Join me in never coming here again. I always get the rudest service at this location. I keep coming back to see if it has changed, but it's ingrained in this place. The old man tonight was bossing my son around liked he worked there. He was more concerned with store tidiness, and holding up the front counter, than helping us. He also wouldn't open a medium shirt for my son to try on. "You have to buy it first!" We wanted to purchase a sport coat, a white shirt and khaki's for our trip; all in stock, but we had to go elsewhere so we could try on shirts and pants. I don't know how this location stays in business. Caveat emptor; this place is ran by lazy, angry folks! read more

The young white male working here, I believe his name is Mike, was very rude to me and the older gentleman and Russian lady just ignore you. I was picking up items already purchased so maybe they felt this was ok because I am female and it isn't a store that sells women's clothes. My better half, however , has purchased a lot of items from here in the last six months (about 35 items) and initially had a good experience with Ceaser and a lady called Adele. On Tuesday, my son bought his first ever suit jacket on his own. Once we got to the next state to a wedding, we discovered there was an uncommon flaw, which is out of the ordinary for Jos. A Banks clothing. Thinking we would be able to solve the problem on her own, we made the attempt, but ended up ruining the sleeve. When I returned today, Friday, Mike and the manager, Cesar were incredibly kind and helpful in replacing the suit jacket. I highly recommend this location! read more

I heard about this place on referral from my cousin who has a good fashion sense on fashion for the bargaining mind. He mentioned to me that Jos. A. Bank is fairly decent in quality and usually has some deal going on which won't break the bank when you finally decide on something to buy. So I went during this Labor Day weekend. Sure enough, entire weekend they have Buy 1 Get 2 sale so I jumped on it. My brother also needed a suit and slacks so he would be my 2 free bargain. Let me preface real quick my attire when I went. I just got up from a nap so I didn't think to change or anything. I was in khaki cargo shorts, sandals without socks, and a holey polo t-shirt. It wasn't that holey.. just some tiny holes in the back collar area. When we entered the shop, there were a few customers already there browsing around. I think there were maybe 4 staffers walking around helping and one cashier. My immediate intention was to get someone to help me pick out a suit cause it's not really my area of expertise. We started browsing around and I started looking or waiting for someone to come help me. This is really the only reason I didn't give the place 5 stars. I saw one of the staff guys just standing there without volunteering to help. Granted, maybe he was preoccupied with something that I wasn't aware of but it is what it is. Eventually someone did come and offer assistance and he turned out to be very helpful. I saw his name tag and his name was Aldo. I told him that I didn't know anything about picking out a suit so he measured me, found a suit in a reasonable price range, and had me try it on. He was very patient but I was pretty easy shopper so that should be expected. He also helped my brother pick out a suit and slacks as well. All in all, Aldo was a great help. Respectful and courteous which I appreciated. There was this snobby looking customer in the store that gave me some stares like I just finished skateboarding or something. While I probably should've dressed the part to try on a suit... also realize, I'm a paying customer and I'm just trying on a suit. It's not like I'm at the actual event that I will eventually wear the suit for. Anyway, maybe a bit overthinking on my part. Maybe the snobby looking customer just has that face that's perpetually condescending. Oh yeah, price was fair. I got 2 suits and a pair of slacks for about $450. The area is nice too. Plenty of parking. You just need to walk a short distance. They have metered parking in front of the store but those were all taken. read more

I recently visited this store to return 2 sports coats which i bought online. Mr. Darrell Doss (Assistant Manager) quickly processed returns and refunded money. I was also willing to buy sports coat and he helped me getting sports coats with correct fitting. He was courteous and understood what i was looking for and gave me the right guidance. He also gave me all promotions and discounts at the check out. My experience was good and i am looking forward to visit this store again in future. Poor service + solid clothing = mediocre product. Had a horrible time in the store today. People working there were rude and unhelpful.

Ordered 2 suits and 2 sports coats online. Received a call from a store representative my order had arrived. I asked if all had arrived and he confirmed. Few days later I come to pick up my items and a sales associate stated only one suit had arrived. Looked online and website shows it was all shipped. She mentions it could be in another shipment received today and asked if I could come back. I informed her I would rather wait for my items so I wouldn't have to make a second trip, after all the items could be here. She wasn't happy I wanted to wait bc they were short staffed. She asked another gentleman (older) to help. He was awesome and worked hard to find them. One by one 2 of the other pieces were found. Forty five minutes later we were still missing one sport coat. First sales associate suggests "well it must not be here". Finally a manager arrives, says he looked up the order and confirms the last sport coat was here, just had to find it. Unsure what their receiving system is but if you call a customer to say order is in put them together so we don't have to wait over and hour for an online order. If I wanted to spend that kind of time in the store I would have just come here in the first place. Finally decide to give up and cancel the order for the last sport coat. News sales person arrives and credits me $150 for the whole issue in addition to the refund of the sport coat. 2 stars for service recovery after 1.5 hrs wasted at the store. read more

Finding a 37" sleeve in a dress shirt is rather difficult; finding colors beyond white and blue oxford is practically unknown. The lads who work at the Allen Watters Creek are my favorites. They are extremely professional, patient, knowledgeable, and most importantly, not pushy (unlike certain "warehouses" who bring the pressure to buy accessories--they "guarantee it"). The prices aren't cheap so watch for the sales frequently on television. Ask for Michael L. and tell him that Joel sent you. He'll take excellent care of all your sartorial needs. read more

The Allen store lacks customer centric service skills stemming directly from the management of Kenneth. With a number of customer options for purchases and a long term patron of JAB I will "no longer" do any business with this store and JAB in general. As he stands at the front desk in personal chat with another person that was not directly related to business discussions, I waited nearly 3-4 minutes and still did not get an "acknowledgement" - even though he was about 10-15 feet in proximity for any basic greeting, welcome or hello I know your standing there patiently and I will be with you in a moment. When I then proceeded to ask (interrupted their dialogue flow) if anyone else was here for alterations pickup I proceeded to the back of the store. It was at that time of conjecture that the store manager stated "some here is impatient" and I then imnediately stated then I do not want the purchase with that type of initial response. The experience went down hill from there. He has no substantive skills let alone should be a manager at any single store national chain. Really, that insightful comment and initial lack of composure took it to another new level for anyone in a supervisory capacity. If your in the business to sharpen customer delivery and create a positive experience from initiation to purchase go somewhere else where your value proposition is appreciated. Secondly, retrain or retool your front desk reception. Too many choices for such a poor experience in men's clothing. My business has gone elsewhere. Seems like there is a theme with this manager and lack of customer service - a primary function of a retail outlet store. read more

My husband was able to update his business attire at a very affordable price. JoS A Bank's line fits him well. We were able to take advantage of several great sales. But the greatest benefit of this store are the employees. We have been into this store on multiple occasions and have always experienced excellent assistance. They helped us with colors, styles, fit and tailoring. As the other reviews have stated, you will not find pressure sales tactics here. read more

First let me start by saying that I work management in customer service. I believe customer service is extremely important and usually give places the benefit of the doubt if I have a less that great experience. My fiancé and I were so disappointed with this place that we moved our entire wedding party to another establishment. After going in twice and multiple calls they still couldn't get our information in the system. No problem, technology can be a pain sometimes. The problem was that two months after we picked out all of the attire they got rude and argued with my guy, telling him that we never gave them our info (not accurate). Also frustrating was that they couldn't answer a simple question. Rob was in the store and they couldn't answer him. They took his number and said they'd call. After several days without an answer, Rob called them. Once again they couldn't give an answer and said they'd call right back... Of course we didn't get a call! Unfortunately we still let all of this slide. The real turning point was when the first groomsmen went in and also had an awful experience. We could not in good conscience have our wedding party spending $200 each for RENTALS and rude service. If you decide to shop there, remember that you've been warned! read more
