Now, I am not from the area, so it was all a new experience to me, but this being the original and seeing pictures posted on the walls from when my father and his siblings were experiencing this area as teenagers definitely brought on some good feelings. Reading about the history of the place, I found some interesting things that I am going to be relating to some other relatives. My experience there was excellent. We all got some form of custard for the afternoon, and it all went down quite well. The staff handled us all coming in like a herd of buffalos with ease, and we all came out of there happy as clams. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in the area (doesn't happen very often, living in Florida and all). As for those relatives? Well, I am going to be recommending a visit to my cousin in Australia... turns out there is one overseas location in Canberra, Australia, where she happens to live, so that will be a fun "sharing" experience between us!

First the only close Arby's restaurant was…read moreall the way at the other end of town and second they tend to be a little pricy compared to some other options around. However this Arby's is new and much closer so I thought I'd give it a try The restaurant is nice and new and fairly easy to get to with plenty of parking. It was the lunchtime rush when I got there although not too crowded. The order line moved very fast and the food came out quickly I love that they have self serve refills on drinks and the ketchup and sauces are all self serve pumps where you fill those little paper cups. No having to ask for extra ketchup and no fooling with those little packets that always make a mess. I ordered a double cheddar beef sandwich which came with curly fries and a drink. The total price was just over $12. There are less expensive fast food places around but it's not outrageous by today's standards so it's definitely worth a try.
