I can't say enough good things about this store- passing by, it doesn't look like much, but the inside is SO CLEAN and gorgeous. The manager answered my questions about the company (I'd never heard of it) and I ended up walking out with two pairs of shoes, totally hassle-free.

Out for dinner - We grabbed our check, settled up, and jumped in the car. We arrived at Famous Footwear at 8:52 PM. They had no customers when I entered the door, asking if I was "too late to shop quickly?". The young man and young lady that were working were clearly setting all things right and tidy to close. They could have (understandably) said "yes ma'am...We're about to close." But, they said "Welcome in. You can shop. We're open." I thanked them and promised to hurry. They reassured me that I was welcome to shop until I found what I needed. I didn't finish until 9:15. The two were quick to answer questions and super polite. I was prepared to grab the first black shoe that would serve my purpose, but found a more ideal white shoe, because of their graciousness. They saved my shoe image for Sunday! I give these two clerks (I wish I had gotten their names!) two thumbs up and FIVE STARS! They were just...WOW!
