Last night, Jon and Judy had a one time only Free Argentine Tango Class event. We had so many people turn out for this. We had all different ages, all different skill levels, some came out for the very first time. There were nice refreshments and lots of information about ongoing tango classes. Everyone had so much fun. The more experienced dancers helped the very new dancers and the new dancers got encouraged to practice alongside everyone else. The tango community is very fun, accepting and encouraging. Come on out and give it a try! We are from out of town and wanted to dance a bit and take a lesson for fun while in Vegas for family stuff. We found Judy and Jon on Yelp and meet them at their Milonga. Milonga was a nice elegant one. We took a private with them the next day. It was a bit more expensive than what we have paid before, but WOW. We learned so much. The private was focused on musicality which is what we needed most. They made us think about it ways we haven't before while helping us improve our dancing in other ways. I wish we could study under them on a regular basis, but we will definitely return. They are both lovely people and after just the two meetings I count them as friends. If you get a chance you should study under them. If for a day or for long term. You will be so pleased you have. read more

Jon & Judy are amazing teachers, the level of detail they provided is amazing. They have helped me really learn how to lead and dance with intention by making my movements and leading become one action. Tango is unlike any other form of ballroom dance. It is led and followed primarily through the nuance of torso to torso communication. This intimacy results in both a transparency and a need for clarity in non verbal communication that can be truly transformative. Tango at this level is very hard to teach. It is not about learning figures. It is about learning how to be in your body, and to not only communicate with your own body, but communicate with another human being silently through your body. Judy and Jon are the best teachers I know of for this deep, and most intimate, aspect of tango. For me, a private with them is like working with a gifted physical therapist - taking a deep dive into how the mind and body really work together. Yes, if you want to learn figures, they can ably teach you lots of figures. But.....if you really want to go to the heart of this art form, these are the people to work with! read more
