This is my usual go to spot when I'm driving through Edison. I stopped in last night and the service and food was awful! I never had any problems until yesterday at this location. The manager was good but their other employee should get the axe. The drive thru was closed so it forced everyone to flood the line inside. It took me longer than the normal long wait. They removed many items off their menu which I'm guessing is to speed up the lines (no more palabok, plain rice or mashed potatoes). That's understandable but it took even longer to wait. The worst part is the bruh who was putting the food in the bag tore mine and ended up putting the torn one inside a bigger bag. To make matters worse he forgot my fork!!! How are you gonna forget to include plasticwear?! I was starving and ate my 3 piece chicken with gravy and the coconut pie but had to use my hands like a neanderthal because they forgot my fork. I didn't want to go back inside just to navigate thru the maze of people just to get a fork. My advice get rid of the incompetent employees. Super weird combo. I think the spaghetti with the two piece spicy, and upgrade to pineapple drink for .50 cents. All together 14 bucks. I like it, wtf is with the hot dogs, it's phucking odd my guy.....Slightly sweet, thick pasta, sauce slightly sweet. Chicken and gravy is dope. Bf and I were craving Jollibee since we've moved out of NYC and didn't have the ability to walk to the Manhattan location. We took a long drive to Edison for some take out chicken. The line is Longggggg. The first time we stopped by, the line was so long that we weren't able to get into the drive thru line and were flagged away. We went through the exit and parked in the lot. We ordered for pick up instead. It took maybe 15-20 mins. It was just as good as I remembered from NYC for a lower price. They didn't have the hot dog and halo halo. read more

I would like to start off by saying that the food at this establishment is good, however the service is TERRIBLE. They are only offering drive thru service and every time I go their drive thru is spilling out into the road without exaggeration. As a result of this they have a parking lot attendant who periodically opens and closes the lot that grants access to the parking lot and building. As a result one could take the time to drive to the restaurant and be told that you cannot enter even though the restaurant is opened. This has actually happened to me before. I arrived at 4pm 3 hours before closing time and was barred from entering the parking lot. I myself have resolved to stop visiting this location since service is not guaranteed. read more

The service at this location is just awful. I do not know if they're understaffed or if it's poor management, but the wait times are unacceptably long. You're lucky if you're even able to get into the lot and even if you do expect at least ~15 minutes from start to finish. Their lobby for some reason was closed and only drive through available. You couldn't even order their food in advance through their online site. You've been open here for over a year now, it should be a much a smoother and hassle-free experience. It took 20 to get through the drive-thru but so worth it. The regular 6-piece chicken joy bucket was piping hot, and had good size chicken legs and thighs very well fried and fresh. Not overly breaded or seasoned. The palabok so comforting and weighed a ton. First time to have their palabok and glad they had packets of calamansi. Went there yesterday 4-21-23 with my son around 7:15pm drive thru was closed and said lobby only but the doors were closed all of them. There were around 20 plus people in the lobby also notice around 4 workers and a manager so I ask him thru the drive thru window why were they closed he said they were short staffed and couldn't handle it I told him he should put a sign saying they are closed then because they were not open at all very disappointed with my first visit I think you should keep the doors open and let the costumer know it will take a while to help them and they can decide to wait or not. read more

We had a terrible experience with a supervisor, I'm assuming her name is Shahinabaru S., as listed on the receipt. After, placing the order from a printed menu mentioning everything that came along with the bucket treat, she acknowledged and even offered an upgrade. Long story short, the printed menu was outdated, regardless that she read back to me exactly what I asked for. When I had someone else pick up because the place is out of my way, I got a completely different set of food. Forgot to try the gravy because the chicken was coated with RAW BREADING. Underneath the deceptively golden crispy exterior was a layer of wet, gross, gritty raw flour paste. The food is good overall, and the fried chicken, "chickenjoy" is aptly named, it really is a joy to eat. It's the best fast food fried chicken I've ever had. Bar none. This particular location is a ZOO because you can't go inside and the parking lot is the size of an ordinary parking lot, not a shopping center lot (which they really need.) My first order was on DoorDash on a Friday...then the next Friday I wanted to order some, DoorDash said it was closed at 4:45. Whaaaaat???? Which is why I drove over to get the food, I wasn't going to settle for anything else, and realized that the traffic to get the food was like the 405 merging with the 110 at rush hour. INSANE. As expected lines are off through rt 1 north, police car is by old post rd to direct traffic. You can call ahead to order for pick up but the line going in is the same as the line for drive thru when you are stuck in rt1, your best shot is to hit hazard-pass the drive thru lining cars-passenger get down to pick up your food or park by wendy's walk down. All worth it their fried chicken both regular and spicy is still the best I have tasted compared to most I already tried. I went at 2PM on a Thursday and there was no line. I had an amazing experience at jollibee and it lives up to the hype. The fried chicken is moist on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It was hot, not oily, and not too salty. I would eat this fried chicken over KFC or Popeyes any day. The jolly spaghetti is also a unique flavor that I enjoyed. You can't go in there expecting it to taste like marinara sauce. It's sweet in a good way. It just works! I got the pineapple quencher instead of a soda. It's like drinking pineapple juice from the can. The peach mango pies blew me away. I was so full I took it home and reheated it in the toaster. It's fresh, crispy, and not oily! read more

Waited in line for 30 minutes before getting up to the person who takes your order and was told they didn't have 5 different things on the menu including the only thing I was waiting for which was chicken fingers for my kids. Showed up around 1040 AM hoping to beat the crowd, but the line was almost to route 1. They have 2 lines created to get the cars into the lot andd not block the road. They have temp security guards guiding traffic...appears that I one will tell vehicle to drive around to prevent rt 1 from being blocked. Dunno why the 2nd security have the cars merge so early, they can get a lot more cars in witHout having customers go around and come back. Also, drive close to the restaurant, otheRwise this security guard will giving you word for not driving close enough....I drive an SUV, so I was further out b4 the turn so I won't hit the curb. Anyways he started lecturing me on how to drive...tried to reason with him and he just turn said "whatever" and walked away...anyways, the employees I dealt with were really nice to deal with. It was a bit hot out, so I was a bit disappointed they didn't have the pearl coolers or halo halo. Total wait time from line to chicken was about 20-25 mins. Dunno if I was dehydrated, but chicken had a flour/starchy taste after biting into it. Had jollibee at other locationns but don't recall this taste. Super busy, but the line moved fast bc they had staff walking around and taking everyone orders on iPads. They managed the crowds well. The cheeseburger was the biggest surprise for me; I got it on a whim and it ended up surpassing my expectations! The patty reminded me of a White Castle burger (except the size of a Wendy's JR cheeseburger) and it had a unique mayo sauce which complimented the patty. Let me just begin to say that the drive thru service is less accomodating.make sure if there is a yellow cone be prepared to loop around at least 6 times and they also dont have order ahead of time.
