While I waited, I noticed that not only the woman behind the desk was new, but I didn't recognize anyone working there! My dog was shaking when she was brought to me. She looked like her body was trimmed but her head was not. I didn't say anything to them . I just wanted to get her out of there. Even that took her ten minutes to check me out and I paid cash....$95.00. They did the worse job ever. I will never bring her back. Unlike other stores that struggle with staff turnover and appointment availability, this location consistently delivers quality care. Most recently, our dog was groomed by Michael. He treated her with such kindness and respect--gently grooming her, remembering that she'd been thirsty when I dropped her off, and showing great patience and care with our senior pup. What he didn't know was that she had aggressive cancer and passed away just four days later. During those last days, I was so thankful she had been freshly groomed. She was clean, comfortable, and beautiful--able to leave this world with dignity and grace. Michael played a part in that, and I'm deeply grateful. He is exactly the kind of employee who deserves recognition--for his skill, his empathy, and his humanity.
