Super slow and not equipped to handle any type of crowd. I don't mind waiting for something good, but 30 minutes for a scrambled egg on a plate... Nah read more

Waited over an hour for our food when they said it would be 25 minutes. Even after all that time, the order was wrong, things were missing and half of the food was cold. Being busy is not an excuse for complete incompetence. There are plenty of other places in Montauk that can handle the crowds. Go to one of them for breakfast instead. read more

I have multiple food allergies. Joni's was able to accommodate all of them. I recently stayed in MTK for 5 days and I ate breakfast there all five days. The staff was kind and knowledgeable. My family members do not have allergies but they all found their selections to be quite delicious. Definitely recommend. read more

I stopped by Joni's recently for lunch while visiting Montauk with my mother and sister. I wasn't too hungry so I ordered the "little jack" off of the kid's menu. The sandwich was good - turkey, cheddar and avocado on very buttery whole grain bread. We all ordered smoothies - they both got the four play (watermelon, strawberry, mango and peaches) and I ordered the berry bliss (blueberry juice, strawberry, raspberry and banana). I enjoyed my smoothie and my sandwich, but it took them quite a bit of time to make the items. My mom and sister got their smoothies probably about 15 minutes earlier than I did and they placed their orders after me. It wasn't particularly busy so I was kind of surprised by this. All in all, the food and smoothies were good but the service was slow, and the prices are pretty steep - $14 for a small smoothie and half a sandwich. Be prepared to take your food to go as there is limited seating. read more

Came here with my wife because Goldberg's had a line out the door. Paid 26 bucks for my wife's breakfast wrap and my egg sandwich which was only four eggs and some horrible chewy bacon. Feel like a sucker for paying but it was running late and we were hungry. Don't recommend this place and will never go back read more

Nice menu display. Seems like it's going to be a quick place to eat. This was the quietest I have ever seen the place. We were 5 for lunch. Sandwich or salads all around. Very fresh and light fare. However it is very expensive for what you get. $105 for 5 people. read more

Walked to Joni's from our hotel for a quick, satisfying breakfast and instead spent $32 for two terrible egg "sandwiches" and two iced coffees. The sandwiches were tiny and my boyfriend's sausage egg and cheese had barely ANY sausage on it for $9.50. Such a joke. I was excited to stumble upon a place with some organic healthy options but this place is a huge disappointment - even the coffee wasn't good. read more

INSANELY overpriced and not so good. I'd be happy if it were great. We just paid $30 for 2 slices of banana bread, 1 breakfast wrap and 2 coffee's. The coffee is like water and the wrap was small and needed flavor. Banana bread is good. Going to Montauk bake shoppe now for coffee and throwing away $5.50 coffee!! read more

What a disappointment. We loved this place 15 years ago but it is almost not edible now. No flavor at all. Over cooked fish and meat. Dry burritos. Go elsewhere if you want fresh flavorful food. read more

went there this morning. ordered two bagels with butter. For some reason, the girl started to toast them, I told another worker to tell her not to toast them so she did. I also ordered a decaf coffee. I walked all the way to the beach and sat down only to find both bagels toasted anyway!!! They had a smear of butter on them as if they were rashoning it. When I drank my coffee, it was filled with coffee grinds. Worse bagels and coffee ever!!!!! read more

Don't bother. Just don't bother. It's ok food that costs 3x what it should and takes 4x longer than it should. On a bright side though, they seem to have about 200 people that work there. So at least they are helping people get work. read more

Delicious sandwiches and wraps with friendly service. Healthy but hearty. A little expensive but it's Montauk, everything is.

I'm so long overdue for this review, but I'm heading out East soon so it reminded me... Joni's is a dream for anyone who eats gluten free. They make incredible GF breakfast wraps, and countless GF baked goods. The line can be a nightmare, but it's well worth it. read more

Nice fresh food and great smoothies. There are a lot of options (healthy ones too). Cute inside and there's outdoor seating too. Try the Wake Me Up smoothie. read more

I don't even want to give this place one star. I've been coming to Montauk my entire life and this place is just another tourist trap for wanna be hipsters that come from the city and crowd Montauk. This is my second experience at Joni's the first one wasn't so bad so I decided to go back. Well I ordered two bacon sausage egg and cheese wraps and an iced coffee and they charged me $32. I am used to Montauk being expensive but that is just disgusting. I then waited almost an hour to get these two lousy wraps and the girl behind the counter almost gave my order away to another person with my name, thank god I was standing right there. I got my order home and it was wrong and there was about enough ingredients in the wrap for a $4 breakfast. I will never, ever eat here again. Stay far away unless you like starting your mornings with aggravation and being ripped off. read more

Food was good, service took forever and my boyfriend found a small, warped piece of metal that looked like someone's discarded nose ring in his smoothie. The staff was gracious about it and gave us our $5 back, but it wasn't really an adequate gesture considering the grossness factor. Probably won't be back next time we're in Montauk. read more

Rude, overrated and overpriced. We visited today and several times in the past but after paying $35 for 2 sandwiches, chips and 2 small lemonades -- and receiving ultra rude service on top of that from the countrer dude - we're not likely to come back. The Budda Budget was dry and under-seasoned, and overpowered by a HUGE bun. And the curried chicken salad wrap could have used more flavor. When we asked the price of the large lemonade, the counter dude grunted like it was some huge inconvenience to ask. And when our friend ordered, she asked if any lettuce came on her order (because she can't eat it due to a medical condition), he responded: "I don't know." Really??? Even though the place seems like a fave with the locals, it's not worth the steep pricetag and defintely not worth the attitiude. read more

Joni's has been around for 20 years and I've been going ever since it opened. I've never left unsatisfied, everyone there is always so sweet to me and my family. The food is so so good and the smoothies are amazing!!!!!! They have great vegan options and kids menu. Ask any local and they will tell u the same thing. It's truly an amazing place read more

Great food, large choice of healthy vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options along with the "regular" dishes. The smoothies are excellent and the cookies and cakes very yummy. The place is cute and cosy. Service could easily be improved though. read more

Yum!!! The food here is amazing! The wait to order was long and the wait for the food to come out was even longer. It was definitely worth it but don't stop here for a quick bite cause you may be waiting over an hour. They really should figure out a better system cause it gets so crowded inside waiting for the food. They just yell names and every hungry person comes running hoping it was their name. But man was my breakfast awesome. read more

Best food ever amazing service The salad is really good the owner is very nice and it's in a great location so you can get takeout and go to the beach read more

Cramped place, long lines and extremely slow service; took over 1 hour from the time we ordered to get our "take out" wraps...definitely not worth it! read more

Food was delicious but my friend order a chicken salad wrap and it took 40 minutes to make. We aksed multiple times where it was, and it turns out the whole time it was sitting under the counter. The ordering/serving system is not very good. read more

Food was fine. Experienced not so friendly interaction with staff. I had placed a coffee order online (not knowing that they dont complete JUST coffee orders as they get cold as it waits for pick up, they could update their website). I went to pick up window and was simply going to ask if they had recieved my online order. Mind you, I get the whole COVID rules and face mask requirements. I pulled my mask partly down so she could acknowledge/hear me,the young lady (looked as if she was a freshman in HS) snapped back, "where is your mask? How about we start there 1st. How about that?". I was initially shocked. She could have simply said,"Sir. Can you do me a favor and place your mask on". I would have happily complied. Takes a second to be courteous. Didnt recieve that. Let me also say, however, it wasn't empty, they were fairly busy. She, the employee, was busy. It doesn't help that there isnt rhyme or reason as to HOW they screen customers with online orders vs walk ups, the 1st come/1st serve they do just creates a bit of chaos. Anyway. We've been coming to Montauk and visiting Joni's for a couple of yrs now. 1st time I've been disrespected that way. read more

I was really excited when I found Joni's. I loved the menu online. The decor and ambiance is adorable. I took my kids there for lunch today. There were a few people online and we read the daily menu and explored the baked goods while waiting. We ordered two smoothies, an açaí bowl, a kids quesadilla and a grilled chicken peace wrap. The bill was $49. We received a buzzer and We waited patiently as the line grew. I saw many customers coming in and out checking on there orders. I saw many people grab a smoothie and walk out. There seemed to me no order to the line and the order in which food was put into the completed. Several people in front of me complained of wait times and wrong orders. After 39 minutes with three hi hey little ones I decided to check on my order. The gentleman handing out the orders didn't understand English well. I asked him to check our order and he shook his head. I then again showed him our buzzer and said can you please check this order and he said sit down and i will call u. I waited 5 mins and went to the register and asked the woman to check my order whom had originally took it. She could not find it. She started making the smoothies and left the registered with a line. After getting our smoothies she said the rest would be out shortly. And within the next 10 mins we received the rest of the order. It was apparent something had gone awry and had i not asked i don't think we would have even received our order. The smoothies were good. The chicken wrap was tasty but had hard chewy chicken. I get it when. Ur on vacation it's busy and expensive. But attitude and service have to be on part of a review. I would love to have had a different experience but it was and not a good one and the food wasn't great. read more

Go-to spot for Gluten Free breakfast in Montauk. Ole ole is super tasty esp with hot sauce. Smoothies

Just so overpriced. Good food not for kids at all and just way too expensive for lunch.

Great vegan/vegetarian options for breakfast. Service was a little slow but the food was good.

Great, great breakfasts and lunches! The Smokin Jack's are unreal, I've probably had 100's of them over the years and every one of them were excellent. I'll give you some advice...call your order in and pick it up. The place gets jammed in the summer and this will help you eliminate the wait. Once you have this down, the place is pure heaven! read more

If I could give no stars I would. Good wasn't too bad but we just got chia pudding, granola, fruit, coffee and a smoothie. All of which came to $40. Now the smoothie was awful. I went back in and told the guy behind the counter very politely that I couldn't drink it. I wasn't even expecting an exchange but first he made out like he couldn't understand what I was saying. I had to say it again and even then he made out like he couldn't hear me. Then said yeh I don't like that smoothie either and shrugged. Baring in mind he had been so unfriendly since we walked in. Shoved some coffee cups at my boyfriend who looked bewildered. The said yeh just take it from there and pointed to some coffee canteens. Then when he gave us the food told us nothing. We stood there looking around for utensils and finally saw them over near the door. I mean for the first morning of our getaway this sucks. Don't come here. Unless they get rid of that guy. read more

Horrible experience. Our lattes were luke warm and the acai bowl was really bad and while ordering everyone kept returning their acai bowls since they were too liquid and not tasty as they. Also, we were charged two times for same item and would not have realized if we had not asked for the receipt. On top of that, it is too expensive compared to nearby places. read more

Joni's was one of my favorite places to grab breakfast and lunch for years until recently. My boyfriend's sandwich was missing 3 of the ingredients listed, my salad came with no dressing, and my smoothie which was supposed to have no maple syrup as I am a type 1 diabetic most definitely had the added maple sugar. The orders have come this way for the last 2 years (3 times) we've been in. Def will stick to naturally good from now on read more

A local spot. Beat the rush and jump out of bed a little early to get a hearty breakfast and fresh baked goods. Coffee and smoothies galore. The restaurant has a very fresh vibe and great for vacationers read more

Food is good, nothing I would call special. The main reason I wouldn't go back is the wait time. We came here twice in the span of a few days, and both times the we waited quite a while. The frustrating part the second time was that Joni was there and had a big group of her friends & family cut the line and put in a sizable order that probably cost us another 10 minutes of an already 30 minute wait for our food. I think what made it particularly unbearable is that the food was nothing that I needed to wait 30 minutes for and the restaurant was like an oven that day, so I'm sitting there waiting and waiting and waiting, baking and waiting for my food. At least three other sets of customers around me were also extremely frustrated with the wait time and the situation (it wasn't just me being impatient or petty!!). They do get the smoothies out fairly quickly, and one woman who had waited 20+ minutes for her food AFTER her smoothies were given to her asked them to remake the smoothies because they had become melted, soupy and separated... If you go, just be prepared to wait a long time for good, not great, food... read more

3.5 for joni's! there food is very very good. it is very cleansing and healthy. although, the service is extremely rude. they speak broken english and do not know how to speak to costumers. i was slightly in shock how rude the servers were. read more

Big fan of Joni's, I love the vibe. The wait for our order took a little longer than expected, but the quality was great.

Ordered a breakfast wrap and added on avocado - they charge an extra $5 for this! Ate half of my wrap and realized they didn't put avocado in it at all. Was too lazy to go back in because it was completely packed and I had already eaten half. If you go, make sure you check your order! read more

Best organic and healthy food in all of Montauk by far. Food is fresh and delicious...have had breakfast and lunch there and it has been consistent and amazing. Service is done with a smile and the owner is so kind and cares about what she does. If there's a line it's certainly worth the wait. Wish they were open year round with multiple locations!! read more

Really delicious and healthy food. Gave 3 stars because it takes forever, they only take cash, and I've had several bad experiences with employees. If they mess up an order they are extremely rude about fixing it. read more

Expect a long wait on the weekend. Waited fourty minutes for burned and cold toast. The staff needs some quality training.
