HORRIBLE LIVING QUALITY, you can smell the pee outside of the building, dark alley cages for the dog to be in. DO NOT BRING YOUR DOG HERE. It is not safe for your dog. If I could give this place a negative ranking I would. We brought our pure bred dachshund and was in there for less than 5 minutes, freshly washed from the spa to the boarding and he come out smelling like 6 month old pee and already shaking in fear. I had her show me where she housed him for that 5 minutes and it was dark, moist with bodily fluid everywhere and not safe for any living creature to be in. It's disgusting in there. Our dog was in there for less than 5 minutes and we had to take him out. When we got him into the car he was covered in old hot pee to the point where it had us gagging and almost puked. After he just had a spa day yesterday. You can smell how bad it is from 5 feet from the door. I hate to bash places but this is not acceptable. This place needs to be shut down asap. read more

If you love your dog DO NOT ever come within 100 yards of this facility. This was the most heart wrenching, mortifying, disgusting kennel I have ever seen. The smell was putrid. The dogs were enslaved in cells in 2x2 cages in complete darkness in the middle of the day. I am beside myself that I ever even had my dog here for one night. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE! The building is like a barn with a dark alley with cages on both sides, nestled in a beautiful yard that I don't think the dogs there ever get to see. The employee rushed us out and was not friendly. We left our dog here for a one night stay, he came back shaking and terrified with scrapes on his elbows. He had never had an accident in the house before, but the night we brought him home from here he peed in his bed. We still don't know what happened at Jordan's Boarding Kennels that night, but I'm sure it was nothing good. Steer clear of this place if you love your pet. read more

I had planned to take my 2 dogs to be board there for a 12 days stay. The reviews looked decent and the website looked good! When I got there the lobby smelled like pee. I wanted to let my dogs have their bed with them. She told me that she didn't want to take the dog bed because it would get dirty with pee from the dogs and she wouldn't be able to clean it. This didn't make me feel very comfortable knowing my dogs would be sleeping in their own pee for almost 2 weeks. Therefore, I did not let my dogs stay there. read more

Where do I start been meaning to write this for a while but due to military priorities. My parents took my puppy there for a few days while they came to watch me graduate from Mcrd Paris island back in February. I came home for my long awaited 10 day leave and the second she came in the door something was wrong. My dog would not come near us she would cower in a corner from us. Towards the end of the day she started to calm down a little and come near me and only me since she sleeps in my room. She laid down in my bed and not even 30 minutes later explosive diarrhea all over me and my bed. Cleaned her up or her in her crate got her some chicken and rice to try and calm her stomach and as soon as she went in her crate SHE WENT BALLISTIC! She wanted to get out of that crate and she has never done that before. We called this place the next morning and they say oh it just started the morning you came to pick her up but the blankets we received back were covered in caked feces like she hadn't been let out of her crate in a couple days and of she has the mess hadn't been taken care of. FOR MY ENTIRE 10 days home before I would leave again until now for a year I spent trying to take care of my dog making sure she was better every nice her pooping in her cage (diareeh) and snapping at us! It took my parents almost a month to get her ok again!!! YOU PEOPLE MESSED UP MY DOG AND YOU SHOULD NOT BE ENTRUSTED WITH ANYONES ANIMALS!! MY PARENTS ASKED TO SEE A TOUR OF THE PLACE SO WE CAN SEE WHERE AND WHO WE ARE ENTRUSTING OUR ANIMALS TO AND TOU CANT EVEN DO THAT!!!! read more

Bad experience and don't plan on returning. They were specifically told not to cut any hair off and that is exactly what they did. They didn't cut it evenly at that, his foot has bald patches. If this was the last place on earth to get a service, I still wouldn't go. I would have preferred honesty about not knowing how to do the job not lying about knowing how to do it then do the opposite of what was asked. read more

This place is a dump. I came in for an interview and I can tell you that these animals are NOT properly taken care of. They are left in the dark during the day to keep the electric costs down. When I took a tour of the facility there was a puddle of urine in the center of the floor that we had to step over. When I asked which cleaner they use to rinse the kennels, the owner said, "Oh we don't use that kind of stuff here. We just spray it down with water." DISGUSTING This place is run by ONE WOMAN and at times she says her kennels are filled. There is no way your pet will receive the proper care here with one staff member. You would be better off hiring a pet sitter or paying more money at a different facility. read more

Shocked by the amount of 4/5 star reviews. I took my dogs here for the second time, mind you they go to another kennel in a different state as well, I have never seen them not want to enter a building more than the second time I brought them here. It is very evident the owner is in it FOR THE MONEY. I worked at a kennel for 4 years, and a vet clinic for 3 as a vet tech. Not one day did I wear PRADA shoes to groom dogs. She basically just puts the dogs in the kennel and has 0 social contact with them after that. I asked if they had beds/blankets, she replied with "they are off the floor anyway, they'll be fine". I asked if they have access in and out all day, she said "I let them out, there's some dogs would be too stupid to go outside if not". To which she has a cord that pulls the doggy doors open. No social contact with the dogs. She pulls it open and hopefully they go out. My largest dog is afraid to go out doggy doors, he's 125 pounds and probably feels like he's not going to fit. He also knows not to pee inside. I get him back from her, and immediately let him go to the bathroom, he peed for 5 minutes straight. I am not exaggerating, I have never seen my dog, or ANY dog, pee for that long. The next two dogs come out, they have to pee so bad that one peed on the other because he couldn't wait to even find a spot. In addition, when I received my food bucket, it had appeared that 0 food had been removed from the bucket. I have 3 large dogs that should be eating a total of 8 cups a day. They were there for 2 feedings, you would think I would notice 8 cups of food missing from the small amount of food I gave her for 2 feedings worth, but no. Again, I worked at a kennel for 4 years, and a vet clinic for 3, you can tell who works with animals because of their love for the animals and who works with animals because they have found a money pot. I. Will. Never. Take. My. Dogs. Back. Here. And for $100, for her to pull a string twice, and provide horrible care for dogs. No thanks. read more

This place rocks! We have been taking our 2 beagles here for 3 years and they are treated like family. This place is one of the most reasonable kennels as for price and quality (the kennels are huge and the dogs get to go outside while in their kennel)! The owner is super laid back and truly loves animals. She ensures our beagles do not fight over food, and she washes out their kennels daily! read more

OMG that place if terrible, I left my dog for 4 days and when pickup my dog she almost can't walk normal and when I ask her if something happen with her she said that my dog is crazy and maybe hurt herself. I made reservations for two dogs for an extended Labor Day weekend and showed up on Thursday at 4:25 pm. The hours posted on line said open 8am-5pm. We pulled up to a dark quiet building. I called the business and no one answered so I left a message. I drove back to East Longmeadow and the owner called. I told her I had been there. She said she had just run up to the house for a minute but she was there now. I said you didn't leave a sign or answer your phone. She said well I didn't see you drive by and I am here now. I said well I am home now. No apologies or how can we make this right. Nothing...HOW RUDE. Don't go there! Plus who locks up all the dogs at 4:30 pm. read more

Terrible experience, I would never let her touch any of my dogs. I brought my puppy in for her 1st grooming. It's right down the road from me so I was excited about having a place close by. It's also in a beautiful wooded area so it's a nice country setting - that's the end of the pros....now onto the cons. I parked the car and carried my puppy toward the office and was hit by a strong stench of urine. Folks, I get it, dogs are coming here to be kenneled and groomed so of course they may pee outside before going in, but we had just had major rain the day before and it should have helped wash it away, but because it was so strong the owner apparently never hoses down the area.....and that's your first impression before you even walk in! Then we get in the office and no air-conditioning so it is stifling and the smell - it reeked in there! I literally started to feel sick. No one was at the desk, there was no bell to ring only a door with a small window which I went up to and waived and one of the workers saw me and turned to the owner. Well she comes into the office - no greeting at all, not even a "good morning" doesn't ask me my name just looks at my dog and asks "is this the puppy?". Before I can even answer she gruffly picks up my dog and puts her on a table. I try to tell her what I want and she interrupts and continues talking as she's grabbing at my dog. I felt so uncomfortable and there were so many red flags going up from the minute I stepped out of the car, so I picked up my dog and said I was just going to take her outside....she knew what I was doing, that I was leaving, and just huffed as I was walking out. This all took place in under 5 minutes of arriving but when I got home I could literally still smell the place, it had gotten into my clothes and hair. I ended up asking friends on Facebook for recommendations and discovered Tails and Tangles in Indian Orchard. What a difference! The girl over the phone was friendly and helpful, she answered all my questions and made me feel really good about the place. Then when we arrived for the appointment we were greeted warmly and everyone there was friendly and professional. They did an amazing job, they listened to what I wanted and I couldn't be happier. So to sum it up - DO NOT GO TO JORDAN KENNELS for anything. If you love your dog don't do it. Tails and Tangles was amazing and their reviews were spot on! Defintely do your homework, read the reviews and make an informed decision! Hope this helps someone from going through what I went through. read more
