Sadly, I didn't have the best experience here. The staff are very nice, but the place could use a good cleaning. The gentleman who did my nails, seemed new to the job. He had a difficult time and even though he gave a great hand massage, the nails themselves didn't come out great. Not sure I'll return, but I wish them the best! read more

It was my second time coming here and will be my last. Ask, ask, ASK prior how much it will be. They just make up prices on the fly if you're not a regular customer and will try to scam you. I made a mistake of not asking prior to getting a full set of acrylics in a solid color because last time I paid $35. The entire time the nail tech didn't ask me anything other than if I liked the shape, color, or how long I wanted my nails. I tipped my nail tech then went to pay. They both started talking in there language than said $55. I was confused because on the menu it said $35 and $50 most for gel acrylics. I didn't ask for gel just an ordinary acrylic set. I just paid than left. Be wary if you're not a regular customer and ASK how much it will be. I don't want others getting ripped off like I did. They do a great job and take there time, but making random prices for people is not cool . read more

Safe your money and don't come here I came in here looking for a new salon to do my nails and toes in . Quality is not worth the price . $20 to have my hands in a bowl of acetone for hour I left with my hands peeling! $60 for a white toe color that the guy who was doing it did so many coats it looks hideous at the end . Not worth it and when I asked why it's $20 for me to have my hands in a bowl she started giving me an attitude. $109 that is truly not worth it . read more

I've been coming here for about 6 months. The staff is friendly, personable and knowledgeable. Their service is exceptional. Today Conner did my nails and I couldn't be happier. I do an acrylic overlay and today they look VERY natural. If you're looking for a great pedicure then pop over and see Phil. Most of the staff is fluent in English so be sure that your needs will be heard. I highly recommend this salon. read more

I am new to the area and was looking for a new nail salon, I went because of the proximity to my home and the reviews. I called before hand to see about wait time, so I was immediately seated when I arrived. I wish I had better looked around prior to starting my services because it wasn't until they had already started that I began noticing the cleanliness of the salon. Sooo many things I can mention here - 1 neither of my nail techs wore gloves 2 the body butter and sugar scrub were sitting in a dirty looking mason jar probably housing bacteria 3 the gel machine was sitting directly on the floor 4 they used metal tools that did not seem sanitized (I am used to salons using a sealed, sterilized bag for each person so you know it is clean) I watched my tech use the metal "cheese grater" on me and then go to the sink and use a brush and water to clean it 5 the wet towels they used on me STUNK 6 the salon generally looked dirty, dusty and run down. Both nail techs were incredibly friendly so I feel bad leaving a negative review. However, I am genuinely concerned about the hygiene here and am worried that I have contracted some sort of bacteria there. I hope the salon can take steps to improve its sanitation practices, but unfortunately I won't be returning. read more

Came here to do a mani pedi with a full set. We called in on an early tuesday and got assisted right as we got there. Prices are less expensive than other salons in the area and they're not too bad quality wise. (Maybe I'm just used to the lady I always go to) There was a guy trying to take off the gel off my nails and it was soo painful. They also soak your nails with acetone after drilling and filing it which I'm not a fan of. Big minus points cus the guy didn't seem like he cared about keeping nails healthy Michelle is probably the best one there so make sure you ask for her when you come in!! read more

I walked out super upset after paying $160 for two people getting waxed and gel nails. I was cut to the point of blood rushing out of my finger for 5 minutes, they forgot to put something on my daughters nails that she asked for and not even sure if we paid for since they never give you a good breakdown, didn't even rub off the top coat from the gel, no massage of the hands, I still have some cotton on my pinky that was painted over instead of removed, bumps in the paint on 5 of my fingers and more! Never going back. Ever. For some reason it won't let me post a photo of the poor job. Oh well. Lesson learned. read more

I've been coming here for a while now. I followed Dao from another salon. I've had; Dao, Kannan, Steven and Richard all work on me at various times. They are all wonderful! Professional, with great technique, talented and artistic. They all have great personalities as well, making the hour I'm there fly by. They can advise you what products or services will work best depending on the look you want to achieve. Reasonably priced, as well. 5 stars! read more

Here's the positives: they are open til 7 on Sundays, they practice good Covid safety. Now for the non-negotiable waste of time & money. I went in yesterday for a gel manicure. This morning I was opening a baggie and noticed my index finger gel was gone. I went back at noon today and they fixed it, refiled all my nails, put another topcoat on both hands. By 8 pm the pinkie gel on that same hand was gone. So bizarre. I've never had that happen. I will not go back. read more

This is my favorite go-to place for pedicures and I've been frequenting this spot every month for awhile now. I can only attest to their pedicures as I have never gotten manicure services, but I can give my mom's and daughter's opinion as they both have received manicures here. Once I approve of a nail salon, I am loyal to a fault. If I am satisfied with the work and services, I will continue to come back and stick with one spot. I feel like this nail spa is it for me minus a couple hiccups with my mom and daughter's nails. I believe Kannan (sp? I'm still trying to learn everyone's names!) did my mom's gel manicure back in November and she's always hesitant to get her nails done as she frequently cooks and washes dishes and her hands/nails take a toll. They promised her that a gel manicure (to match her gel pedicure) would last a minimum of three weeks. She flew back home a coupe days later and they all started to lift and peel in less than a week! I also sat there and witnessed him not put on a base color under the glitter gel so the color was very shoddy in a lot of spots. I'm hoping this was just a fluke on his part as he seems to get rave reviews! I then brought my daughter here on her birthday this past December to get her first set of acrylics. I believe they were done by the older gentleman (Steven?) and she kept making faces like she wasn't very pleased. Upon inspecting them after he was done, the nails were lifted and tilting upwards which was really when viewed from the side. Not sure if that is normal, but it didn't look right. Other than that, I love getting pedicures here! Ty and Lynn are my favorites! They are both personable and and go above and beyond what you would expect. Lynn is a perfectionist and will pay attention to every little detail, plus I like that she doesn't get upset if you ask her to correct/change something. I know that I will at least continue to come here to get my monthly pedicures. It does get busy, so I'll probably start making appointments! read more

Came in needing a much needed acrylic fill and polish change. I was accommodated even though I did not have an appt. My technician (didn't get his name) did a great job and I appreciated how quickly he worked. I would definitely come back here! The price was also fair considering I also got gel with the chrome finish on top. read more

I tried this place out because I was in the area. Honestly the person that did my pedicure did a great job and was very friendly. I got a full set with gell on my hands and the tech rushed the UV light. Now it's been two days and the gel is already coming off. It is really important to me that they do a good job the first time because who wants to drive back to have them fix it? Also who has the time? I barely have time for them to do my nails, let alone drive back and fix it. Loved how my nails turned out but pretty disappointed that they only lasted 2 days! read more

I'm not picky but this was horrible I told the guy that my nails did not look good. He ignored me. He didn't truly know how to do a set. The only good thing about my pedicure was the massage other than that. It's been by far the worst place I've ever been too. Not worth the money. read more

I just moved into this area and I've been looking for a nail salon. I absolutely loved the service that was rendered at Joie Nails. Ty did my pedicure and my expectations were exceeded by far. The older gentleman that did my gel mani was also wonderful to work with. When I mentioned that there was an imperfection on a nail, he smiled and said "I see that too" and fixed it, he was very sweet about it. Two days after my visit, I had two polish chips on my nails, well because life happens, and when I called they immediately told me to come back for a fix. This salon is by far the best service and treatment I have been into, and I will gladly be returning from here on out. read more

Next to the weight control office find this little shop where everyone is cheerful and happy to give you a comfortable and good service. My nail fill was not pleasant. It started out great all the covid precautions were taken. I was sat in the back and a male tech came to do my nails. He did not say one word to me the entire time. He kept nicking my cuticles. My nails are bumpy and do not have the same shape. I asked him several time to fix it and he shook his head yes but unfortunately they are still bumpy and misshaped. My nail broke off with in hours of having it done so I called back and They got me in to fix it. The same Covid precautions were NOT TAKEN . Another male tech fixed my nail he went back and forth wearing the same gloves. When I asked him to please change gloves or wash his hands he shook his head yes but it wasn't done. IM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER! I WILL NOT BE BACK. Stay away if you're lookin for high quality and customer service this place doesn't offer either. read more

Great pedi, great price. I had a very attentive technician. He brought a clean set of tools to work on my toes. Great massage chair, and leg massage by tech. I called in and they told me they had a thirty minute wait, but when I got there, they attended me quickly to start a soaking and massage chair. Tech was on point, will definitely return to this little nail/spa. Very clean and professional. read more

I needed to get a gel manicure for a wedding that evening. I called that morning and a woman answered the phone. She was very friendly and said they were able to fit me in. I arrived and was helped right away. I am always indecisive with picking a color because there are just so many. They were patient. A gentleman helped me I didn't get his name but I think it's Mr. Le. He was very detailed and took his time. BEST manicure I've ever gotten. My nails have never looked this good. The place is clean, sanitary and taking Covid precautions. I had a great experience. Everyone working there made sure that their clients were relaxed, had a great experience, and were happy with their service. I highly recommend this nail salon. read more

Service is professional and friendly as ever. Salon is like most with spa chairs and nail stations. It's a cozy little salon just off the 215 Frwy Los Alamos Exit. I have never been to this location, but I try to follow Kannan whenever I need acrylics. It has been years since I have had acrylics again and since I didn't make it back to AZ in time for a fill to my previous ombre nails, I needed acrylics again that I'd be happy with. Kannan has always been my go-to here in Southern CA. He always shapes and files my acrylic sets with care and I really love how "natural" my new pink and white set turned out. I knew that it'd be hard to match the acrylic color from my previous set, so I opted for a brand new full set. We were originally going for the ombré pink and white (as seen in his sample nails) however, the pink has more of a distinct gradient line than I would have liked. Kannan said it was due to the tip he used verses the full tips, and I didn't know there would be a difference. I still love my nails though, it's just a faded pink and white as opposed to an ombré pink and white. Kannan and I discussed on another visit, once the nail grew, how we could apply more pink to adjust the gradient effects. Open to try that next time if I decide to go natural again. Nonetheless, I am always content with the natural affects he achieves with the acrylic. It's filed and shaped thinly. (I really dislike it when salons in the past would make the acrylic bulky and thick sitting on my existing nails.) Also chose one of their main spa pedicure packages that included a deep tissue foot massage, foot scrub, callous remover, paraffin wax and more I can't recall. Ty is so nice. I experienced one of the best pedicures I've had in ages!! That deep tissue massage is the best feature!! Really worth the extra cost. Happy to be back and visiting Kannan's salon again. I tried this salon for the first time because I was given a "Pick Your Polish" gift card and this was one of the salons listed that accepts the gift card. I went through the process of redeeming the gift card and then called to make an appointment. When I made the appointment, I asked if I would be able to use the gift card and they said yes. I showed up for the appointment and get a gel manicure done. When I go to pay, the man says that they don't accept that type of gift card. I told him I had called and was told they did and that the gift card company said Ken would be my contact. He asked Ken and Ken acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. They didn't put any effort into helping me and just said I had to pay with Visa or MasterCard, which I did because I had already received the services and didn't know what else to do. I don't understand why I was told I could use the gift card on the phone only to be told no in person. I was given the gift card because I didn't have the money to get my nails done and the person wanted to surprise me, now I've had to pay money that I didn't have and the person who bought me the gift card is out $50 because the card turned out to be useless. The gel manicure was fine, it looked nice. However, it has been exactly one week and it is already starting to peel. I know every manicure is different and it depends on how you take care of it, but it is really disappointing that the process was so annoying and the manicure barely lasted a week. read more

Her responses were filled with confusing jargon that didn't match standard unit conversions or my actual experience. When I asked for clarification, the conversation was dismissed instead of resolved. For a $200 difference, I was surprised by the lack of transparency and the unwillingness to address the issue. I'm sharing our correspondence so others can see the interaction for themselves. Our correspondence after many failed attempts! Her response was not correct, a confusing bunch of jargon and then she dismissed me after my response! Hi Christina, I want to clarify my concern one last time. Ten days before this appointment, I had a full Botox treatment elsewhere. At your office, I only received a very small touch‑up: a bit above my brows, a small amount in the DAO area, and a tiny amount above my lip. This was not a full forehead or full‑area treatment. Your injector specifically told me she used 1 unit of Dysport on each side of my top lip, and when I asked about the conversion and pricing, the explanation I received didn't make sense. Now that I see the lack of results -- and considering I also had swelling in one eye afterward -- I do not believe I received anything close to the Botox‑equivalent of 24 units. It feels consistent with 24 units of Dysport total, not 72 units. I also want to mention that during the visit, I asked about options for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction and explained that I have rosacea. I was told that CO resurfacing would be good for me, even though that type of treatment is generally contraindicated for rosacea and can worsen redness and sensitivity. I was also encouraged toward hormone pellets after mentioning I take hormones, which felt like unnecessary upselling. Overall, the experience came across as high‑pressure rather than patient‑focused. I'm not going to continue going back and forth. I'm simply asking for fair billing based on the actual amount injected. A $200 reimbursement would resolve this. If not, I will leave an honest review and move on. Best, Her only email before the response you just read. Then I was dismissed.... Ghosted.. Thank you for reaching out and for sharing your concerns. We completely understand that pricing for injectable treatments can sometimes be confusing, especially when comparing Dysport and Botox. Dysport and Botox are both neuromodulators, but they are measured using different unit scales. Dysport units are not equivalent to Botox units. In clinical practice, approximately 2.5-3 units of Dysport provide a similar effect to 1 unit of Botox. To keep pricing straightforward and consistent for our clients, our office structures Dysport pricing so that the treatment cost is comparable to Botox for the same aesthetic outcome. We use a 3:1 approach. For example, what may be normally be documented as 72 units of Dysport corresponds roughly to about 24 units of Botox in clinical effect and we call 24 units of Dysport in our office. For reference, the manufacturer's (Galderma) recommended dosing for Dysport in FDA-approved areas includes: * Glabellar lines (frown lines between the brows): 50 units total (administered across 5 injection points) * Lateral canthal lines (crow's feet): 30 units per side (60 units total) Actual dosing may vary based on muscle strength, anatomy, and desired results, which is why your treatment plan is customized during consultation. Our goal is always to deliver safe, natural-looking results while maintaining transparent and consistent pricing. If you would ever prefer pricing strictly by Dysport unit rather than Botox-equivalent dosing, we are happy to discuss options. Then the next morning I received a message that there was a cancellation 3 weeks out as well as one at the end of that week. What?! I jumped at the chance and was super grateful they called me back! Yay! Patience is a virtue. I received a text with the appointment confirmation and directions to find the location. Of course, I still missed the location, but I managed to get there right on time. Phew! Glow Advanced Skin and Body Care is located on Hancock in Murrieta, which is a big street. It's behind a pet clinic, in a 3-story building. You walk into the lobby, up the elevator to the 2nd floor and exit to the right. When you walk in it immediately has a peaceful vibe. GLOW is by appointment only so it's nice and quiet. I was asked to fill out an intake form and then Lauren came out to greet me. I was taken to the facial room and took a seat to chat with Lauren. She asked questions to get to know me, what my expectations are and what she could offer. She's holistic by nature and that's what spoke to me the most. I was then asked to change into a towel wrap, showed where to put my stuff and then asked to get onto the facial bed. The initial appointment took about 2 hours from walking in the door to getting back into my car. I appreciated that Lauren took her time. I also liked that she wasn't too chatty during the facial itself. Whenever I'd ask her a question she'd answer and add some good tips. Ultimately, I really wanted to relax to enjoy the experience. I ended up purchasing some Sanitas Skincare items she recommended. Then we made my appointment for 6 weeks out. I'm trusting with Lauren's help and following her lead with the products I'll now use on my face I'll have the results I've been hoping for! I'm all in and excited to try Lauren's method. The office manager suggested a Dr that has absolutely NO ratings, and cannot be found on Google. There are 8 dermatologists on the Promisecare website, and 7 are unavailable (gone?). What a horrible, horrible system. By the way, the Primary Doc, Jason Black is absolutely fantastic.
