I wouldn't recommend Dr. Young to anyone. He did my surgery never explaining the long term recovery…read moreperiod. As well as not making many after care instructions clear. Yes you are given a print out but pre surgery and the procession of the many many eyedrops and pills My MAJOR complaint is the total disrespect the doctor had for my time and my chronic pain. I waited in the exam room for OVER an hour three times in tears due to the writhing burning pain from being in a sitting position in the waiting area (15 minutes prior my appointment time) and then more than one hour in the hard exam chair. I expressed to Dr. Young while in tears from pain the second time he did this and sorry doesn't always make it right. Had I come an hour late I wouldn't have been seen. I have no medical degree but I have respect for other and their time. The receptionist know when they schedule the doctor overbooked and the patient will wait. He sure to milk the insurance claims with no regard or respect. After the third time I can't type what I wanted to do, He was in and out in less than five minutes. On all that i love I wouldn't want anyone to be so disregarded and in chronic back pain for money? With no decency to accept blame and reschedule me

I just had cataract surgery there. The first eye (left eye) went smoothly. I sedated properly, had…read moreno problems. Then the next week I had the 2nd eye surgery (right eye). I was not sedated properly and I had a more severe experience with my right eye. Without proper sedation I was more present during my surgery. My eye received more stress and swelling. I had very elevated blood pressure after surgery. It was very high and had to be taken 4 times before I was discharged. During the surgery I had to deal with the bright light which the first surgery was not an Issue because I was sedated properly. The surgeon had to give me a number of instructions, look up , look up more, etc. The thing that disturbed me during surgery was the surgeon talking about the illegal drugs that he was going to buy for his weekend fun?? A joke, I don't know?? Please post a comment on your experience.

My kiddo had an appointment here and the good part is that we had a red-haired gentleman technician…read morewho did the puff-of-air eye test, and a technician named Leslie who were both fantastic. They were both friendly and helpful and wonderful. Unfortunately, pretty much everything else was very disappointing. We walked in and there was a young mother there with one child getting an eye exam, and another one who was on the spectrum. As my kiddo and I were getting checked in, the lady at the desk continues her conversation with the others about how the mother needs to manage her child, and how she wants to punch the child but she knows she would go to jail. As a customer, I was disgusted that she would be bad mouthing another customer in front of us. As the mother of another autistic child, I found it DEPLORABLE that she was expressing her desire to assault a handicapped 6 year old. I KNOW that she was not going to follow through and was just venting, but trashing a handicapped child is just low. And I will also add that a whole lot of the problem could have been... moved along... if their new eye exam system weren't such a mess. They have transitioned in the year since we were there last, to an online appointment. The in-house tech does what she does, and then you wait FOREVER for a doctor to initiate a FaceTime call to do the exam. Our appointment took 1 hour and 50 minutes, and the majority of that was spent waiting for the call. Instead of opting for high-end equipment for remote eye exams, maybe hire a doctor to actually show up and move the line along? I also have to say that it is somewhat annoying that their pricing is really a mess. Huge signs everywhere: "Two pairs of glasses with eye exams, $89.99!" And the fine print is that the $79.99 frames are what is included, you pay more for higher-priced frames. So we picked out two pairs of $79.99 frames, but apparently that is the BLUE $79.99 frames, the GREEN $79.99 frames would be $150, so if you get a green pair and a blue pair of $80 frames, it costs $130ish... confused? Yes, me too. But I would be able to deal with the slow wait times, and the weird pricing, but the unprofessional threats about someone barely in elementary school absolutely turned my stomach.
