He scheduled an appointment right away to come take a look at the work we needed to get done and he also gave us options at different price point which was amazing. The day of service, his crew came bright and early and got to work. Let me tell you, they were amazingly fast and accurate. The trees we had to were 50-60 feet and they had it cut and cleaned up in a jiffy. Once all was finished, they cleaned up a he mess and even picked up all the leaves that had fallen from the days before. Definitely recommending them to anyone looking for landscaping work. You won't be disappointed!

I contacted two other local tree services (one just a few blocks from our home) and neither bothered to call us. The Avina estimate was very reasonable and we scheduled them to top and prune an arbequina olive, a pomegranate, two dwarf orange trees and a Mediterranean palm. They did an outstanding job, and they also remediated our back and side yards that had become overgrown with unwanted grass thanks to the recent rains. Now we're back to bare ground, ready to rototill and level and cover with weed barrier and begin stocking the yard with container fruit trees and other edibles. Fidel and his crew showed up at 8am and worked almost non-stop until after 5pm, cleaned everything up and left our trees and yards looking 110% better than they have in years. If you need expert fine pruning of your fruit trees and other trees, don't bother to call any other service but Avina Tree Service . . . you'll just be wasting your valuable time. We cannot recommend Avina Tree Service more highly than this! You won't be sorry or pay too much!

I told him I wanted my stairs in my walkway, demoed and new curbing around the plants with all new plants and a side wall stuccoed. I received an email with the estimate from Jose. I was able to contact Jose and Jesus regularly. Jose and his workers started on Monday, February 23 and completed the job on Friday, February 27, including the addition of a wrought iron handrail and new Rainbird control for my existing sprinkler system. The team worked quickly and efficiently and cleaned up at the end of each day. Jesus answered my many questions with patience. They did a great job. I highly recommend JJL landscaping for your landscaping and concrete needs.

No one is perfect, but my favorite thing about them is that when they make a mistake or there is an issue at hand, they handle it very well. This has been especially true since 2018 when the son, Matt, took over the business from his dad. It's improved notably on the "customer service" aspect of things. As far as the actual gardening, I've yet to ask for anything they couldn't do. All pricing is very reasonable and expected and I've personally had no issues. They are flexible on scheduling and have no problem when I increase or decrease my service frequency throughout the year to match the season. I definitely recommend their service and look forward to continuing to work with them.
