Finally got a chance to try the Jollibee in Union Square! I swung by around 2 PM and was happy to find there was absolutely no wait time. The restaurant itself is kept really clean, which is always a plus. I ordered the 2-piece chicken meal with a side of their famous spaghetti. Honestly, it felt a tad expensive for what you get especially the spaghetti. I'm not entirely sure why it's priced the way it is since it's basically just standard noodles, a sweet ketchup-style sauce, a few pieces of cut-up hotdog, and a sprinkle of cheese. That said, the sweet flavor profile is quite unique and definitely hits a specific craving! As for the chicken, it was fried to absolute perfection with a great crunch. However, I felt it lacked seasoning on its own and tasted pretty plain unless I heavily relied on the gravy. I personally prefer my fried chicken with a bit more of a spiced kick (I usually lean towards Pollo Campero for that), but that's just my personal preference. Overall, a solid spot. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the neighborhood, but I probably won't go entirely out of my way for it.

My niece could not wait to come here as we had heard about it being all the rage worldwide! The iconic jollibee is adorable and there is truly a sense of joy to the food. Perfectly crispy chicken with great flavor! Bomb adobo rice with the perfect garlicky touch and the star was the ube pie! So yummy!!! We were at a hotel close by and so glad we got to come here and the lines were not bad.

I wonder if Jollibee has a bucket hat ? ( Questions in my mind)

It seems real as a store took years to open. I would wonder when this store would make a comeback to San Francisco after many years away. All I can think of is the Angel hair spaghetti and it's sweet sauce. I also was looking forward to their crispy chicken sandwiches and the adobo rice. It finally happened and this place opened in the Summer and now I had a chance to try it once more in SF. On a Summer stroll on Market street I landed by the armpit in SF at Jollibee. Inside the have menus which has everything from Angus cheese burgers to Peach Mango pies along with the purple yam Ube pies. I tried their Angel hair spaghetti and see if it was consistent with the other Jollibee locations. The Angel hair noodles were soft and the sauce a bit sweet with the cheese on top. I also had their fried chicken which was crispy and delicious with some gravy and not salty like some in SF. It is interesting it took over five years to open and the upstair seating is still not complete. Overall it was a pleasant surprise and it's worth going again. Go on a Summer stroll Market street in SF under the "sun"because the era of Jollibee in the city has" begun" its award wining fried chicken because they have "won" the best fast food fried chicken in America and in 2026 it's "number one " Have individual meals and family size to "share"you take it to go or grab a "chair" it is on Market street a few blocks from "Union Square" by the BART and the cable car stop you must try their spaghetti with "Angel hair"

So much hype, there was a mayoral welcome and huge lines on opening day! I have some memories of the old Jollibee on Mission Street that closed ages ago, so was excited for it to return to San Francisco. It seems like the fried chicken and the gravy are the stars! Chickenjoy: Seems to lean heavily into dark meat, drumsticks and thighs. Crispy batter and tender meat. By itself, maybe better than KFC (which is not always crispy) but not quite the gold standard of Popeye's. However, with gravy, it takes it to the next level! Gravy: A brown gravy that is full of umami. Is it beef or mushroom or chicken? I don't really know, but it doesn't matter. Adds an umami blast to the fried chicken, elevating it above the American competitors. Spicy Chicken Sandwich: If you want white meat, this is your best bet. Kinda like an oversized chicken tender. Nicely spiced, crispy batter and tender chicken inside. The spicy mayo and jalapeños gave a nice tang. Paired well with the spongy bread. Way better than the burger. Angus Deluxe Cheeseburger: With so much fast food burger competition, it's hard to really shine. I mean it's better than those burger pucks from McDonald's, but it doesn't quite live up to the freshness of In-n-Out. Lesson learned, stick with the fried chicken. Fries: Thin and crispy. Nice texture, but tasted kinda bland. How does McDonald's get their fries to taste so nice? Biscuit: Kinda generic biscuit, until it's dipped in the gravy. Then it sopped up tons of flavor! Jolly Spaghetti: Sweet spaghetti sauce with hot dog slices. Very unique. I kinda prefer more savory sauce and no hot dogs in my spaghetti, but I can appreciate the uniqueness. Mac & Cheese: Very cheesy. Kinda reminded me of Stouffer's. Not sure if it's worth the premium upgrade fee though, usually mac & cheese is standard. Adobo Rice: Rice with little bits of adobo meat and a soy vinegary taste throughout. Pretty unique. Mashed Potatoes: Felt like real potatoes, since there were little lumps. Same great gravy as you dip the chicken in. Though I think if you already have the gravy, this side is a bit redundant. Peach Mango Pie: Way better than those McDonald's apple pies. And these seem deep fried. The peach taste was more dominant than the mango, but still tasty. Pineapple Quencher: Kinda remind me of an aqua fresca. The pineapple juice was diluted with water and sugar, so it wasn't as tart and acidic as pure pineapple juice. No carbonation. Very refreshing.

Finally! Jollibee San Francisco on Market Street is open! This place has been "coming soon" for what feels like forever. I remember hearing about the planned opening almost 6 years ago, so it was pretty funny to finally see it actually open. And this was my first ever Jollibee! I went with their bucket of 6 pieces of spicy fried chicken. The chicken pieces were plump, juicy and had a really nice texture. The breading is quite different from the other fried chicken places around SF like Popeye's, KFC and Krispy Krunchy. Jollibee's breading is lighter and not overly coated, which I actually liked. The chicken itself was juicy and flavorful. That said, the fried chicken was a bit oily for my taste, especially toward the bottom of the bucket. I also tried their spaghetti because, well, you can't really go to Jollibee for the first time and not try the spaghetti. But this one was definitely not for me. The sauce was way too sweet for my taste. I know the sweet-style spaghetti is kind of a Jollibee signature, but I just couldn't get into it. So for me, the fried chicken was the winner here. Good juicy chicken, lighter breading and a nice spicy kick, although I wish it was a little less oily. First Jollibee experience and I'm glad I finally made it after all these years. The spaghetti wasn't my thing, but I'd definitely come back for the chicken. Pickup system was a complete mess.

Got myself a 2 piece chickenjoy with mashed potatoes and drink

After work today, I visited the new jollibee location to try their food. There was a small line outside for online pickup and another inside for in-person orders. I opted for the two-piece chickenjoy with mashed potatoes, biscuit, and a drink to go. Although I had to wait in another small line, both the online and in-person orders were quite fast. The restaurant was packed, and I believe they have an upstairs area with more seating, which I didn't get to explore. Noise level was moderate and modern interior. I tried my Togo food at home and found it to be about the same as the Daly City location. The chickenjoy was delicious, juicy, and crispy, and the gravy was perfect. However, I wished they had added a bit more gravy to the mashed potatoes. Also, the biscuit seemed a bit undercooked. Overall, I'll definitely return to this jollibee location if I find myself craving their food while in Union Square.

I love the aloha burger, i also tried to get my Jolliebee tumbler but they did not have it there. The service is polite and friendly. The place is jamming and unbelievably full it also has an upstairs but it's closed right now. It spacious and cute. It's close to bart , muni and cable cars. After 6 years its back so let's go.

Drumstick and thigh, coleslaw, gravy, biscuit was really good, mango pie (skip)

I ate at Jollibee 2 pc with 1 side (coleslsw). Chicken pieces were hugh and tasty. I was hungry. That biscuit had lots of butter and it was tasty. Cole slaw was good too. Don't know what to do with leftover gravy. Mango pie had no real fruit just the mango syrup. The cashier gave me a coupon right there to get $3 off. Cool. I will be back to try the burger and the ube pie. Cashier was very jollie.

    Burnt chicken lol?

Outside smells constantly like pee. Lines are not maintained very well. Food takes a while to make even if you order online. And my chicken was burnt on one side. Worst jollibee I've ever been to.

I forgot this location had just opened. The wad short so waited a few minutes and placed my order for a deluxe chicken sandwich. The sandwich was delicious and juicy and the staff was friendly and efficient getting the orders completed.

Came here on a Monday night around 6:30 pm. It's a week after their grand opening. There is still a queue to get in. We waited a few minutes like 20 min before getting in and then waited another few minutes before ordering. My friend wanted to try everything so we ordered a 12 piece chicken joy bucket ( 1/2 spicy 1/2 regular), 5 sides of Jolly spaghetti & Adobo Rice plus 5 pies of peach mango and Ube. We ate some of the chicken at the table there. I especially like putting adobo rice in skin and putting some gravy on top. Delicious. The place is small and compact so you can imagine fast food and small. It was busy as well. They don't carry all items as other Jollibee like no Palabok. I think Daly City still wins for me.

    Kevin L.

I got the spicy chicken sandwich and fries It was Not worth the wait. Food was okay Nothing special

    Lara J.

I think they run out of thick spaghetti pasta because their pasta is different from Daly city its thin . but chicken is good.

The crispy fries, with the saltiness of fresh Parmesan cheese and garlic, were devoured with forks making our mouths happy with each bite. I usually am a bit picky with what comes in my food, so I love that you can customize the burger to what fits your taste. All of the Super Dupers are great, but I believe what makes this one the best for me here is the elite costumer service and the chill environment. Every time I come in, I am always greeted and helped right away. The cashiers here always seem happy to help with questions and special requests. Also, most of the time, the restaurant is really clean which makes you feel safe about the environment your food is made in. The orange juice, however, was amazing definitely fresh and one of the highlights of the meal. The service was good. The staff was friendly and consistently checking in, which I appreciated. I saw staff members come back from bussing tables and go straight to handling bread and putting it into the toaster without washing their hands or putting on gloves. Watching someone go from handling dirty dishes to preparing food without washing their hands was extremely unsanitary and honestly disgusting. That completely changed my impression of the restaurant. The price was also outrageous for what I received. My corned beef hash, orange juice, and a $6.50 tip came out to around $43 for one person. I just don't feel the food and overall experience were worth that price. The good: great freshly squeezed orange juice and attentive service. The bad: questionable food handling practices and very high prices. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

I wanted something quick so I wouldn't miss my movie. There were more than eight people in line, but the line moved pretty fast. I ordered one taco for $3.95 with an additional Soft Tortilla for $0.50 on the side. I noticed the sign for Pollo Asado and decided to try this chicken instead of my usual chicken. The Black Beans were included with the Pollo Asado, and I ordered my other three usual sides--Mild Salsa, Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa, and Fajita Veggies--on the side. I used the extra tortilla to make my own mini burrito. I put the Pollo Asado, Black Beans, Mild Salsa, Roasted Chili-Corn Salsa, and Fajita Veggies onto the tortilla and wrapped everything together. It was a simple way to turn my taco order into a more filling meal while still keeping the cost low. Overall, Chipotle was a convenient choice since I was heading to the movie at AMC Metreon 16.
