We weren't comfortable going in the studio just yet, but we still wanted her to get that training in. Luckily I found CSLV and was instantly drawn to them because: 1. They offered zoom classes, no pressure to go in studio 2. Their fees were so affordable - SO AFFORDABLE The hiphop class that she took via zoom was perfect. She enjoyed it so much! I loved how the instructor always checked in with those on zoom vs just focusing on those in class. Once we were ready to go back in studio, we were welcomed with open arms. I can see that baby girl has improved tremendously in her dancing skills. She is more aware of her counts which is a huge. She's been dancing Ori Tahiti since she was 3 and she usually rushes thru the choreo. But now she takes her time and is a lot more aware of her counts and moves. Huge thank you to her instructors at CSLV for helping her with that and just helping her be a better well rounded dancer. In the short amount of time we've been with them, baby girl has already done a video shoot, they're working on their next video shoot now, and hopefully will be performing live the end of the year (assuming things start opening up). That is a lot more than what she did at her previous dance studio and she was dancing there for almost the same amount of time. So if you are looking for a studio to get your kids to dance with, I highly recommend Culture Shock. The instructors are great and always willing to accommodate, if they can make it work. They're a non profit organization, so they're not out here trying to get all your money. They are definitely working for the kids and I love that. Crash academy was both and it was a really really good work out. Tracie is a gem. She is sweet and encouraging and a very good instructor. I took the beginners level one pole fitness class, as I've never even attempted this before. Tracie made me feel comfortable right away, and eased me into moves I found difficult, but doable. It was dip fun that before I knew it I was sweating up a storm and had a few new pole tricks up my sleeve. I will definitely be back for more, and I recommend crash academy to anyone of any fitness level.

It is completely worth the 8+ hour round trip (we have done this one day trip many times). The Kwaks are top notch dancers and teachers who really know how to produce amazing results. My daughter usually takes a private lesson and then evening classes when we drive out. Mr. Kwak helped encourage my daughter after she had a horrible summer intensive experience at a top ballet school out of state. He truly believes in his students and wants to see them progress to the best of their abilities. My daughter has also taken their summer intensive. She grew exponentially in technique and confidence in two weeks. Their prices are extremely reasonable (maybe a bit low-- but don't tell them I said this ) especially for the quality received, and we just love them. Let me say that this is a serious ballet studio. In the world of ballet, if you don't get corrections, it means you aren't learning anything and that the teachers don't really care about your progression. The corrections Mr. Kwak gives my daughter are detailed, logical and gentle. Ms. Yoomi does tend to be very strict, but this is because she loves her students and cares that they learn. If anyone takes the time to get to know this couple, they will see how much they care for their students. If you want for you or your child to only have fun and be told everything is right, this is not the place for you. If you want to learn, grow and progress in this artform, this is an amazing place to do so.

It's a shame that no one has updated the website and they are still taking online credit card payments for reservations. Now let's hope my credit card will refund the payment.

Turned up for the class and the studio was locked up nobody there, tried calling the phone number another few times again no response. It's a shame I would love to take salsa classes but on first impression this is a very poorly run business with zero communication skills. They should not advertise classes that are not happening so people don't waste their time in future.
