Review for the one-off salsa social I attended while visiting - good crowd, great music, good community of on1/on2/bachata dancers. 5/5 would rec to other visiting social dancers. :) read more

We paid upfront and didn't get what we paid for. Upon us paying for the classes, we told we can extend the classes to another year if needed. When we reached out to schedule appointments, re-were told in order for us to move forward with classes we would need to re-purchase a smaller package. Wish we never trusted them with our money. read more

Dancing is not one of my skills. I can hang in a gym class where there's an instructor modeling what to do, but social dancing? No thanks. But I'm dating a guy who likes to dance, and we're always looking for new and fun date ideas, so I signed us up for one of Sophia's Thursday night dance classes, courtesy of Mickie Choi's Meetup group- note that the first class you attend is free. The class focused on Salsa, but we were told they feature a different dance style each week and have monthly offsite outings to practice in a social setting. Sophia was professional as an instructor, giving clear directions and feedback, and breaking the group into rotating pairs with time to practice. I do appreciate that our group was offered a discount on the package rates for coming in. However, the facility itself is somewhat run down with messy bathrooms and storage junk thrown in corners. The class schedule available by the door did not match the class schedule info we were given verbally, so perhaps it is outdated. The class we actually took ended promptly but did not start on time, which is a pet peeve of mine if you are looking to sign me up as a paying client. read more

Don't answer their phones on certain days. Need more workers who dance and teach salsa dancing

Always been into salsa and latin jazz so I was excited to finally learn. Instruction from Gustavo was good when I'm able to actually attend a lesson. However getting appointments canceled nearly every other week creates a lack of continuity and I'd end up back at square 1 upon my actual return to the studio. Listen to the other lackluster reviews. Thought I'd get a "deal" buying a promotional new year private lesson package, nope. Several cancelations -- some very last minute due to various reasons had me second guessing my purchase. Mind you I live across town. Frustrated, with several classes left I asked and he refused to refund me the remaining balance. So I'm assed out quite a few dollars. read more

Broadway hall is a great place to take salsa and bachata lessons in Vegas. On top of offering so many classes they have socials every other Sunday where there are dancers of all levels, people who just started taking lessons from them, to some of the best dancers in Vegas. Gustavo, Jenny, Tony and Teresa (the instructors) are very helpful and friendly. Love the family environment of this studio. They also offer classes for kids...the instructors' kids all dance pretty well for their ages :) The studio itself has nice hardwood floors and a big mirror on one wall where you can watch yourself when you practice. I would suggest Broadway Hall to anyone that wants to start dancing or learn more moves! read more

Have been trying to contact them for about 3 days and finally I was able to get through to someone but only to be told that they were in the middle of teaching class and would get back to me afterwards. No phone call, text, or email was received afterwards. You'd think that a paying customer would get priority but I guess not. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

We are a military family and have taken dance lessons from all over the world and I have never felt so violated! This place scammed my husband and me out of $350 worth of private lessons! It has been one excuse after another when we try to schedule lessons. We paid for 10 private lessons up front and within a 7 month timeframe, they only gave us 3 lessons. Excuses have ranged from bronchitis to getting pulled over by a cop. Do not sign up for lessons at this place! They will take your money and run!!!!! Update: I spoke with the owner, Gustavo, who is doing his best to make up for our bad experience with Tony. Gustavo agreed to teach the rest of our private lessons and today's lesson went very well. read more

I haven't even been able to try this place and I'm already giving them a 1 star. I been trying to contact them for 2 weeks and no answer at all. I'm sure they could return a call at some point if they cared about their business. read more

It's been about two years since I started learning Bachata y Salsa with Gustavo and let me tell you , it's been one of the best two years of my life. Gustavo taught me the most important part of every Latin dancing " THE BASICS" he never gave up on me till I became proficient at it. Now with all the time that he has given me I can proudly say I dance BACHATA. But the best of it all is , I just didn't learn how to dance I also made a ton of new friends/acquaintances and a second family . P.s. I also dance Salsa now read more

This place is the best! Gustavo has such a passion for teaching dance! I felt like family the first day I walked through the doors. If you want to learn to dance, you've got to stop by!!!! read more

Broadway Hall Dance Studio - Practice after class. - Dance Studios Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

worst dance instructor's ever. TONY and GUSTAVO. I had the worst experience with both! I payed up front for private classes. suddenly it became a pattern of multiple cancellations, and when I tried to call and reschedule they wouldn't answer. or they forgot I had my private class the day of. or another excuse would be I'm sick I can't come in for the private class or another one would be I got pulled over by the police, or I'm out of town. . instead of 1 hour for my private classes it was 45 min long! some times they would tell me I can give you a deal for more private classes for this much. when I haven't even completed my first private lessons. I would always say no. it seemed that all they wanted was the money and they could care less about canceling on you the day of. and making 100 of excuses why they can't make it. i never finished my private classes I took 3 out of the 7 private classes. I lost a lot of money here with them that I payed up front money that I wont get back. read more

We have been pleased but sometimes classes are cancelled and scheduling for private classes can be hard as they have events and other classes going on. read more

They recently relocated and I HIGHLY suggest you do yourself a favor and check them out! The new place is so beautiful to host events and the dance lessons bring so much happiness during this pandemic. 11/10 -- They are so diverse and welcoming. read more

Amazing experience! Broadway hall has become like a family to me. I never considered myself a natural dancer but taking classes here I've noticed not only improvement in my technique but in my confidence too. I started taking private lessons with Gustavo after trying out another school. The difference was night and day! Gustavo really knows his stuff and it felt like he channelled his attention to the finer details and fundamentals. He can explain everything with such patience and precision. I always leave my classes with a smile on my face. I can highly recommend this place and I really can't say enough good things about Gustavo and the friendly ambiance of his studio! read more

Not cool Broadway Hall to advertise on your website that you have 2 Salsa Socials on Sundays and then to go all the way there to find out that you don't. Change your damn website then! We came far to take the intro lesson. But I see now the reason you do that is to get people to come and then use your high-sale pressure tactics to talk them into buying your overpriced lessons. You pounced on us right away when we came in. That's such a big turn off, but worst of all, is the dishonesty. I noticed another person came there for the social and saw her walking to a bus stop. It's not nice that you do this. Because of this, I wouldn't even consider your lessons! read more

My fiance and I took private salsa lessons with Gustavo at Broadway. The lessons were decent but more than half of our classes have been cancelled/rescheduled on us last minute!! Also, the private lessons are not that "private" because there are always others in the studio practicing at the same time as well (sometime playing non-salsa music). Gustavo tried to sell us multiple times on additional private lessons after only a couple classes... thank God we did not fall for this "special offer"! As you can imagine, the experience was very frustrating! I would not recommend this place. I am sure there are much better options in Vegas. read more

If you are looking for a dance studio that offers more than just great dance classes, this is the place! The instructors and people that attend classes have always been friendly and welcoming and truly care. I was lucky to find a class on Groupon 5 years ago and I although I had tried other dance studios I was so grateful to call Broadway Hall my dance home. They have kids classes, group lessons, private instruction and great dance teams too if you want to perform. They also have a great Sunday night social on the 2nd Sunday of the month (sometimes more frequently!) with a free class before the dj starts. Thank you for everything and keep it up! read more

When me and my husband started taking classes at Broadway Hall 8 months ago we had no idea how to dance Salsa or Bachata. Our instructor Gustavo is not only professional dancer himself, he also knows how to teach. And what's very important- he is very patient. He can repeat one simple step with us hundred of times patiently until we get it! We really like the atmosphere at the studio. Everyone is very friendly and fan. It seems like a big family there. This place is highly recommended!!! read more

Disappointed. Late review, but can't stop thinking about how I was scammed out of my money every time I pass by or see salsa. Came here about 2 yrs ago, signed up for lessons with Tony, he constantly rescheduled and I was the one who kept calling to see if the classes were still on or to make time for another class. Honestly I felt like I was chasing him down. I hated that feeling. He ultimately had me sign up for 10 more lessons and I paid up front and once again it was the same story. I think I only got one if my lessons out of the whole deal and paid $210. I was disappointed because I actually was really excited to learn and dance salsa. This experience kind of tainted my whole view on the whole salsa dancing thing. Sadly, I thought maybe it was me and I wasn't a good dancer or whatever, even though I practiced and even went out and bought special shoes which sadly, again I only used once. read more

Gustavo is an excellent teacher. I'm in private lessons and group salsa lessons and they are fun and very helpful

The studio owner is wonderful in sharing his studio with us for our Argentine Tango classes and milongas. We've had many wonderful memories there. Tuesday and Thursday nights there are Argentine Tango classes with Tango with Judy and on the first and second Saturdays of the month there is a milonga there. See meetup.com/tangueros for the schedule of locations and times we will be there for Argentine Tango. The studio owner, Gustavo teaches wonderful salsa and latin classes like you will see in the clubs. read more

Not a great tango dancer, but came to the practica (free dancing session) with my dad. And having been to these in San Diego, San luis obispo, Santa Barbara, and buenas aires I can say this is by far the kindest and most welcoming! Love love love the teacher Jon! He's wonderful. If you've ever had an interest in trying it come here! read more

I would recomend him to others read more

I try all the classes for over a year. I really love the teachers and the friendly atmosphere

I have been going to Broadway Hall for years taking group classes (salsa, bachata, tango), and now I'm taking private lessons with Gustavo. I cannot say enough positive things about this studio and about the owner. This place is great, whether you are a complete beginner or you have been dancing a while and want to take your dancing to the next level. The owner Gustavo is organized, punctual, professional, and his communication is excellent. I have learned so much, especially since starting private lessons. That, and I always leave the studio just a little bit happier than before ;-) read more

This is truly an excellent dance studio offering a number of classes for all ages. The instructors are among the best you'll find in the greater Las Vegas area, especially for Salsa and other Latin dance styles.
