Classic Filipino fast food staple. I missed being in a city that had a Jollibee, so I had to stop in for my signature Jollibee order: a 2 piece spicy chickenjoy meal deal with rice and a pineapple quencher. I placed the order in the app and picked it up in the drive through, and the process was so efficient! I was in and out in under three minutes. The fried chicken survived a 20 minute drive and was still crispy when I ate it. The pineapple quencher and peach mango pie were just as good as I remember. Can't comment too much on the ambiance since I didn't eat inside, but the flavors are definitely nostalgic. read more

Jolibee is the Asian version of Popeye's, Church's, and KFC. If you go in with those expectations, you won't be disappointed. The fried chicken was on the greasy side, much like Church's. The chicken nuggets were small and dry, and the BBQ dip had a strong tangy flavor, like vinegar. The mashed potatoes with gravy had nearly no flavor. My husband told me the fries were not great, and my biscuit left so much to be desired. We needed spoons, forks, and napkins, all of which could only be found behind the counter. Did it do the job? The people working are very kind and helpful 5 out of 5 I don't understand or even like forcing customers to use a kiosk and waiting in a long line for 1 employee if you have cash. In my personal opinion, it didn't really make it fast or effective. Horrible! Horrible! Horrible! They were out of the beef steak so OK fine I understand that they ran out so I order a burger with fries and a soda. Go to the soda machine there's no Pepsi so I get Sprite or their version of Sprite and it's just literally carbonated water so I get my money back for the soda they don't even put a sign up this is the soda is out. Didn't eat the food and the fries are cold and soggy even though I asked for them crispy and the burger was over salted it wasn't very good. The Trey they brought the food on was not lined and it was sticky so they didn't clean the tray before they reused it. All the tables and chairs are filthy and the soda machine won't drain so there was a lady out here with the cup dipping out nasty water and ice from the soda machine. Like they are too busy for this restaurant to be doing this bad. I voiced my concerns to the manager but I know he doesn't really care. I will not be back. I had to let this one simmer before writing--it's been almost two months sicne we tried Jollibee's special Korean BBQ menu, and I still have mixed feelings. We came in on a quiet weekday afternoon, around 3:45. The dining area was calm with only a few customers, but the kitchen looked packed--lots of staff bustling around, clearly busy prepping and cooking--seemed like they're fully-staffed. Naturally, we figured our food would come out quickly. Spoiler alert:it didn't. We ordered the Special Korean BBQ 3-piece meal the Korean BBQ Chicken Sandwich meal and of course, the Ube Pie for dessert. After paying, we got out pager, which ironically had a sticker asking us to "rate your experience." Well...the experience part was rough. Our wait time? A full 45 minutes. For fast food! We weren't alone either--several other customers looked just as restless. With that many people in the kitchen, it just didn't makes sense how slow things were moving. It was honestly baffling.by the time our food arrived, we were beyond hangry. Thankfully, the first bite turned things around. The Korean BBQ chicken was flavorful, tender as expected, and had just the right kick of heat and sweetness, it made me missed the Jollibee sweet chili wings back in the day 90s. The sandwich was just as good--juicy, messy, and satisfying. The Ube Pie? Always a win. So yes, the food was worth the wait--at least this once. I held off on writing this review because I didn't want my frustration to overshadow how tasty everything was. But I can't ignore that nearly hour-long agony of waiting either. Would I come back? It was busy for sure even the day after Christmas. The food was good along with the service. They employees could clean a little better. We got someone to clean our table, but they just walked past the soda area that also needed a wipe and trash picked up. The food was pretty good. The fried chicken with gravy hit the spot. The spicy fried chicken was pretty spicy, and all dark meat which I prefer. The adobo rice and jolly spaghetti were extra for the bucket meal. Made the pilgrimage to Jollibee as I was working in San Antonio for the day; I wish they had a location in Austin. I of course got the chicken with gravy with a side of Spaghetti. It's filipno style so its sweet but not as sweet as the packaged sauce you use at home. The breading seemed more than before but it's still moist and crispy even after an hour and half drive back home. I also got the palabok. Horrible experience, ordered a meal for 4 on the app and was told the order would be done by 5:17 pm. Got a notification that it was done at 5:17. so I show up and was going to go through drive thru to get the order but for some reason the drive thru was closed. I went inside to get my order and was told "Needs 4 mins for the order to be done" the time was 5:28 pm. I didn't get my full order done until 5:47 pm. furthermore the service was bad when I kept asking about the status of the order, they all looked confused. The food is good but not worth going back just to wait for an order that should've been done awhile ago. Overall, bad service and even horrible on timing. Service was friendly and tables were clean. We came a bit after lunch on a weekday and the food wait was 5 minutes. They had the kbbq Katseye collaboration special and it was spicy and flavorful. It was very crispy! Price-wise, it's more than your typical fried chicken place, but I liked how it wasn't greasy and there were interesting sides like spaghetti and palabok. I love the pineapple drink from here. Oh and the fried chicken is perfectly hot and juicy and goes great with the gravy. The original chicken is good but the spicy is better. It reminds me of the dirty rice that Popeyes used to serve before they betrayed us by getting rid of it in 2021. As far as their spaghetti goes, I admit I had very low expectations and thought that it was gonna suck but it was good, just different. Don't expect it to be mom and pop Italian restaurant good nor Olive Garden good. The sauce is a tad sweeter than regular spaghetti sauce and it has sliced hot dogs in it but it's superior to that canned Chef Boyardee crap that you get at a grocery store . Jollibee sent me an offer for $10 off of $30 so it was a good excuse to drive 19 miles from my home to dine there. I wanted to try the 6 piece Chicken Joy meal which came with 2 drinks and 2 sides. I upgraded the sides to Mac & cheese and Jolly Spaghetti. Unfortunately, my favorite drink, unsweetened iced tea is not served so I settled for Lipton raspberry tea. My sister tried the angus burger and said it was nothing special. The crispy fried chicken came in a holiday decorated bucket...so cute. The jollibee mascot wearing a Santa cap is adorable. I noticed that the distributor they use to get their chicken does not cut the chicken pieces at the joint. Two legs had 1 inch of bone from a thigh. One of the chicken thighs had 1/3 of the thigh bone chopped off so we missed some chicken meat on that piece. It'I didn't care for the sweet jolly spaghetti mixed with small pieces of hot dogs. The mashed potatoes contained 3 dark pieces of potato skins. The Mac and cheese had a good flavor, the best of the 3 sides. The appearance of the dining room ruined it for me. As we entered, we saw 2 tables that were dirty and the floor of the restaurant was dirty in several areas. There was a metal pole near the trash bin which had dirty napkins at the bottom. When we finished eating, I saw a team member cleaning a few tables. I don't think I'll be returning to Jollibee since there are so many other dining options. read more

We finally got to try the elusive Jollibee after wanting to for years. We were in and out of SA for a school event that was right around the corner so we decided to try it! Their spicy chicken joy (drumsticks) with gravy was delicious and I would get this again. They tasted like a more crispy, more juicy, and slightly spicier version of Popeyes and came with a unique peppery gravy. Everything else was meh. The spaghetti was sweet and tasted like hot dogs. It wasn't bad enough to throw away but a little side is over $4 and we didn't like it much. Not worth it. The palobak had a very strong fishy smell. It tasted like porky garlic with a hint of ocean. I did not enjoy this at all. The chicken tenders were fine. Your average chicken tenders. Nothing wrong with them but expensive for what you got. The spicy chicken sandwich had a little heat, but lacked any depth of flavor. Popeye's spicy chicken sandwich is better. The peach mango pie was fine. Sweet and fried dough. Take it or leave it. This is a east asian/polynesian style fast-food fried chicken joint. As per usual, I do not award more than three stars for fast-food establishments. However, in this case two stars is a bit of a stretch. I could've easily given one star. The main case here is the food is just boring. Just another chicken joint. Just another spin on an overworked segment of our fast-food world. The fried chicken was ok. The sides were ok. However, the price point didn't match what appeared on my plate. While this is a common gripe in 2025 I still feel that a mediocre meal at a fast food joint shouldn't cost $18 (two piece chicken, side, biscuit, and drink). A couple of them ordered chicken & spaghetti combos to eat for lunch while my friend and I ordered Chickenjoy orders for our families. I prefer eating fried chicken with Tabasco sauce to cut the fatty taste. I ended up getting a 6 piece chicken, 2 scoops of Mashed Potatoes, 2 Gravies & 2 Biscuits for $20. I asked the clerk how the Mashed Potatoes & Biscuits tasted and he asked if I like Bush's or Popeye's then they were similar. I don't eat at either so I'm only familiar with KFC. I figured I'd try them out. The Mashed Potatoes were yummy and seemed to have some red potato skins on them so they weren't goopy and much more natural in flavor and texture. The hubs scarfed those up with the gravy. The chicken pieces came with 3 thighs and 3 large legs. Pretty good portions and most of all very crispy, clean tasting and NOT greasy! I was impressed. I didn't have any desserts as I'm watching my carb intake. Yummy chicken was good enough for me. One of my friend's chicken and spaghetti dishes had 2 pieces of legs so she was disappointed but didn't tell the employees. I don't think that's standard. "GINA" (Crew Member) WRONGFULLY ACCUSED ME OF STEALING MY OWN ORDER. Manager was great tho. I was accused of stealing another customer's order, even though I had paid for two myself. Both our orders were called around the same time. I clearly saw the other customer's order being placed on a tray, while my two order of juices were placed separately. I picked up the two drinks that I actually ordered, and immediately the customer and the said crew member helping her insisted they were hers. Gina The Crew, even grabbed the drink off my tray and kept repeating that I only had one pineapple juice, even though my receipt clearly shows I paid for two. The customer then claimed she "saw" me take them from her tray, which never happened. Instead of checking order numbers or verifying anything, the employee sided with her immediately and insisted it was her order. Minutes later, while the said employee was putting everything together, they realized they suddenly had an extra pineapple juice, because they had taken my drinks in the first place. (The manager took it and placed it back on my tray) The whole situation was embarrassing, unprofessional, and entirely avoidable. Simply verifying order numbers or checking receipts would have prevented wrongly accusing a customer of taking something they paid for. The manager stepped-in quick and fix the problem. My husband and I ordered the combo 3-piece chicken with two sides, so I got the adobo fried rice and mashed potatoes, and he got a double order of rice. The chicken was nice and crispy. The adobo rice was meh. I ordered my son chicken tenders and fries. He enjoyed the tenders but disliked the fries, which was shocking because he's a fries monster. He made a comment about the sauce that came with his chicken tenders that it looked like "Raising Cane" sauce, and when he tried it, he yelled out, "It tastes just like Raising Cane's sauce." I tried it, and it sure tasted precisely like it. And what's funny is the container is in the same clear plastic sauce container that Raising Cane gives. Lol.
