As I continued browsing, I found two pairs of loafers I really liked and went to look for the male salesperson who had initially helped me. While he was engaged in a discussion with another staff member, Shannon noticed me and kindly stepped in to assist. She was friendly, attentive, down-to-earth, had a great attitude, and made me feel like a valued customer right away. I showed her the shoes I wanted, and she took it from there with professionalism and a smile. It turns out my feet have actually shrunk -- I now need a half size smaller! Shannon went to the back to get another size for me. In the meantime, I decided to try on the first pair (the ones I thought were too small), and to my surprise, they fit perfectly. When Shannon returned with the smaller size loafers, they fit well but slipped off my heel. Without missing a beat, she added another layer to the insole, and just like that -- they fit perfectly too! Sassy Shannon turned my shopping trip into a fantastic experience. I was there with my daughter today, she has wide feet and finding shoes for homecoming last year was so difficult, we couldn't find them anywhere--not even DSW. We decided to look anyway before trying to order something online. I am pleased to say they had really cute prom shoes in wide width! Not only that, they had a few options, and they didn't charge extra for them. They always have a few really cute options in clearance for my size, which is nice since I wear a super basic 8.5M and those are usually sold out. The cashier was pleasant, and was able to relate to my daughter's vision for her prom outfit, which was cool.

Both times that I have in this store the staff were available, friendly, and helpful. This time was my wife's first visit. In just one time, she has said that she wants to become a loyal customer. As I expected, she was immediately impressed with the people working there. And then there is the high quality stuff that they sell. Admittedly, they don't have as large of a selection as you might want but they have just just what I was looking for. And they have events, teach classes, etc in the community room of their store. I have been running/jogging for 40 years so I had a pretty solid idea of my shoe size and what I needed but I went through the fitting process with Joan. She was very thorough and attentive to the process. Admittedly her sizing result were pretty much what I expected but this was the first time that I had that done that I thought the person doing it really knew what they were doing and I do learn that my left foot is somewhat smaller than my right.
