    Cabbage Rolls with Baked Potato
    Spike S.

Reviewed May 30, 2019 No health score available The iconic Joseph's in the heart of oil country! The last time I ate here was 35 years ago. The name hasn't changed even though the owners have. The inside of the restaurant and the menu is still pretty close to how they were back then. They have always been known for their steaks, smoked meats and Lebanese style sides and appetizers. I will be back to try the steaks, but for this visit I wanted the cabbage rolls and the tabouly (tabbouleh). The cabbage roll special comes with two cabbage rolls, a choice of salad (slaw or tabouly), a choice of potatoes and a dinner roll. The cabbage rolls were filled with pleasantly seasoned lean ground beef and rice. The tabouly was made from Joseph's original recipe. It was a tasty combination of bulgur wheat, parsley, tomatoes with oil and lemon. Very good! Most folks having lunch there were having one of the steaks, so they are still a big draw. On my first trip to Drumright, I ended up coming here with a group of friends. We had quite a large group and as expected had to wait to be seated. Given the size of our group, I felt that we were seated in an adequate amount of time. The lights on the inside were dimmed to help set the ambience. All of the food was really good. There was something there called tabouly, which I had never heard of, but it was a hit with everyone in the group who ordered it. Also, The Bigfoot is appropriately named as it is a really good sized burger. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered and left feeling pretty full on the trip back. There is just something about those single name steakhouses and Joseph's did not disappoint!

Pretty good. The taubuli was great. Fresh roll and hand breaded chicken fry. Green beans were seasoned perfect. Mashed potatoes were real. I like that they serve cracker and butter with your meal.

Hummus and Tabouli, also served with a cabbage roll, BBQ bologna and spareribs.

Great shrimp and tabouli. Best service. My husband's sirloin steak was one of the best he's ate in a long time.

This is one of our family favorites. It's in the middle of nowhere. Drumright, Ok. Specialty signature steaks. Always on point.

The…read morefood came out so fresh and hot that I could not eat as fast as I wanted to but no complaints there. Since it was my first time being able to get a daiquiri I took the chance and got a mango daiquiri. It had me spinning after a few sips but it was a perfect match with the food. The server was so polite and offered great alternatives if you wandered about mixing and matching menu items. My food ended up taking a while so they gave me an extra piece of fish and let's just say that I was certainly pleased with that gesture. I didn't eat it all In one setting, so I was able to take some home and actually have lunch the next day. The place was such a relaxed space and easy spot to consume your food. It wasn't too cold in there and it wasn't too noisy. I will surely return.

I ordered the double catch combo with extra eggs, seasoned with Old Bay and lemon pepper, and while…read moreI did have some thoughts on portion size, the flavor itself was very good. The shrimp were tender and well seasoned, though not quite what I would consider jumbo. The snow crab legs werenot as plentiful as I'd prefer based on the description, but the texture was right where it needed to be. They broke cleanly and pulled easily, which made them enjoyable to eat. The eggs were actually one of my favorite parts. They held the seasoning really well and added an extra layer of flavor to the meal. I placed a pickup order, and the experience inside was just as pleasant. The space was clean, and the woman at the front was genuinely friendly. We had a quick conversation about the menu while I waited, which made the visit feel more personal. Overall, I would come back for the flavor, even if I am hoping for slightly more generous portions next time.
