When my sister Tiffany lived near a Jollibee for work and came home to visit, it was expected that she bring Jollibee with her because it wasn't accessible to us in the Rio Grande Valley. Jollibee feels like home to my family and me. It will always taste delicious, no matter which part of the country I enjoy it in, because it holds such deep sentimental value for us. It's a small piece of the Philippines that we get to have here in the States, and it allows us to hold on to that little bit of childhood we left behind in Dumaguete City. Haven't even tasted the food yet, so if it's review-worthy, I'll update this. This is my first time ordering here. I came in to pick up my online order. A gentleman came from the drive-thru and asked if I had been helped. I said no, so he went ahead and assisted me with my order. I told him they had forgotten my drink, so he went and made it for me. While he was doing that, another employee was handing off a different order. I asked, "Excuse me, do y'all not have that new drink?" She said they did, but the machine was down. I then asked if she could ring me up for some sauces. She told me to have whoever was getting my drink help me. Once the gentleman brought my drink, I asked him, "Sir, she doesn't want to ring up my sauces. Can you ring them up for me?" Suddenly, she jumped on the register. I'm like... you literally just told me to have him do it. Then she says, "Oh no, I didn't. I didn't know you were ringing up sauces." Like... WTF is wrong with y'all? I hate dumb bitches. We spend nearly $100 at Jollibee this afternoon, and what should have been a simple meal turned into an incredibly frustrating experience because of conflicting answers and poor service recovery. A young employee told us they "don't take orders at the counter" and directed us to the kiosk. We complied, despite my senior-citizen aunt needing counter assistance for specific requests. Then we watched other customers ordering at the counter. When my aunt asked for a manager, MJ told her the counter was for cash-paying customers only. When I questioned that explanation, the reason changed to "we're busy." Another manager, Zxavier, gave essentially the same excuse while acknowledging that not taking counter orders wasn't their policy. As someone who previously worked as a Jollibee dining manager in the Philippines, I understand busy. What I don't understand is giving customers different explanations instead of simply being honest and finding a solution. What frustrated me most was the lack of ownership. I was repeatedly asked what they could do for me rather than being offered a meaningful solution. I wasn't looking for freebies or compensation--I simply expected a manager to take initiative and properly address the service failure. If the employee had simply said, "I'm sorry, let me find someone who can assist you," this entire situation could have been avoided. Jollibee: good food serves good service. Jolibee is the Asian version of Popeye's, Church's, and KFC. If you go in with those expectations, you won't be disappointed. The fried chicken was on the greasy side, much like Church's. The chicken nuggets were small and dry, and the BBQ dip had a strong tangy flavor, like vinegar. The mashed potatoes with gravy had nearly no flavor. My husband told me the fries were not great, and my biscuit left so much to be desired. We needed spoons, forks, and napkins, all of which could only be found behind the counter. Did it do the job? Didn't eat the food and the fries are cold and soggy even though I asked for them crispy and the burger was over salted it wasn't very good. The Trey they brought the food on was not lined and it was sticky so they didn't clean the tray before they reused it. All the tables and chairs are filthy and the soda machine won't drain so there was a lady out here with the cup dipping out nasty water and ice from the soda machine. Like they are too busy for this restaurant to be doing this bad. I voiced my concerns to the manager but I know he doesn't really care. I will not be back. This happened 3 or so years ago, and I'm still upset about it because it was my first time trying jollibee. I had ordered my food and waited over an hour for my food. Biscuit is a little dry and hard but whatever gravy you have will be good to dip it in. I also love the mashed potatoes and the adobo rice. It reminds me of the dirty rice that Popeyes used to serve before they betrayed us by getting rid of it in 2021. As far as their spaghetti goes, I admit I had very low expectations and thought that it was gonna suck but it was good, just different. Don't expect it to be mom and pop Italian restaurant good nor Olive Garden good. The sauce is a tad sweeter than regular spaghetti sauce and it has sliced hot dogs in it but it's superior to that canned Chef Boyardee crap that you get at a grocery store . Jollibee sent me an offer for $10 off of $30 so it was a good excuse to drive 19 miles from my home to dine there. I wanted to try the 6 piece Chicken Joy meal which came with 2 drinks and 2 sides. I upgraded the sides to Mac & cheese and Jolly Spaghetti. Unfortunately, my favorite drink, unsweetened iced tea is not served so I settled for Lipton raspberry tea. My sister tried the angus burger and said it was nothing special. The crispy fried chicken came in a holiday decorated bucket...so cute. The jollibee mascot wearing a Santa cap is adorable. I noticed that the distributor they use to get their chicken does not cut the chicken pieces at the joint. Two legs had 1 inch of bone from a thigh. One of the chicken thighs had 1/3 of the thigh bone chopped off so we missed some chicken meat on that piece. It'I didn't care for the sweet jolly spaghetti mixed with small pieces of hot dogs. The mashed potatoes contained 3 dark pieces of potato skins. The Mac and cheese had a good flavor, the best of the 3 sides. The appearance of the dining room ruined it for me. As we entered, we saw 2 tables that were dirty and the floor of the restaurant was dirty in several areas. There was a metal pole near the trash bin which had dirty napkins at the bottom. Their spicy chicken joy (drumsticks) with gravy was delicious and I would get this again. They tasted like a more crispy, more juicy, and slightly spicier version of Popeyes and came with a unique peppery gravy. Everything else was meh. The spaghetti was sweet and tasted like hot dogs. It wasn't bad enough to throw away but a little side is over $4 and we didn't like it much. Not worth it. The palobak had a very strong fishy smell. It tasted like porky garlic with a hint of ocean. I did not enjoy this at all. The chicken tenders were fine. Your average chicken tenders. Nothing wrong with them but expensive for what you got. I heard good things about Jollibee before my family visited, and upon further review I would say try it for yourself. The fried chicken is similar to other chicken joints. They do offer a variety of Korean bbq chicken, spaghetti and ethnically concentrated foods. We visited on a Sunday and it was plenty busy. With limited seating takeout might be your best option. They serve Pepsi here and have a good menu of chicken variety. The decor is modern and vibrant and the staff is as you expect in such a busy establishment. Food was ready 10 mintues later. Chicken was crispy and juicy, but very bland. No flavor. Biscuit and gravy were OK. The Jolly sphaghetti I got because it is one of their signature items and not something you'll find anywhere else. It was OK but not something I would get again. The service was quick but not what I would call customer centric or friendly. Just calling out order numbers and you pick it up. No smile, no eye contact, no "thank you." Maybe 8-10 workers. The place wasn't dirty but not sparkling clean either. The tables I could see all seemed to have crumbs or drink rings on them and needed a good wipe down. And this was only 30 minutes after they opened so I'm guessing the night crew did not clean up as they are supposed to. I was there 35-40 minutes total. Started to get busy after I got there. The biggest negative was it was 78 degrees and uncomfortably stuffy. Hard to enjoy your meal when you are in a hot box. I asked the clerk how the Mashed Potatoes & Biscuits tasted and he asked if I like Bush's or Popeye's then they were similar. I don't eat at either so I'm only familiar with KFC. I figured I'd try them out. The Mashed Potatoes were yummy and seemed to have some red potato skins on them so they weren't goopy and much more natural in flavor and texture. The hubs scarfed those up with the gravy. The chicken pieces came with 3 thighs and 3 large legs. Pretty good portions and most of all very crispy, clean tasting and NOT greasy! I was impressed. I didn't have any desserts as I'm watching my carb intake. Yummy chicken was good enough for me. One of my friend's chicken and spaghetti dishes had 2 pieces of legs so she was disappointed but didn't tell the employees. I don't think that's standard. "GINA" (Crew Member) WRONGFULLY ACCUSED ME OF STEALING MY OWN ORDER. Manager was great tho. I was accused of stealing another customer's order, even though I had paid for two myself. Both our orders were called around the same time. I clearly saw the other customer's order being placed on a tray, while my two order of juices were placed separately. I picked up the two drinks that I actually ordered, and immediately the customer and the said crew member helping her insisted they were hers. Gina The Crew, even grabbed the drink off my tray and kept repeating that I only had one pineapple juice, even though my receipt clearly shows I paid for two. The customer then claimed she "saw" me take them from her tray, which never happened. Instead of checking order numbers or verifying anything, the employee sided with her immediately and insisted it was her order. Minutes later, while the said employee was putting everything together, they realized they suddenly had an extra pineapple juice, because they had taken my drinks in the first place. (The manager took it and placed it back on my tray) The whole situation was embarrassing, unprofessional, and entirely avoidable. The last time I ate at a Jollibee was when I lived in Hawai'i, which was a few years ago, so my family and I were pretty happy to have found one here. My husband and I ordered the combo 3-piece chicken with two sides, so I got the adobo fried rice and mashed potatoes, and he got a double order of rice. The chicken was nice and crispy. The adobo rice was meh. I ordered my son chicken tenders and fries. He enjoyed the tenders but disliked the fries, which was shocking because he's a fries monster. He made a comment about the sauce that came with his chicken tenders that it looked like "Raising Cane" sauce, and when he tried it, he yelled out, "It tastes just like Raising Cane's sauce." I tried it, and it sure tasted precisely like it. And what's funny is the container is in the same clear plastic sauce container that Raising Cane gives. Lol. This was our 2nd time here at Jollibee and both times were great! The first time we ordered a Big Yum burger and a 2 piece burger steak. We were skeptical on the burger dishes but decided to try them anyways and oy were we surprised! The Yum burger was perfectly cooked, seasoned, and hooked up with veggies! The burger steak was the same perfectly cooked, seasoned, and smothered with gravy! Our second time we ordered a Spicy Deluxe Chicken sandwich and the 2 Pc Chickenjoy w/ Jolly Spaghetti! The chicken sandwich was not spicy but it was crispy, juicy and had fresh veggies and a good amount of sauce! The fried chicken was crispy and juicy as well, the spaghetti was tender with lots of sweet sauce and hot dogs I think, delish! The staff is always super friendly and helpful when you have questions. The restaurant has been clean both time we've went with someone constantly picking up and cleaning. We will definitely be back to try more of their yummy food! read more
