Jonathan's did a fabulous job in providing us with a private room for 31 guests with servers who provided us excellent service and good food. The only reason I didn't give them a 5 is because I had made this reservation 6 months in advance, sent several reminder emails to confirm, and still didn't have 100% access to the private room at our reserved time. They had seated one table in the room too late, and although the guests at that table tried to finish quickly (and even shared emotions with us of cousins, nieces and nephews reuniting after many, many years), our guests were left standing and waiting for the table for too long! This IS a sport's bar (first and foremost) so "noisy" is to be expected, but the courteousness of the staff and the quality of the food were refreshing and much appreciated! We'll definitely return on our next trip to Spring Hill, TN. read more

We actually didn't eat here, and the teenagers that were running the hostess stand are the reason why. They told us it was be a 15 minute wait so after 15 minutes when we noticed no one was being seated we checked in. There was a shrug shoulders and a "nope it's still 15 more minutes." There's so much competition in this area that we just walked out and went to somewhere where there was no wait. Why is the margherita flatbread swimming in oil? Each piece I picked up had oil dropping off it and caused the flatbread to get very soggy. Unfortunately the server did nothing to attempt to correct the situation after I questioned why there was so much oil on it. Eh. Husband ordered a BBQ burger, requested it to be cooked medium. It was so over-cooked that even I thought it was bad (and I prefer well-done meat). I ordered a pizza - grilled chicken and herb. It was dry. No cheese?! Very little chicken, heavy on the "herb", which was a dry seasoning that was applied heavy-handedly to the whole thing. Crust was well cooked, but flavorless. One of my children ordered the pretzel appetizer. Those were great. He orders pretzels everywhere and these were the best I've tried. Unfortunately, tasty pretzels are not enough to bring us back to this restaurant. Also, service was slow despite it being pretty empty. Staff was standing around chatting. Absolutely awesome! Took a group there for dinner and they doubled down on the beers as well :) I had the fajitas which were good but I kinda missed all the typical Mexican stuff like rice and beans. My colleague had the red roasted chicken which looked phenomenal, and another had the roasted pepper pasta which looked like a good choice. I always enjoy Jonathan's. The beer selection and the food is always good. The issue is the environment itself. I'm sorry but when you go into a restaurant you really prefer to not be so climate impaired that your nose is running because it's so cold. I get it, I'm 55 and I know the blood is thinner and all that crap but I seen multiple people talking about the temperature. Why should you be physically cold with other guests? No one wants to complain to the staff as it's not their fault and they have no control. So management, stop for a second and think about the folks that are providing everyone employment. I want to start off with a positive. The food is good and our server was very polite and had a great smile. However the greeting team when you come through the door not so much. There was 3 standing there only one young lady had a smile and a greeting. We were seated and our server came over very nice as I already said. Took our order and as we sat waiting, there was 5 young men standing at the computer where they input orders joking and playing around while others were having to side step around them. Let's start with the husband and I don't get many date nights and finally got a chance this weekend. We decided to eat here on Friday and it was a great experience. Our waiter Russ was patient and accommodating. His manager Briana also super polite and welcoming. The food was really good as well. Fresh ingredients! I used to enjoy coming here. Restaurant and sports bar, conversations and pro/college games. Now you can barely hear yourself think after about 8 PM, much less talk, over loud club music instead of play by play. It's definitely not the chill place I used to enjoy, and I can't imagine families care for this as a later meal destination. I have likely made my last stop here. Better than the rest. Different menu items compared to Logan's, O'Charleys, and Applebee's. This isn't your average steakhouse but instead offers a variety of menu options that are out of the ordinary. I've tried the "Bistro Burger" , the " Horseshoe" , and the Steak Sandwich. The burger wasn't anything special, just meat and bread. However the Horseshoe was like a deconstructed chili burger topped with fries. Last, the steak sandwich was the best I've eaten since Samboli's first opened. Salads are well prepared and fresh. We tried the nachos as an appetizer and found them to be delicious. My wife had the grilled chicken but wasn't impressed. She then tried the chicken tenders and enjoyed those. But she really liked the chicken quesadilla. Service was great, well prepared for the crowd they had each day. Refills are amazing as they place a pitcher of what you're drinking at the table so you can refill when you need to. I'm not saying this place is without flaws, the burger wasn't great and I'll likely not have another.
