Sarah's pet sitting service was incredible! They were so thorough in making sure our dog would be comfortable with the assigned sitter and helped us customize a sitting schedule based on our needs. During their stay, they sent us lots of photos and video updates to make sure our minds were at ease knowing our pup was well cared for and happy!! read more

This is the best dog service and they also good with cats. Have used them for over 1 year, 5 days a week. My dog has gotten more time outside than I could give since I have to work so he can eat LoL. I get peace of mind which is worth the money too. Trustworthy and very reliable. Quick to reply to any concerns. Highly recommended!! read more

We have used Sara's Pet Services for several years now. She (and her helpers) have been fantastic. We have moved several times in and around Northampton as we await the renovation of our new house and she has been very flexible with times and locations. Our two Bichons love going for walks with all the walkers and they are just as excited to see them as they are to see us when we get home. I trust Sarah's Pet Services. My wife and I plan to keep using them as we settle into our permanent NoHo home. read more

I had my initial consultation on September 22nd and it went very well. I was told I'd be contacted once a plan was made for my 10 year old dog. I have repeatedly contacted them for over 2 months to get things set up. Many of my emails/messages were never even replied to and when they were, there was always an excuse that in the moment seemed plausible. Today, November 29th, there was yet another excuse and I was informed they couldn't take my dog on. I feel like I have been misled every step of the way. I could have already established a relationship elsewhere if I had known but I continued to wait for Sarah's service because she came so highly recommended from my doggy daycare provider. Two months and one week of being strung along. I find this an extremely unprofessional way to run a business. read more

My dog and I just moved here from NYC and I'm so happy we found Sarah's! Ysabel is so responsive and communicative. She has really assessed my dog's needs and worked hard to find the right walking group for her. I love the pictures and updates I get at the end of every walk and she seems to take her on new and interesting routes. Sarah was also really helpful in our initial conversation and shared a great tip sheet for Northampton dog owners. read more

Sarah and her team have been walking our (now dog) for nearly a year. She came highly recommended from our vet. When we got Jack as a puppy, she came to our home and introduced herself and a member of her team. She worked with us as we got our little guy trained and even came multiple times a day. Sometimes we forget to schedule our weekly walks, she sends us a friendly reminder. We would certainly recommend her services. Thanks to SPS, Jack was house trained in less then 3 weeks. He's now over 9 months old and we have t had an accident since he was 12 weeks old!!!! read more

Sarah's Pet Services did a wonderful job taking care of our Bernese Mountain Dog while we were away on vacation. Zeo was absolutely fabulous and gave Abbie great walks. We especially loved finding a diary of their walking events when we returned. We'll definitely come back and use Sarah's services again. read more

Very disappointing experience. I also had a hard time connecting despite using the online booking services. This should have been an indication to move on. I stuck with it and eventually had a consultation which went well and was encouraging. I chose Sarah's because I am essential and need to be at work in all kinds of weather and circumstances so it was important to me to have a reliable dog walker. We signed up for hikes for the big dog and pee breaks for the smaller dog. The reports were very positive initially and it seemed like a match but my pups became more and more skeptical of the walker as things progressed. The little one hid from "animal behaviorist" Ryan and the larger one apparently became more agitated. I would have anticipated that the dogs would become more comfortable with him over time but the opposite happened. They send you a text with photos after the hike along with feedback which is nice but it's really a one way communication. I would occasionally reply with questions or suggest strategies in an effort to collaborate but only got a reply maybe once. I requested a few overnights online to cover a trip and no reply for weeks, followed up with a phone call, nothing for another week, had already booked at a boarding facility by the time I heard back a couple weeks later. I was considering other options as I was coming to the conclusion that Sara's was not a match for us. I thought there would be some kind of respectful transition. After a few months of using their services, paying on time and collaborating strategies (the few times I was able to have a two way conversation) the owner abruptly asked me to have someone else walk my dog the following day in an email sent at 1045 at night. So I woke at 5am with a 12hr hospital shift ahead scrambling to cover the dogs for the day and figure out what to do moving forward. After letting her know how appalled I was at her sudden discontinuation of services she offered a leash walk for the day. I can't imagine emailing someone at 1045 at night (when they are likely sleeping) and telling them I didn't want to take care of their grandmother the next day. Im glad others have had a positive experience with Sarah's pet service. I did not. read more

I have used Sarah's Pet Services to schedule pet sitting visits for my hedgehog. As you may be able to guess, it is difficult to secure pet sitting for exotic pets, but Sarah was very willing to learn about exotic pets and find out more about their care. She sends updates during visits by email and makes sure that I have returned at the end of each trip and her job is done. She also leaves notes detailing how each visit went. Her online system also makes it very easy to schedule bookings. I highly recommend it. read more

Sarah and her staff were truly lifesavers for my family and me. We had an unexpected death in our family the week before Thanksgiving and needed to find care for our elderly Aussie immediately. Sarah managed to accommodate us during a very busy season when everyone else turned us away. Also, the care that Kobi received that week from his caregiver, Zoe, was exceptional. I was reassured after my first phone conversation with her...she was so kind and understanding, asked all the right questions, and followed up with daily updates. She even had special treats for him on Thanksgiving Day! It was truly a comfort at such a stressful time to know that he was receiving such quality care . I can't recommend Sarah and her team highly enough...truly professional, compassionate and first-rate! read more

Sarah and her team do a tremendous job! Our puppy Marcella has been taken care of by them since we got her at 2 months. She jumps with joy when Noam picks her up for the off leash romps with her buddies and she comes home happy and tired. Sarah took Marcella to her house for a week when we went in vacation- we came back and she was happy and well taken care of. Marcella is very well socialized with other dogs as a result of Sarah's work and care. Highly recommend. read more

You and your pet will feel part of the family with Sarah and Noam. They run a professional, customer service-driven pet service with all the warmth and attention a family member would give you. Don't waste your time looking for another pet sitter. You will never find another that is more nurturing, reliable and knowledgable as Sarah's Pet Services. Sarah sends pictures of our boisterous Brady, a handful of a puppy. She has been an amazing resource to us when we needed recommendations for a vet and a trainer. She is patient, knowledgable, kind and generous. Every person I know in the valley recommended her to us when we first got our puppy. We love Sarah's Pet Services! Our dog Kivu is a bundle of energy and he comes back from his hours-long romps with Sarah, her husband Noah, or one of their great staff exhausted and happy. We even get great pictures out of it. They're totally reliable, enthusiastic animal lovers. I'm really surprised to see the other negative reviews but I and others have tried to post positive reviews before and they keep getting taken down. Not sure why but just check out Sarah's website to see how many other happy customers are out there. read more

I tried to set up services with Sarah. She wasn't the most responsive to emails which made me a little skeptical. When I tried to set up a consultation with the employee, Zoe, who was assigned to me, she was also not the most responsive with email. I did set up a consultation but she had to cancel to work at her other job. They both just seemed overwhelmed and flighty, which I can't have when I need a reliable dog walker . Decided to go elsewhere. read more

Sarah and Justin took care of Gus our year and a half old husky for six days while we were out of town for the holidays. They also took care of our mail, cat (including cleaning the litter box!), and turned lights on and off for us. They checked in with us a few times and Gus loved it! read more

I needed a walker for my pup while I was away and the pup was at my sister's in Northampton. I was in tears talking to dog walkers thinking the worst and even was about to cancel my trip but after hearing about her from a friend, Sarah took such care to explain her business practices to me and made me feel so calm about leaving my baby in the hands of one of her employees. Three different walkers came to meet my dog within my tight schedule on a *Sunday* so that I knew who could be walking her if it couldn't be the same person each day. It ended up being John each day and he was awesome! My sister was home once when he came in and she said my dog flew to him with a fast wagging tail and lots of kisses! John's updates and photos made my day each day. He was also super quick to reply to me. The most important thing was that he really respected that my dog is not awesome with other dogs all of the time and my request, for everyone's safety, to keep her away from other dogs while I am away. I never thought I would feel so comfortable to let someone else walk my pup but Sarah's Pet Services is just that great! read more
