I had to keep reviewing and sending the papers back for him to correct basic mistakes, like the address to the courthouse, attesting they were over 18, etc.; very basic yet very important pieces of information! After, he served the papers, I filed them with the courthouse, and I thought it was completely taken care of. Little did I know, the court did not accept the papers, and stated the process server didn't do or fill out the papers correctly. So, immediately after, I contacted Statewide Process Servers, sent them pictures of the court letter, and asked for a refund. I received a very rude email back stating it was my fault, and I was acting on my own behalf as my own attorney, so they weren't issuing any refund. Then I sent another request, asking if they would simply reserve the other party or correct the papers to satisfy the court. They haven't responded and it's been a while, so that must be a "no "as well. I don't think they do good business or are ethical. It didn't save any money going with Statewide Process Servers, it only wasted it!!!

When we questioned the increase, we were told that the prior pricing was not reflective of their standard rates. They did issue a partial refund of around $100, but the situation still raised concerns. Additionally, we were assigned a new tax preparer this year, which made the significant increase in cost even more surprising. Overall, the experience left us feeling uncertain about the consistency and transparency of their pricing and service.
