Every interaction with them has been completely professional. What really got our eye was they are down to earth. We got to express how we really feel and so did they. Both of us having an unfiltered mouth, we knew these are the guys we want representing me. What they charge is reasonable no hidden fees. Thank you both for your work with my cases. Although we enjoyed working with you two let's hope we don't ever have to again!!

Fast forward a few months, as I was getting ready to go to work, I get a text message from the court about an hour before the court hearing with a video conferencing link stating that I needed to be present at 10 AM. I had no prior notice or communication from the lawyer. I called the law firm, and the receptionist told me, "the person who can answer your questions about the case won't be in for another hour, so you better attend." I had to ChatGPT some response/plan as I had no idea what to say or do. About 10 minutes right before my court case, that lawyer finally called me and was asking me about the details of my case as if he had just learned about it. He told me that there was a "glitch" and that I should have been informed about the court case with more reminders 2 weeks ahead of the date. He called the prosecutor to cut a "deal" about 5 minutes before the case, which was the worst deal I've ever had with a traffic lawyer that left me paying near the original fine fee and 6 months probation. Exploitative, Negligent, and Extremely Disappointing Experience…read more We hired Theron during an incredibly difficult time because we needed professional guidance, clear explanations and an attorney who would help us understand our rights. Instead, the process was entirely do-it-yourself. We entered and uploaded all of our information ourselves through an online portal. The only guidance being several videos made by Theron. An entire sheet of creditors we submitted was missed and had to be added after filing. When we pointed this out, there was no apology or acceptance of responsibility. Instead, we were made to feel as though the mistake was somehow ours and warned that we could be charged if creditors needed to be added again. They do not answer their phone. They do not call you back. We have literally never spoken with a single staff member or attorney via phone aside from during our first consultation appointment and our signing appointment. We were repeatedly shuffled between staff members, and ALL email responses came from office staff rather than the attorney assigned to our case, or any attorney at all. Most of the information we received from the staff members was wrong. Because we were not properly advised about our options, and due to their office staff failing to submit required requests, we lost our family vehicle and approximately $3,000 in equity. When we began asking direct questions to Theron and Cory about what happened, they both repeatedly referred us back to general documents and portal videos instead of answering what advice was actually provided in our case. They pointed to the amount of debt discharged as proof that the representation was successful instead of taking any responsibility for the real harm they have caused us. Theron raves about offering monthly payments, but in our experience the payment structure made the bankruptcy significantly more expensive, roughly double what we expected a bankruptcy filing to cost, without providing any level of attorney involvement or individualized guidance we believed we were paying for. The most upsetting part is that Theron is now refusing to answer our questions directly, refusing to take responsibility for the documented problems and has stated that they will no longer respond to our questions or refund our attorney fees due to the real loss we suffered due to their negligence. We will be submitting our documentation to the Utah State Bar and Office of Professional Conduct for review.
