The Downtown Summerlin location is also a plus - very convenient and lots of things to do for waiting parents. We particularly like the Saturday morning farmers market. We've taken our son here on and off since he was 3 and it's really grown on us. I will say when we first started coming here I didn't find the front desk staff to be particularly friendly but some people just aren't warm fuzzy people, and take some time to warm up. Since then I've found that everyone we encounter is helpful and so sweet with my son. They're also super quick to respond to email! My son (almost 5) has tried hip hop, mini musical theater, and summer camp. Even though he has a fear of dancing in front of people (and is not keen on ballet, tap, or jazz) he LOVED the summer camp. So much so he went 3 weeks and by the 3rd week he insisted on going full day. He loved all of the crafts and playtime, he was a fan of freestyle dancing, and most of all absolutely loved the teachers. I only know the head teacher, Maddie K., but the teens that helped out were equally wonderful. He was always so happy to see all of them. The teens that did check in and out were always so sweet as well. Now I have to say my personal favorite class was mini musical theater. The year he was enrolled they did Annie. I would watch a bit while in the waiting area and was always amazed at how under control the class was. These are 3-5 year olds! And they would sit and stand where they were asked, and would wait their turn. It was so cute to see them all learning the dance moves. Overall very impressed with the level and professionalism while still keeping it fun for little ones. We'll be back to try hip hop again this year, as we were not impressed with it during the trial class he took over a year ago. The teenagers teaching didn't have a good grasp on the students and it was a bit chaotic. Last but not least, it's such a great opportunity for kids to learn from true professionals, many of whom are still working for shows on/off the strip. read more

Parents!!!! Please be cautious if you bring your child here. My daughter auditioned and got a part in the play 101 Dalmations. First day of rehearsals, the instructor named Michael took all the children to a far back room without any windows or any parent involvement. I mistakenly trusted this instructor and this studio. My daughter told us after rehearsal that day that the instructor had the kids line up (mind you these are young kids!!!) and form a line in which he proceeded to instruct them to massage one another's shoulders. Yes you read that right... a massage train! As if that wasn't enough for me to know this is so inappropriate somehow a conversation about what body parts you use to sing went below the waist! I obviously was very upset hearing in detail what the conversation was like, I immediately messaged the studio for the owner to call me! The next day the manager Christine called me and I told her everything my daughter had said and that my daughter will not be returning to the play. Christine listened to what I said and told me there are cameras with audio in every room so they will definitely review the footage. About 4 days later after I hadn't heard anything I called and asked her what she found. She totally dismissed everything by saying the massages are completely normal and very common in this industry!! After I had time to digest everything I asked to see the video footage myself. One of the owners Tori contacted me and we scheduled a time to see the video footage. I met him in his office at the studio (about a month after the incident) and he wasn't able to get the footage up. Frustrated I asked how he watched it since he said he saw it all and nothing was out of line or out of the ordinary he said he saw it at home with better internet. He said he would ask IT for help downloading the video so that I can view it and he would get right on it. Well it has now been just a couple days shy of 2 months and they still have not shown me the video!! One of the rudest and incompetent management staff. The dance instructors are good no doubt, but the managing staff, in particular the older brunette lady is extremely rude. Having given advance notice of absence, they are still trying to cram their 1 month policy down your throat. I had told the staff previously, and they said to remind them before we are taking a hiatus, so it is exactly what I did and she was being completely rude about it and Then she proceeded to bark at me about the waitlisting and how they may not have a space available etc... just to be an ass. It's not our fault if the younger staff they have at the front weren't trained by the managing staff. Well, I will probably end up taking my daughter elsewhere anyhow if they are going to treat customers like this. read more

The brunette lady at front of management was brusque, unfriendly and bordering on the unhelpful. My daughter took tap classes there for three months before I decided we couldn't put up with them any longer. The tap teacher always started the classes between 5-10 mins late but always managed to finish 5 mins early (and at nearly $25 a class that's about $5 dollars worth of the class!! She also wore taps shoes to teach the kids only once, opting for sneakers the rest of the time! How can a child learn tap from you when she can't hear your beats?? Sunday the 21st I along with my two daughters attended a 1:00 production of "Freaky Friday", at this studio. Seating left a bit to be desired but we settled in (I seated my daughters 10/8 directly behind me so they could see a little better) and prepared for the show. In the opening scene a woman in the very back row (a seat between her and my eight year old) AGGRESSIVELY grabbed my shoulder and snapped at me that my eight year old would have to go because she kept getting up and down out of her seat and that can't be happening! LITERALLY FIRST SCENE minutes into the show! The way she snapped at me and as I said very aggressively grabbed my shoulder you would have thought my daughter was screaming or something but I was sitting directly in front of her and hadn't heard anything. Even though I was a bit thrown off I still asked my daughter to just settle down. She was now crying because of the way this woman acted. She was in the far right corner of the very last row and had on a black sweat suit with the name of the studio on it in red and dark hair and seemed to be communicating with a man running equipment for the play. As the play went on people around us were talking, stomping feet, getting up and down and she NEVER said ANYTHING to them! I eventually turned and just stared at her and then she got really nasty and said, "What are you looking at? Can I help you with something? You got something to say?" To which I remained quiet and just shook my head at her. She finally went back to texting on her phone. Then SHE dropped her water bottle making the LOUDEST of all noises to which I just turned to look at her and again shake my head at her rudeness and complete hypocrisy! The performers were fantastic and did a fabulous job but we left before the end because my daughter had to use the restroom and I had absolutely no desire to deal with that woman after we got back. In addition, while the performers did a fantastic job, some of the subject matter was not quite elementary material (a bit racy) and I intended to leave during intermission. That being said, if she works here she is a HORRIBLE representative and if this is how patrons are treated I'd hate to be an actual dance family. If your child is 7 or under it's basically just an hour babysitting class. There is no real structure to the class. The waiting area is ridiculously uncomfortable. Let me say that I called this dance studio because pricing wasn't terrible and it was close to our home. My daughter has been dying to try ballet for over a year now (thanks covid). So we saw that she could her a free week trial to test diff classes. She signed up for a Friday evening class because they had availability. When I booked the class over the phone the lady was so super sweet and helpful. Now my daughter is in 1st grade and gets out of school at 330. We jammed over to the studio and walked in the doors & really no one was there to help. Multiple people were sitting at desks but no one approached us. I finally went up to a group of ladies and asked them about my daughters class.. I explained to them this was our first time and my daughter needed to change into her leotard & tights. She simply told us where the bathroom was and said to read the board on what class room number she was in. Now being a first timer it would have been nice for someone to walk us where we needed to go (just saying). Or at least show us this board of classes. Now we were rushing because of the fact my daughter had just gotten out of school so we did have to change quickly and get her to her room. The door was closed so I opened it up and walked my 6 year old in. Not 5 min later the lady from the front told me if the door is closed I am not to open it (again first timer). So we apologized and waited outside the room. Thankfully, my daughter loved the class. After dealing with a pretty rude staff I don't know if we will be back. I would love my daughter to go back but they really should work on communication skills and maybe take into consideration that most parents are just trying to figure out what's going on coming to a new place. Hopefully they can figure that one out so we can go back to a class my daughter had fun in. read more

I was so excited about this place. You take your littles to dance and afterwards you go grab dinner on site. If you need to run an errand during that hour everything it there. This location is a mothers dream! The studio is nice but the common area is a circus. There just isn't enough room for pickup, drop off and those observing. Actually it is a disaster waiting to happen. My ballet little loved her class while my acro little preferred gymnastics. I wanted so much to love this place. Oh and I forgot to mention...while checking in I asked for scissors to cut the tags off my ballerina's shoes (pulled out of a Target bag). Cut them off and put them on her, walk her to her class then walk my son to his in the separate part. I come back later to the desk to ask some questions and a different lady chimes in with "oh let's go ahead and charge you out for the shoes". At first I was confused, then chuckled and stated "those were from Target" to which the lady replied "oh they are the same we sell here". Wish I could give a one star. Terrible. Walked from my house to possible sign my 8 year up for a class. Looked online and was confused by just the massive schedule and times. Didn't see any problem with someone walking in for some human contact. Wrong! This woman at the counter was rude. No like really rude! She was not all into seeing a beautiful black family come into there. My daughter just wants to dance but looks like us blacks aren't welcome. Good ole Summerlin for you. We complain about wanting to be treated fairly and then my eight year old Experiences this. If I were a younger woman she would have been dragged, but thankful I'm an adult and can't let my daughter see people's actions affecting you. I just spoke to Beth on the phone in regards to setting up my five-year-old and seven-year-old daughters in hip-hop and ballet and she was extremely helpful! I was a little hesitant because of the negative reviews but thought I would just give it a try and she was extremely accommodating, took the time to explain to me different class schedules and the difference between what the different classes Intel, along with pricing. Possibly she should be the manager, lol! But in all seriousness, customer service is THAT important, especially when you're a mom trying to figure all this sport/dance stuff out. First night of Hip Hop class... ...I was walking my daughter out of the studio... ... and she stopped. Looking at me, she said, "Dad... I LOVED it!" Seriously, this place is awesome. Dance Dynamics is the third (and final) dance studio we've taken our kiddo to. Far and away, the best we've seen. Here's why: 1. The classes are great. My daughter LOVES them 2. Great dance for my 7 year old- they have LOTS of classes- we loved-musical theater, ballet, acro, jazz...

My daughter has been dancing ballet since she could walk and loves ballet. When we moved to Las Vegas last year, she wanted to continue her lessons so we signed her up at Dance Dynamics. They asked us if we wanted her to be in the recital in June and we told them that she would want to be in the recital 5 times in writing. They still did not have her down to be in the recital until a month before. We had to order her a costume for the recital and were told it would take a few weeks to arrive and that she would have to borrow a dress/costume of someone who dropped out of the recital for pictures, dress rehearsal, etc. After pictures my daughter returned the borrowed dress/costume to the General Manager (who has been incredibly rude and frigid with every dealing btw). When we asked if her actual dress/costume has arrived, the General Manager told us that she did not return the borrowed dress and that they "could not comment" on if her ordered dress had arrived or not. Dealing with this person has been an uphill battle and if my daughter didn't love her ballet teacher so much, I would pull her out. I looked to see if this company was registered with the BBB so I could file a formal complaint, but of course they are not. The GM is a complete nightmare to deal with. I DO NOT recommend you send your children here - Avoid this place if you can! read more

These guys are the real deal. We spent over 10 years at another studio and we are disappointed and sad that we waited so long to move to a new progressive, trendy, state of the art studio like Dance Dynamics. Here they focus on technique and they genuinely have a love for teaching the kids. They are not focused on winning studio of the year as their only conquest but rather ensuring that the children.....the real purpose of teaching these kids....seems to be the ultimate goal. They have a very professional staff and an excellent front office that is very willing to listen to you and explain in detail. Unlike other studios that see the kids as a money churn or the parents as a checkbook that is good Dance Dynamics have a more personal approach. Finally, and most importantly, the teachers have strong pedigree and fundamentals of dance and are willing to listen and enter into a discussion about your children. Overall if your looking for a place that is progressive, tech savvy and has a great environment and location then you have found the right fit! read more

Love this studio!! So clean, and such a wonderful staff/team. So happy we found them! They have a ton of classes to chose from and the recital was amazing last year. My daughter gets excited each week to see her friends and teacher. Can't wait for my daughter to try Contemporary next year! I love that they have camps and adult classes as well. We just came home from the 2019 recital and could not be happier with DD. We have had our 6 year old and our 3 year old enrolled for just one season and have been thrilled to watch their skill, coordination, and self-confidence blossom. The instructors and staff are truly amazing as well. They take the time to get to know each kid, and seem genuinely interested in who they are as individuals. Yes they teach them to dance, but they also teach them that with honest hard work, perseverance, and a positive attitude - anything is possible. Bottom line - when our kids come home from an hour lesson and spend the next hour dancing in our living room, we know DD is the right place for them. read more

My daughter has taken dance classes at several different places; this is definitely the best! Been here over a year now. The teachers and staff are fantastic, and everyone feels like family. They work hard, play hard, and bring out the best in each other. I'm so proud of the way my daughter has developed at Dance Dynamics - athletically, socially, and so much more! In my experience, the focus at this dance studio is on the older kids that have been dancing a while. The recital was very poor. The dances that featured the younger kids were very poor. The kids did not know what they were doing. If you have a young child looking to start dance for fun I would look elsewhere. read more

So happy that we found ms Stephanie again!!!! My daughter has danced with her for years and when she opened up her own studio we missed her. By far one of the best jazz and ballet teachers ever!!!!! We just moved back into town after a 1 1/2 of being gone. My daughter wanted to switch gears from all-star cheer to dance. She has struggled with anxiety and nerves of moving back. Instantly, she was overwhelmed with happiness and confidence at Dance Dynamics. Hands down the best thing that has happened to her with our choice of moving back. It's so wonderful to see her smile and see her growing friendship's and confidence.
