I had been wanting to take Salsa and Bachata dance lessons for a while now. I'm so glad I saw a post of theirs on social media. The classes are fun and challenging. I loved the 8week Intro to salsa and I'm now hooked. Instructors are great at teaching and really involved. The whole atmosphere of the studio is welcoming and friendly. read more

I had a good time! I took bachata mechanics and it was definitely entry level skills. The teacher was thorough and made sure we got the moves down before she moved onto the next. She was going around the class for anyone who did not get it right or felt uncomfortable she would help out. The first class lasted about an hour and a half. Also you first class is free! Usually a drop in class is $25. Plenty of parking, not a problem. I had a good time. read more

Best studio ever! I have never danced salsa and the instructors do such a wonderful job explaining each step. Amazing instructors and so much fun! read more

I randomly decided to try learning social dancing in January and found myself at this studio through an Instagram ad I saw. From the very beginning, my experience has been nothing short of incredible. My teachers for Intro to Salsa and Bachata -- Jimi, Jen, and Jay -- were all absolutely amazing. Each of them brought so much energy, knowledge, and encouragement to every class, and made learning both fun and approachable. I loved my intro classes so much that I continued on to Level Two and have also started attending socials. Never did I ever think I would find myself doing this, and I truly had no idea what I was getting into when I started. Now, dancing has become one of the highlights of my life. It's so much fun, has given me a wonderful community of friends, and I genuinely look forward to coming to the studio multiple times a week. The owners, Jimi and Paula, are phenomenal -- so welcoming, passionate, and dedicated to creating a supportive environment. Every instructor I've had at the studio has been excellent, and the training is extremely thorough. They prepare you not just to dance, but to dance well, with a real emphasis on technique and connection for social dancing. I'm beyond happy with my experience and would highly recommend this studio to anyone who's even slightly curious about dancing. It's one of the best decisions I've ever made! read more

Daughter loves coming to her dance classes. At first she was debating between ballet and gymnastics but after coming here for the first time she forgot all about gymnastics! Teachers are great and patient with the students who are still relatively young and attention spans are shorter than average lol The studio is being remodeled and looking better and better every time we go in! Pricing is also great here would definitely recommend to all parents. Love that they also have adult dance classes. Might sign my mom up for those! read more

I am very happy with the experience, thank you! Definitely recommend going there have fun learning to dance!

I've taken salsa and bachata and Jordance since May 2023 and it has been the best decision I've made. I used to be fearful of dancing due to growing up with a negative view of my body and abilities, so taking classes here for the first time was incredibly nerve-wracking. But I'm so glad I did. This studio is filled with the most kind-hearted people you'll ever meet. Are you a beginner and want to see what salsa and bachata are like? Absolutely recommend you starting out with Jordance. For reference, their salsa is focused on 2. I've been going for almost a year now and I'm so glad I did. The owners, Jimi and Paula, are amazing. Everyone's welcomed with open arms. It doesn't feel intimidating at all to be there. read more

My daughter takes a class here 2x per week and We have been very happy. The waiting room is clean and comfy. The dance studio areas are clean and kept at appropriate temperatures. The staff is all very sweet and professional. They are tucked away on the side and there is never an issue finding parking. read more

This studio has a fun and friendly environment. I started their Intro to Salsa course with zero dance skills. The pace of the classes are slow enough to not completely scare away new dancers. Each week my nerves and anxiety slowly went away thanks to Jimi and Paula. They are able to guide and teach in such a way where I felt relax but motivated to learn. If you are a non-dancer wanting to learn salsa, definitely give this studio a try. Learning to dance helped grow my self-confidence in addition to just being straight up fun. I'm hoping to continue it again once my schedule allows me to. I hope this review helps. read more

My favorite studio for Salsa classes! And located on the west side, close to home. I've been taking classes here for roughly a year. Jimi and Paula are very welcoming instructors with genuine and caring personalities. I started learning with another studio and I decided to leave there because I didn't see myself progressing. I love that Jimi and Paula focus on technique and connection. This is something that I've noticed other instructors gloss over. You aren't going to become a great social dancer if you do not learn how to connect, lead/follow your partner. They will teach you how the dance is supposed to feel and look. I recently introduced my brother to this studio and I'm so impressed with the progress he is making in just two months. His lead is already feeling amazing. If you want quality instruction and to get what you pay for, then definitely come and take classes here. read more

Such amazing teachers and staff! Since the beginning of the pandemic they have done an awesome job in helping their students to not lose their training but still remain safe by going on zoom. Now that they have been able to open again, following all covid regulations, they still put their student's safety first. They regularly check temperatures and require masks. I truly feel safe to dance again! Jordance studios is the place to go to try new styles of dance or pick up where you last left off Paula and Jimi have helped me learn so many new salsa and bachata styles and I can't wait to learn more! read more

Love love love Jimi and Paula!!! They are super professional and patient with all students. My hubby and I were taking the salsa classes with them and we loved them. We also always felt safe going into class even during COVID as all students are taken their temperature as soon as you walk into the lobby and everyone is required to wear their masks. The only reason we stopped going was due to a new pregnancy and we couldn't continue with the classes, but we will be back as soon as we can!!! read more

I've been here at this studio since the first day they opened back in March 2018 when I took my first ever salsa class. I have nothing else to say other than I'm in love. With the people, the structure of the classes, the vibes, and especially the instructors and their level of knowledge and techniques. I've taken dance classes not just salsa, but I've never met anyone that can break things down like they do. Although they're already so amazing, they do not forget to keep training and continuing their education which is very important to me when I am choosing an instructor to learn from! I'm so happy I came to this studio. Loved it so much that I even joined jimi and Paula's salsa team!! I cannot wait to grow even more with you guys! Thanks P & J read more

Jimi and Paula are the BEST out there!! They are dedicated to helping you really learn and perfect your craft. I love their passion for salsa, ballet, bachata, and their students. Especially during this pandemic they have worked so hard in helping continue our dance education while also exceedingly meeting the guidelines provided. They treat their students like family and it is all good vibes at this studio. Can't recommend this place enough for people of all ages! read more

The instructors that I met are great here. The reason I gave it so few stars is because the lady at the front desk, who has her dog with her, is unfriendly and also inconsiderate. I walked in and it was stuffy and smelt like poop. She has a small piece of AstroTurf next to a FRIDGE, where her dog poops and she doesn't pick it up. When I walked past the dog poop to go to the restroom, hoping it'd be gone when I came back, it wasn't.. it's a small waiting area with kids everywhere...how is it safe to leave dog faeces there around kids? I told her the dog had made a poop, in case she wanted to pick it up, or didn't know.. she looked at me and said I know, thanks... and then went to go teach a dance... the poop was there from when I arrived, to when I left, a total of 90 min. Disgusting. If your dog is going to shit right here, clean up after it.... read more

I never post a review but this studio deserves one! First impression off-the-bat was how friendly and welcoming Jimi and Paula (the owners) were! Brand new cozy studio with charm, and it's also super clean! I took a Beginner Salsa On2 class on 03/30/18 and an Intermediate class that was taught by pro performers, Erik & Rosemarie, who came to visit from LA. I enjoyed the ease with which Jimi and Paula explained and demonstrated the steps, and details on when to move with the music and the speed. A nice extra touch was when Jimi got on the congas and helped emphasize on what beat to step on with any Salsa song. Fun night! Looking forward to taking another class soon! (4 Stars only because I haven't tried all their classes) read more

This is the best studio I have been to for learning salsa. I started at another studio and I was left feeling uninspired. When I first met Jimi and Paula , I could tell that they were very passionate about what they do and it made me interested to learn. They have both been super patient and encouraging. I have progressed very quickly learning with them in the few months that I have been going here. Also, the studio has a welcoming family environment. I highly recommend this studio for groups of all ages. read more

Paula and Jimi are amazing dancers and instructors. They have created such a wonderful environment for all dancers to learn and grow. They are super passionate, humble, and kind. I love that they teach concepts not just moves. They focus on teaching fundamental skills such as timing, connection, musicality, etc. As a former teacher, I appreciate that they actually plan what they teach in each series. This kind of class structure ensures that beginners who take classes will eventually learn all the skills they need to move up to intermediate and so on. read more

Paula and Jimi are creative, attentive, and caring instructors! They interviewed me about my goals and tailor my lessons to help me reach them. Paula has a knack for finding ways to clarify advanced dance concepts, and she also has a wealth of knowledge about stretching and mobility to improve my longevity as a dancer. read more

It is clear that Jimi and Paula both have a love for teaching. Whether you are advanced or have never danced before - their passion is to teach you to get as good as you want to be! They're both extremely knowledgable and have had lots of experience teaching and dancing (in Italy too!) It's awesome because their studio offers more than just salsa classes...I definitely recommend trying it out! read more

Such a creative and unique dance school. The owners are truly professionals in what they do! Even during the COVID pandemic they continued educating and provided their students the opportunity to perform (of course all guidelines in place). Highly recommend Jordance! read more

Was there for a Milonga. The people were polite and fun loving. Although I felt like a stranger because I'm and out of towner.

Went to the social had an amazing time extremely friendly. I've been teaching Latin dance for 20 years and I could see how they're going to be very successful for 20 years. read more

Before signing my daughter up, I called the studio several times and no one answered. Turns out I signed my daughter up for a class that was too advanced, so we left the first day a little discouraged. We returned the following day and my daughter had a great time. We decided to come back the following week. My daughter is 3, so this is all new to her. The second time around there was another student who was older and had been dancing for 3 years. The instructor who is in high school(only cares teaching will look good on her college app, from what I heard her say) soley focused on the other student. I was upset because I thought this class was a beginners class for her age group. At the very end they were given stickers, my daughter has a speech delayment and they gave her a sticker she didn't want, instead of giving her one more fricken sticker they said no and then ignored her. Like literally my 3 year old was crying and the instructor was ignoring her talking to the receptionist who never answers the phone. We will not be returning. read more
