I booked her when my baby was 3 weeks old (and as I found out, it wasn't a good idea; my baby was too alert for the photos so if you are still pregnant and reading this, please arrange a booking with Jacqueline ahead of your delivery and she will work with you to get the baby in within the first week). Nevertheless, she was patient with my baby and tried to calm her and soothe her to get the photos done properly. When you walk into the studio, you have to take off your shoes which I appreciate because she would like to keep the studio as clean as possible for the babies. She has a changing station and has numerous outfits, hats, blankets, etc, all the accessories she might need to take beautiful photos, all properly and neatly organized for you to choose from. Jacqueline has great taste so, if you depend on her to come up with beautiful poses for your baby, you won't regret the outcome. She also gives you the option to choose the colors and outfits and works with you to get beautiful photos. Once the photoshoot is done, Jacqueline sends you all the proofs to choose from. She then sent us pictures of her garden. Later, she sent us a questionnaire in which my (then) fiancé--Misselle--and I had the opportunity to answer questions about each other. Leading up to our engagement photo session, we were a bit nervous. (We didn't know what to expect.) But when the session started, Galaxie quickly eased our nerves by prompting us with our questionnaire answers. She brought us back to the present moment and began capturing our raw affection for each other, making sure not to overlook any of the surrounding details. The class is quite long so be prepared - and eat before because I didn't and I was starving! There were about 12 people in my class so it does take some time since he helps each person find each thing on their prospective camera and everyone has different settings. I wasn't a beginner beginner taking this class (have already been shooting on Aperture priority) but it definitely helped me understand more about settings I was already using. This is a good class if you're brand new to a camera, but also if you've been shooting for a while but mostly on auto.
