I took time out of my day to bring my car in, only to be told they were too busy and couldn't work on it until next week. Poor communication and a frustrating experience. I won't be coming back.

I paid for the Freon gas that had a fluorescent dye in case it leaks the next day. The next day my refrigerant was empty again and I took it back and they found the leak behind my dashboard. Which meant the whole dashboard needed to be taken off to replace the AC evaporator. They gave me their bid and a turnaround time of about a week since they wanted to make sure the job was done correctly. On top of that they found that my brake pads needed to be replaced which i let them replace. Overall I didn't go with them for the ac evaporator job since I found another shop that was cheaper and gave me a faster turn around time, however I felt that they were honest and genuinely tried to help me. Nothing bad to say about this shop.

Zeph didn't try to upsell me on items or make me feel inferior for having any questions - he was honest and professional both times, and i look forward to continuing my business with him. all together the service has been stellar and the price has been a great value for the quality of service you get. the photo inspection report alone help put me at ease because i didn't just have to trust the mechanic's word - he showed me, and documented it all.

I had previously taken the van to the dealership, where the spark plugs and ignition coils were replaced, but the misfire was still not resolved. Alexander performed a thorough diagnostic and correctly determined that the fuel injectors were causing the problem. He replaced the injectors and used dealer-level Mercedes diagnostic equipment to properly code and program them to the vehicle. We also discovered significant carbon buildup on the intake valves, which is common on direct-injection engines. Alexander had the proper walnut-blasting equipment and performed an intake-valve carbon cleaning. I was very impressed with his knowledge of Mercedes vehicles, advanced computer diagnostics, fuel-injector programming, and direct-injection systems. His diagnosis was accurate and his work was professional. The shop also provides general auto repair, tires, wheel alignments, transmission repair, and other automotive services. I highly recommend Alexander Auto Service to anyone looking for an honest and knowledgeable mechanic, especially for difficult diagnostic problems that other repair shops or dealerships have been unable to solve. I'm very pleased with the work and would definitely bring my vehicle back.

On top of that, I was quoted approximately $1,700 in repairs. I went in expecting help with my air conditioning, not an unexpected diagnostic charge and a repair estimate that high. I was extremely frustrated with how the situation was handled, especially being charged for a service I did not approve. Customers deserve clear communication, transparency, and the opportunity to approve charges before work is performed. Based on my experience, I would encourage anyone considering this shop to ask questions, confirm all diagnostic fees upfront, and make sure they authorize any charges before allowing work to proceed. I would not return based on this experience.

No warranty on the part, since I brought it in myself, which is totally understandable. I'll definitely bring my car here again in the future if I need anything done. This convinced me to try them out and I am so happy I did! They absolutely deserve their streak (now 77) of 5-star reviews. I had been looking to fix the TPMS on my 2012 Toyota Rav4 for over a year and had been turned off by the estimates I received from the Toyota dealership and Pepboys, my two go-to options for the maintenance and repair needs for my two old cars (I also have a 2008 Toyota Yaris). I felt the price quoted to me was not worth the value of having working TPMS sensors, so I was just resigned to having the TPMS lights turned on for as long as I had the vehicle (which I intend to keep for life). For some reason, I thought I'd give it one last try and I found GTS on Yelp. They were very responsive when I first asked for an estimate and it was much, much lower than what Toyota and Pepboys quoted. So I went ahead with the service, and when they found out that one of the sensors was still working, they told me it didn't need to be replaced and thus brought down the cost even more. They worked on it very quickly so I was able to just wait in their very comfortable and air-conditioned lounge until they were done. I was extremely happy with my overall experience! I believe they also do other auto repair and maintenance work so I will try those out in the future. If the service they provide on those is the same level as what I got on my TPMS repair, then they will have my business on my two old cars for life!
