Have been an exclusive customer with Edgewater for 3 years. Up until about 4 mths ago, highly…read moreprofessional and responsible. Now unfortunately the service is unreliable and the back off staff is inconsiderate and rude. Have been dealing with a gas heater repair from early January. Despite multiple calls to check on the status of the part which were all met with "we do not view tell the mail", I come to find out the replacement part sitting at another facility for weeks. No apology but simply an under-experienced heater tech replacing the so called broken part. Two days later the pool was still not getting warm and the heater tech came back out and told us that "we didn't know how to run the equipment." The rude nature of the discourse caused to to place several calls to Colton and his "assistant" with no call backs. We are on 2nd messages to Colton directly and 3 messages to Kat with not so much as an email. We have very luckily found Pool Troopers and they diagnosed the problem and had the heater fixed in 2 days. The pictures of the broken part is attached. Edgewater charges for incomplete repair service to keep ratcheting up home calls. Be very careful how much they charge. We are filing a complaint to the BBB and Collier County to make sure no one else gets the run around.

Worst customer service ever. They try and upcharge for everything, I asked technician why my pool…read morewas so high and he said due to rain. Then i get a $2000 water bill because auto fill broke. I was working with water company to prove i was addressing and wouldnt submit scope of repairs just an estimate with scope of fix auto fill. They charged a fortune for a substandard "fix" that wasnt anything like what i had originally. Before had a valve sticking that they said needed to be replaced for ~$700 and i found exact valve on Amaazon for $65. They used to have a great tech but he retired and the owner and staff are the worst possible. Do not use unless you like extremely costly service and terrible communications. Jim McDonnell

I would see the technician walk back to the pool empty handed most of the time . come back in five minutes and take off. Next I pleaded and paid more for better service/ chemicals whatever, their techs were just simply not capable of testing the pool and keeping it maintained properly. I had to clean filters myself . My experience was not good at all. BTW, I was adding chemicals behind the techs, they very well may be keeping the chemicals and doing some other work with them, that's not my business. What is my business is how they maintained the pool. Would not recommend them at all.
