Decided to get a slice of pizza before we actually walked the beach. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Customer service was great. Once you order, you have a seat, and they will bring it out to you about 8 min later. Although I ordered the combo, somehow I got just the pepperoni. But the pizza was fire! The crust was perfect the sauce was perfect! When I'm in this area I will come back and get a slice or 2. The vibe was nothing special, but it's a pizza place.

My roomie and I go for walks a lot and passed this spot. We decided to stop in for dinner. Our waitress was nice, but the food took forever to come out. I got the baked ziti special, and the sauce had a weird taste. Everything else was fine though.

Joseph's pizza is in an awesome location and serves up a great ambience for a quick slice after the beach. I really wanted to like it here but the service was quite slow and I had a really bad stomach ache after my meal (happened again when I tried my leftovers). Got the buffalo chicken calzone and it was pretty good. Baked ziti was definitely not my favorite.

This cozy pizza shop is a staple in town. The inside feels nostalgic almost since it's not modernized like most restaurants these days. They have many Italian dishes for a fair price. This is definitely the perfect stop for a family on vacation looking for a budget friendly meal, especially since it's across the street from the hotel & they offer a 10% discount for hotel patrons to go orders. I called in a few to go orders this weekend. Pepperoni pizza is my go to. The pizza here isn't consistent so that would be my main critique.

It was amazingly busier on Saturday afternoon and they only have 1 person working. We got 2 slices pizza; cheese, pepperoni, and 2 local mango beers. Seems they have lots of sandwiches, salads, desserts and signature pizzas as well. We weren't in hurry so when our pizza took longer time from the counter we understand. And ohh btw the restroom lack of soap, but it's our fault we should came earlier!

My husband and I went here for date night out on the town. We decided we were both craving pizza and bear and decided to stop by and grab a bite to eat. We ordered a pitcher of Kona Beer and a ton of appetizers: the garlic knots, cheeses garlic bread and mozzarella sticks. We couldn't decide which appetizer to get so we got them all. They were all delicious. My husband ordered a specialty bbq chicken pizza thin crust pizza that was twice baked and added jalapeños. I ordered a build your own fettuccini pasta with Alfredo sauce. Everything was delicious and mouthwatering. Definitely recommend and will be back for more date nights! They also have brunch so make come back this weekend to check out their brunch specials!

NOTE: I feel bad for the 2 stars. They are super nice people and wotk hard to ensure you have a great time. However, my reviews are what I experience and based upon my high standards. (I've never opened a review like this... being almost apologetic for a low score - but I love their energy and customer matters most attitude!) 30 min for a whole pie, By the slice 12 min. I had 2 by the slice Pepperoni - added garlic, onion, sun dried tomato. 12 min and ready, but extra cheese on top only melted 75%. Great med crust - crunchy and one of my favorites. Real fresh garlic, but sun dried tomatoes not sweet and hard to distinguish in a bite - except by texture. The sauce has weak tomato profile. Overall has a strange slight sour taste - not pleasant. Atmosphere - Cozy , 8-10 tables. Staff could not have been nicer! Work really hard and keep a smile and niceness towards the customers. Sadly, all the other spots in the block were much busier. I hope things improve because I like them. (And I NEVER give a nice low score review!)

I was scrolling through Instagram and I came across pictures of this restaurant and the pizza looked so good I had to stop in. It lived up to the pictures and was very delicious. The sauce was flavored well, the cheese was melty, and the pepperoni was nice and crisp. I will say the crust could have done with a little more flavor but overall it was a great slice. We also got the Cajun ranch wings which were cooked well and the sauce was tasty. I think the garlic bread and garlic knots were good but I would have preferred them to be a little bit saltier (maybe some more butter?). Overall the service was great (Shout out to Tara!) and I'll definitely be back in the future!

    Soggy inedible pizza

Soggy gross pizza. Staff lacks basic manners. Over crowded. Check your order to ensure it's complete. They don't care at all. It used to be good. I've been trying to dry my pizza in the air frier for 20 minutes.

After 3 nights camping , 8 cheeseburgers, a dozen Hotdogs , 3 bags of chips, a handle of Stoli Vodka, 2 1/2 packs of Camel's and 9 million Noseeum bites at Long Point Park in Vero Beach all I wanted was a hot pizza pie to bring me back to city life. I knew fate and time would fall in my favor and deliver me unto the long awaited and highly overdue first visit to Joseph's Pizza at Atlantic Beach. Habib family owned and operated for over 60 years the Atlantic Beach location was opened in 2004 in honor and memoriam for the family patriarch who passed some years ago. Perfectly located facing East on Ocean Blvd at the origin of Atlantic Blvd in Atlantic Beach between Ragtime and Salumeria. An open dining area with about 8 tables with additional seating outside on the sidewalk, perfect for people watching . On the wall were chalked out daily specials. I took advantage of the $14 1-topping Large, the $10 Spaghetti and Meatballs and to my elation the $12 Mufaletta w! Fries. My server Sydney was very pleasant and attentive and kept busy refilling my drink, serving other guests in the restaurant and answering the phone for takeout. It was 3:30 so midday just before shift change. My food came out in a steaming parade of cheese and sauce and zesty meats rolled and cured. The pizza is classic hand-tossed, not New York, Chicago or Detroit style. Similar I would say to Moon River. Their crust is house made and was firm and crisp enough to handle the generous amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni without collapsing. It took just one bite to appreciate all the previous reviews they've received. I was instantly impressed. The Mufalletta is a favorite sandwich of mine. It is a classic New Orleans style Italian made with an Olive Tapenade/Salad. Their's includes Ham, Genoa salami, mortadella, pastrami and provolone, topped with homemade chopped olive dressing. It was served on a round seeded bun and cut in quarters, similar to Jason's Deli. The taste was signature Muffaletta in every way! I couldn't resist ordering their French Fries. For me fries are always a good barometer of the overall restaurant experience. Joseph's fries were terrific, hand-cut style and crispy with almost the flavor/seasoning of a curly fry. The Spaghetti and Meatballs was almost intimidating. The bowl of pasta was huge with two massive meatballs covered in Marinara. The sauce was perfectly balanced and authentic and the meatballs were made with love, the most important ingredient Finally I indulged in a piece of Canoli to-go as I had to race out of there before my parking expired(Only knock on my whole experience) Thank you Bobby Farah and Joey Gabriel for always recommending this joint. I wish I hadn't waited so long to come and experience this Atlantic Beach staple. But I believe timing is everything and this visit was exactly what I needed exactly when I needed to wrap up a very eventful birthday gauntlet of celebrations. I deserved it and so do you so go visit my friends at the beach and treat yourself to an oceanside meal the whole family will love -- eating lunch with Susie Bateh at Joseph's Pizza Atlantic Beach.

The service here is great; everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The pizza itself is pretty average though. We ordered three slices to go, and it tasted like it had been reheated several times. The crust was a little chewy and the cheese didn't have that gooey melted goodness you want to see in a slice of pizza. Maybe we would have enjoyed it more if we came earlier in the day for a slice.

One slice is definitely big enough to fill you up! Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. A classic staple to eat at the beach and definitely a quick and easy bite. The pizza itself has amazing breading and crust that is light and airy. We tried the pepperoni and the classic. Both were delicious.

We really enjoyed the brick oven flat pies at Joseph's! Despite it being about 100 degrees outside when we went and not feeling super hungry when I arrived, the pizza was still delicious and filling. The service was friendly and quick, and the restaurant had plenty of seating and a great vibe. It's right off of the beach which is great, and an overall great spot to grab a slice or split a pie!

The tables are large and they stack the pizzas on a serving rack, so there is plenty of space to dig in. The pepperonis were very good and our kid ate it all up. He had three pieces to refuel from all the running around by the beach. The crust was crispy and flakey and the slice held up well. It is new york style without a soft center. I opted for the Jordan Ann, it has a white pizza base if that is your jam. I wanted all the veggie and peppers with my pizza and I liked it very much. The slice was able to hold it all together. Lots of cheese. Only thing to note was the pepperoni was all-beef pepperoni. Neither of us noticed this on the menu. This Neptune Beach pizza outlet has a great location and some neat things you learn later that you didn't expect. My honey had eaten here in the past but now it was my turn to check it out. Though I once managed a Domino's Pizza shop years ago, I still love pizza and I try to not be too picky but do appreciate the uniqueness of each individual ma and pa pizza shop or brand name. Al's has a few stores in town. However, this is the only one that has a wood-fired stone oven - and it makes a HUGE difference in the taste and quality of the pizza. We got the deluxe, which has all the basics you'd expect, like pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, onions, etc. The marinara sauce underneath and the cheese were supreme! However, the crust was the star of the show. It was the best (by far) in-shop crust I've ever tasted. It was baked perfectly and had a beautiful crispness underneath the topping that really enhanced this pie! I could eat it again and again for sure! The lasagna was a single order split in two so we each could have our own serving. It was a tomatoey marinara sauce (and lots of it) with the lasagna - cheese lovers will appreciate it too. A great compliment to the pizza itself. Also, the salad that came with the pizza was balanced, filled with fresh and colorful lettuce, tomatoes, and other usual toppings. The balsamic vinaigrette dressing was very good as well. It wasn't very busy during our visit, but people were filtering in and out picking up carry out orders. The shop is clean, well-organized, with a nice variety of seating. I love the outdoor patio and plan to eat out there next time I go when the weather is cooler. It has a nice canopy and just seems to be an enjoyable spot to sit for a meal. Our server, Sommer, was courteous and took good care of us during the visit. I appreciate the general manager, Brittany, for sharing some details about Al's Pizza, especially about the lumbered wall! No! The lumber in this wall is not saved to burn up in the wood-fired oven! It's actually wood from fallen trees that fell during Hurricane Matthew in 2016. Matthew was the worst storm of the season that year and created a significant amount of damage in JAX before doing its worst damage in the Carolinas. She also said that for a period of time this wood harbored bees that would show themselves around the shop, but that's not the case anymore. Well, funny thing I forgot to tell her is, that while I was outside shooting pictures of the building, a bee suddenly showed up and began to pester me!! So, I would tell Brittany, they appear to be around still! Well, in the end it was a very satisfying first visit to this restaurant. Yes, it is one I greatly look forward to doing again! Since they are on the smaller size, we decided to get three and planning to take home some leftovers. My favorite by far was the Pancetta Garlic pizza. At the beginning I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of garlic, but damn was I wrong. The garlic was cooked to perfection and literally melted in your mouth. I don't think I've ever seen a similar pizza anywhere else, and made it even more surprising. Frankly the other two we had were also very delicious, but I truly give it the top spot to the prosciutto garlic. Last but not least, I like that they had THC on the menu.
