I have been in the hunt for a great Hispanic grocery store and can't say I've found one yet. I…read moredecided to give this a try since there weren't any recent reviews and unfortunately I wasn't impressed. It was awesome that they had all the spices I grew up with and to see the bowls and jars and cups I would see on my trips to Tijuana, Mexico. The prices are pretty high for your typical queso fresco or Mexican sour cream. They do have pretty cool options for frozen meals as I saw empanadas and pupusas that were frozen. The meat section did not look appetizing and produce was looking a bit rough. I would say if you want to try Hispanic medicines then this is your spot. Such as Vicks or Beoncolin or honestly there are so many products that you'll find what you need. It is a very small space and noticed they opened a bakery/ restaurant next door. It smelled delicious just wish they had more options for bread.

I bought a churro and a sweet cream croissant-style pastry. Both were so good, I've been thinking…read moreof driving up there today to buy more. The churro was sliced length-wise and a filling added, making it delightfully gooey. The sweet cream croissant thingy had some crisp to it. It was more of the standard bready inside. It was some serious stuff. Please don't let the tame exterior or locaiton of this place cause you to overlook it! They also have a restaurant that looks promising. I'll edit this review after I try it.

Came here on a Friday night and it was very busy! There were plenty of seats inside as well and the…read morerestaurant is cutely decorated. We ordered Al pastor tacos (comes without pineapple), carne asada taco, esquites & a soup (can't remember what the name is) and i would say the food is decent here. The wait time is pretty long just an fyi. I would not recommend the esquites, it was really liquidity at the bottom and it was just too much mayo for me. I definitely had better. Other than that, the place is open pretty late so perfect for late night munchies.

When I got there, I went to the ordering counter, but nobody was there. I saw people cooking at the grill and in the kitchen, Im sure at least 3 people saw me standung there, but nobody came to help me. Thankfully, the phone rang so somebody came out. When I got my order, there was oil and sauce on the bag from dirty hands, but worst of all nothing tasted fresh. The tortilllas with the tacos were hard, the al pastor was dry, and the meat/onion ratio was heavy on the onions. The avocado was dark, lettuce was wolted and the limes did not produce much juice. I usually love Los Ocampos, but I won't be going back to this location.

Wanted to try a new place for Mexican Foods and what a diamond in the rough Casa Azul is. Located…read morein a strip mall off 35E the restaurant is small but very welcoming. The staff was extremely friendly and answered all our questions. The jalapeño margarita was perfection and truly one of the best I have ever had. The chips and salsa were fresh and our group inhaled them. The menu had many traditional options and some current items like the burrito bowl that my wife and daughter really enjoyed. I enjoyed the Chili Colorado and left nothing on my plate. We will for sure go back when in the mood for Mexican food and a margarita.

The one that blew my mind was the one made out of Hibiscus! Oh, so good! The Sevice was nice and willing to tell me about the drink. I like this place because I feel comfortable going here to relax by myself. Planning to bring my sister's. One of them said she has also been here too. Small place, but with comfortable darkness, takes you away from normal day outside life. I will be back to try a different drink. There is no drink menu yet, but one is coming. Would like the menu already available at the bar. I have to alway grab my menu because no one is at the front. Don't let that fool you. It's a nice place. 4 1/2 Stars.
