I had a DoorDash delivery that got taken by a stranger. The manager called me and said I need to call them to get a refund. I didn't understand why they couldn't just make a new meal, something about it being a third party provider. Fine, I guess that is life. Really BAD Experience: I ordered a large Diet Coke and they gave me a medium ice tea. One large strawberry milkshake but it was a regular size. One sandwich which was not hot. REALLY BAD! One large waffle fry. At the bottom half was a partially eaten sandwich and fries. Someone's garbage. I had to call and talk to the manager. I drove back and they gave me my money back. Having a Chick-fil-A in the middle section of an extremely busy street in the heart of the South Texas medical center area is clearly a challenge. ANY Chick-fil-A is crazy busy during lunch hour this one is insane. There are a lot of pedestrians trying to walk through the two drive thru lanes, not to mention people to park in the few spaces available. However, I was impressed with how they were able to move so many people through the drive thru quickly and safely as possible considering the circumstances. As usual the food was good, not over or undercooked. The only problem I had was the poor guy standing out in this Texas heat didn't have a menu to show me. Since I don't get a chance to go to Chick-fil-A often I just asked for the regular. It was a little disappointing once I made it to the actual drive through menu to see there were other fried chicken sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, and cheese available but it was too late to change my order by then. Still that is a very minor issue. Overall it's a good place to grab a bite to eat. Just do NOT expect to get in and out of here quickly during weekday lunchtime because of its location. read more

Curbside is a joke. It took them 25 minutes to get my order to my car after I placed the order and parked. It would have been faster to go through the drive through because they have five people working it. Curbside had one lady walking out with two orders at a time in 5 minute intervals. Wow!! Chick-fil-A continues to out due themselves. This afternoon I was enjoying my lunch when I saw a vehicle leave without their credit card. While most establishments would just leave it for pickup. chick-fil-A had a different reaction. Chick-fil-a is famous for their chicken, but their fries are also the best ever. My usual order consists of: Lemonade. It's lip puckering tart and sweet at the same time. The size of the spicy chicken breast was small didn't cover half the bun but it was still good. The grilled chicken covered all the bun and was kinda fat. It was tender and had a good flavor. emailed an offer that clearly said if you were born in a leap year that you would receive a free combo meal on Leap Year day Feb 29, 2024. When I arrived and showed the email to the cashier, they said it was a mistake. So not only did I have to pay for my meal, I was charged almost an additional $2 to substitute fruit for french fries. With this bait and switch email, the least they could have done is not charged me extra to substitute fruit for french fries. The experience was very disheartening. read more

Today we stopped by to pick up a catering order that was to be ready at 11:30am, but it was not ready at the specified time. This isn't really a big deal- stuff happens and sometimes everything doesn't go as planned. 35 minutes after our pickup time (and already running late to a meeting), I asked a passing manager when we could expect our order- explaining that we had been waiting a half hour. Unfortunately, the first thing this Owner/Operator (Nametag read: Mark Wasserman) said to me was "Hey, relax". I was caught off guard by this- I have never experienced this kind of service at a CFA before- much less from the franchise owner. He did not apologize or tell us anything about the order- just told me to "relax". He then went back to the back and found that our order had been sitting there, already prepared and waiting. I completely understand that the restaurant gets busy and that orders may not always be on time- but I don't think it is ever appropriate for someone to address a customer in this manner. I certainly hope this franchise owner does not make a habit of speaking to his customers in this manner- If the man carries himself in this fashion, I do not understand how his employees can exemplify the CFA brand of excellent customer service. I have had great experiences with other CFA locations in the past, but this location didn't live up to the Chick-Fil-A standard. Oh man, I love Chick Fil A, but the medical center location is a ticking time bomb heading towards disaster. The food is not the problem, it's always hot and fresh, well flavored. The night crew though needs some polishing up. I used to work in the food service industry, and I know it's frustrating to get a customer at 9:45pm who wants to dine in, 15 minutes till closing, isn't that bad for a quick service establishment. Usually I go through the drive thru for moments like these but I didn't want to do that today, wasn't heading home right away and wanted to enjoy my food fresh. So I walk in, I hear the girl sigh heavily, she didn't take my order but you can tell she was bothered, the shift leader took mine, he was nice and patient, he understands. Anyways so I'm sitting there eating and the lights go off at 9:55pm, place closes at 10pm. I used to work for chick fil a, I know the closing procedures and it states that if you got a customer eating, you don't start shutting things down in front of them. While I am eating I see the manager of the establishment playing tag with his employees around the restaurant, shouting and yelling. I came here for a quick bite to eat for lunch and they were quick, efficient, and friendly! Feeling in a rush to get home, I went through the drive-thru experience! I ordered a #3 combo with a spicy chicken sandwich, waffle fries and sweet tea AKA delicious, no-nutritional value meal. I like that they didn't just dump an unnecessary amount of random sauces in my to-go bag. I requested for the chick-fil-a sauce (my personal fav) and got 2 packets for my meal and a conservative amount of napkins. On my waffle fries, they gave me an option to complete a survey online. I was about to throw it away until I saw "free lunch?". I immediately filled out the 5 minute survey online and will receive a coupon for a free meal in the mail in 3 weeks. It's a pretty long wait just to get a free meal, but hey it's free! The sandwich and fries were deliciously warm. Not too hot or greasy. I was able to trick my mind into thinking I was actually eating something good for me. One con is their drive thru set up. I assume their drive through order menu was broken because when I pulled up there were 2 chick-fil-a girls outside taking our orders. I was a bit thrown off since (1) they girl did not hand me a menu when I pulled up, (2) she just stared at me...not even a "Hi, what can I get for you?"
