So let me start off by saying I initially was looking for an appointment at the Riverside location…read more I live in the IE. After my initial phone call to the Riverside, and then days later sending an email to them, I received a call from Terry at the Irvine location. Terry immediately addressed my concerns I put in the email. He also alerted me that I was misinformed my the Riverside location, about not being able to self-refer when I have PPO insurance. My husband was/is going through a medical emergency and I was attempting to establish care and an appointment for him to get checked out. If it was not for Terry being thorough/detailed, proactively securing my husband's medical records by me answering a couple of questions, overall kind, attentive, and we would not have gotten in to see a doctor until the following week. We were booked next day, with Terry's help. As a result, I opted to make the drive from the IE to Irvine, instead of the Riverside location the very next day. Good medical practices are very hard to find these days. Terry actions demonstrated compassion and understanding of my concerns of not having my husband wait any longer for an examination. Thank you Terry! Additionally, our appointment was for 12pm. The doctor was prompt and thorough as well. The receptionist that check us in was also prompt, thorough, she showed concern when it appeared that my husband's oxygen was a tad bit low. Said for him to relax, lay back in the recliner and she would get the doctor in right away. I sincerely appreciate the team here. I'm glad Terry called. Thanks you to everyone we encountered last week.

I would not recommend Newport Children's Medical Group. Years ago we went to the Laguna Beach and…read morethe Newport office, their organization and professionalism was a struggle, so we decided to not return to this practice. Several years later, when our pediatrician sold his practice, we thought we'd give Newport children's medical group another try. Again, the Newport office is disorganization, and Dr. Kellum was truly a disappointment. There was no follow-through, the doctors and office staff do not return your phone calls, when a referral is needed, they don't get back to you, which means you can't see a specialist, because the doctor's office doesn't get back to you with the referral. I am not one to leave negative reviews, but when it comes to your child's health and safety, I will spend the time to leave a review to share my experiences.

This man is a danger to patients. I was so relieved when our regular doctor returned back to work, and my husband was safe again. If I could leave a minus-star review, I would.

They've got a pretty good and organized system down. I recommend if you're coming here as a first time patient to be prepared to wait a bit because it does take time for them to run through insurance, prepare, etc. The front staff members are super inviting and kind. Every time I come for immunotherapy, Robert is super kind and very helpful. I appreciate his patience and awesome customer service skills. Immunotherapy is the best decision I've ever made and I'm so glad I went with this facility. Check-in, wait for your name to be called, get your injections, wait 15 minutes, get a final check and then you're on your way. My allergies have significantly reduced since starting treatment and I encourage anyone considering to do it. Dr. Lee is super patient and kind. Probably one of the most welcoming doctors I've ever met. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and provides ample solutions to getting you treatment where your concerns are. My biggest advice for anyone trying to set appointments or change them: if they don't pick up, it's because they're genuinely busy. If you're stopping by for immunotherapy already, it's best to just talk to the front desk while you're there to make your appointments or changes, and to pay any outstanding balances you may have.

We've been with this practice for a couple of years and the last time we were due to run out of serum, we were given a form to sign and authorize insurance to renew. Today we went to go get our shots and were advised that our serum had expired since our last injection several weeks ago but no one had advised us or had us sign the required authorization form. Even more disappointing is that we've had several conversations within the last month with Dr. Carr as well as office staff regarding our pending relocation and the process for transferring our existing serum to the new practice. Unless you want to add managing your allergy serum expirations to your already busy schedule, I suggest finding another provider until this office management improves
