace of mind and health reasons. I mean...who would want to bathe in, brush teeth and cook with water that has a fart smell??? David came out on a Thursday back in '23 for a follow-up and took the time to inspect everything thoroughly and confirm that the new system- from the pipes to the additional components installed earlier that summer were operating properly. By late August of that year, we saw major progress and the sulfur smell was completely gone. We signed up for a maintenance plan because we want continued oversight to ensure everything stays in excellent condition. The service has been outstanding and the price goes hand in hand with the tremendous work these guys do. David's communication was especially appreciated- he'd keep my husband informed by text with ETA updates, which is exactly the kind of service we value. Til this day, our water is perfect!

Buyer Beware: Dishonest, Unprofessional, and Unreliable…read more We had a very troubling experience with John Kulk of Kulk's Plumbing and his employees. After diagnosing an issue as a contractor error, John Kulk later changed his story to the contractor, claiming it was our fault, which caused significant confusion and delays. John Kulk then suggested we file a claim with our homeowners insurance to correct the negligence of the contractor. The next day, the contractor stated in writing that he had "conferred" with John Kulk and repeated the same question, "perhaps that could go through your homeowners' insurance??" During the service, the atmosphere was uncomfortable. John Kulk said he can't find qualified workers and complained his employees frequently argue in front of customers. We previously had to ban John Kulk's employees from our home due to their unprofessional behavior. We also faced major reliability issues; snow removal was promised but denied immediately when the first snow storm arrived. Given the overpricing and lack of professional conduct, the quality of service here has significantly declined. We do not feel comfortable having John Kulk's Plumbing in our home again. We cannot recommend this business. All statements above are true, verifiable, and protected under the Consumer Review Fairness Act. Not only did HWS staff damage appliances and countertops, they created rework for other service providers. And, the owner wasn't nice about it. At all. Customers are afraid to talk to him. The pump finally gave out from months and months of short cycling (pressure tank broke and we didn't replace it). I called and left 2 messages with AAA American Pump. Jim called me back within a couple of hours. They were completely booked for the next 2 weeks... but since it was an emergency Jim was able to come at 7:30am the next day and replaced the well pump and pressure tank. We had running water by 10am on Monday. They were quick, professional, and followed all Covid protocols. I was amazed to see Sara pulling up 200ft of hose and wires to get to the pump. Pretty impressive back and biceps workout! Price was high-ish but fair, no complaints here especially on how fast they were able to get us all fixed. Less than 24 hrs from original call. Overall, very happy. They really were life savers.
