Supremely helpful, knowledgeable, and direct communication from Chad Tangler regarding traffic violations from the past. I must say, the courtesy and professionalism was evident from the beginning of our meeting, and Mr. Tangler was both punctual and explanatory with the Justice system and my options. I felt like The Advocates cared, despite just meeting us, and wanted to make the system work for us as smoothly and advantageously as possible. If you need a criminal defense or personal injury professional, don't fall for the billboards and sound bites of other attorneys out there. Call Mr. Tangler and The Advocates--I did and couldn't be happier. read more

I truly wished there was more honest and thorough reviews before going with this firm. They were representing me for personal injury that was caused by the other driver who pulled away from a stop sign while I was driving 50 mph in the right of way. 1) They were not prompt on communication about the claim. I had to reach out nearly every time. Weeks. 2) They didn't seem motivated to push the claim forward just sitting on their hands. 3) They told me the eye witnesses at the opposite side of the road who saw the accident didn't strengthen my claim or the fact I have a herniated disk in my neck didn't do much either. 4) I felt I was given a patronizing attitude before agreeing to settle after a year from the time the accident happened. Nearly running into the deadline concerning statute of limitations. I don't know who was being represented but it didn't seem like it was for me. I have a friend with a law degree tell me I could have done better myself. read more

***BUYER BEWARE*** The advocates dont't care about anything but money. Crappy communication and they even yelled at my PCP, who really is my giggest advocate. Even if I called them every day, I maybe only got to talk to someone every couple of months. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from theese advertizers. I mean lawyers. read more

Professional kind and empathetic although they chose not to represent my case and I proceeded pro se

I am natural right now. I will be back to update next week however I do have concerns that I get the run around a bit. currently two insurance companies are not excepting responsibility. My attorney seems pleasant but it is the same conversation every time. I requested the case to be sent to the legation department now he needs another week for a denial again before he can do that. If they refuse to legation there is nothing my attorney can do. I will get another attorney if that is the case but now I am feeling like this has been a huge waste of time. 32% is nothing to disregard but I am assuming they have so many other cases little cases are just fillers. I will keep thus review updated. read more

I was in a hit & run car accident which resulted in 2 nerve issues. Requiring hours of physical therapy, future surgical intervention. They were friendly and attentive. Sadly even though I was hit and the other driver fled the scene (I did capture his plates) the fact I called 911 to report it and the fact the state patrol initially said the other driver was at fault, the state patrol later changed there statements. Therefore making my case worthless. Jamal was kind, graceful and a helpful during our exchanges. If you were hurt and have sufficient evidence I would seek these guys based on their helpfulness and grace. I'm thankful for the time, effort and hard work Jamal and Tegan his assistant provided. read more

My six year-old daughter and I were (ironically) on the way to the hospital to visit my sister and new baby niece, when we were hit from behind at a red light. The hit was hard enough to total both vehicles, and my daughter and I were moderately injured. After going through all of the police reports and paperwork, we find out the other driver was a multiple DUI offender and had a revoked driver's license. With two bulging discs in my neck, and my daughter's back injury, we had a long road of healing ahead of us; the last thing I wanted to do was fight an insurance company to cover our medical bills. Steve Linton went to bat for us to make sure everything was covered, and gave us peace in one of the most painful and stressful times of our lives. Thank you Steve! read more

I got $2,000 they got $4,000 lol. After 2 years of it being dragged out. There's a reason they want to work so hard for you.

When I was in a accident these are the ones that represent me. All they cared about was when I was gonna be done with treatment. Pretty much tried to rush me through it. They promised me a certain amount that was supposed to be untaxed but they kept about 8k of it.. they never helped when I was ghosted by my chiropractor. If I'm ever in a accident I will never come back to them. Straight robbing people. read more

Wow. Even pointing out that pawning people off on other companies who then refuse to even consult with the victim apparently isn't enough to get the "Advocates" (misnomer) to maybe give two sh*ts. read more

The Advocates helped friend of mine, Sam, who had an accident in early 2019. He was represented by Steve Day and the Utah Advocates. If it wasn't for their zealous advocacy and thorough handling of Sam's complicated case, his life would be very different than it is today. It was obvious they tailored their services to fit Sam's unique needs. They also never forgot to put his health and recovery first -- they worked hard until the very end, only getting compensated when Sam received his settlement. I'm very grateful for the Advocates' help with my friend's case and his health. read more

Was recommended here, but they have made several promises to support us and in 8 months have only initiated contact to us once, after promising a monthly check-in. We have had to drive everything for this. We are shopping for another attorney now. read more

Great service for all cases of dog bites, bicycle accidents and pedestrians versus car accidents.

I never got to actually use The Advocates because they gave me so much excellent free advice in my personal injury car wreck settlement case, before it came time to settle, I didn't need to. My insurance offered me full amount, and I could not have done/said any of the right things without Damian Kidd's help. He texted and emailed me back right away every time I contacted him. I was very impressed with his professionalism and knowledge, very happy I contacted them! read more

I have personally been very impressed with the character of people who work here. They are down to earth and really seem to care. I know not what you usually expect when dealing with a law firm. They have made a believer out of me and without a doubt, there is no one else I would trust when it comes to looking out for the interests of me and my family. read more

I was on public transportation and there was an accident. I wasn't going to get a lawyer because I thought the insurance company would do the right thing and pay the hospital and doctor bills but they did not . The advocates stepped in and took care of everything and even for me a small settlement. They are very up front with you and easy to talk to. I never had to wonder what was going on they were always a phone call away. Douglas Day was my lawyer and he did a great job read more

6 minutes ago-Edit I was in a pretty bad car accident that had me five months on short-term disability, months of physical therapy and spinal surgery. The accident was clearly not my fault and the other driver was cited for reckless driving. I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with The Advocates. Through all of this nightmare, the team at The Advocates were there to support me. They are a marvelous team that in my experience are on your side; providing support and kindness. Cameron took the initial intake and was absolutely delightful. He made me laugh when I was hurting so bad from my injuries I was near tears. Cameron also checked in with me regularly to see how I was doing. When it came time to receive my settlement he delivered my check personally to my house. Truly the man is a treasure of kindness and positive energy. Caroline was such a doll navigating and hounding my insurance to pay me what I was entitled to under my policy while I was unable to drive or care for myself. Caroline also assisted with the paper work to give to my short-term disability company. In addition, she was so sweet and kind, always having a kind word and bits of encouragement. Abby was so kind as she gathered all of the medical bills and worked with health care billing to keep the wolves at bay. She was always professional and personable as I asked for updates. Mr. Driggs contacted me several times to give me updates on my case and how they wanted to proceed with my case. I am positive that the settlement would not have been enough to cover my medical bills, had I not hired this firm to act as my advocate. Though my insurance has a good reputation, I found they were horribly obstructive when it came time to obtain my benefits. It took months to pay off my car, it took hounding from Caroline to get my household assistance money. If it weren't for Caroline's efforts, I am sure I wouldn't have received a dime from my insurance company for help with household duties. The team at The Advocates, really went to bat for me and worked hard to get me the maximum amount of money for me from my obstructive insurance company. In addition, their professionalism, knowledge, empathy and kindness were so appreciated during one of the most painful and stressful times in my life. Thank You Advocates you and your team are the Best! read more

Do your homework if you want the advocates to represent you. They will assign an attorney to your case and don't make the mistake I made with going with who they assigned to represent you! Do your do diligence in finding the right lawyer to handle your case with this firm. My lawyer was Good in the beginning but as my case went on it just got worse to the point he would say I just received this order or report but didn't read it fully. I would ask him to get with me once he fully read the order and he would only give me a short answer like "not in your favor " or the "medical panel report was marginal in your favor" I would read the whole report and find inconsistencies in the defense report , wrong medical information and even my last name was spelled wrong on my court order. Never heard a word about any of this from my attorney! Once your case is not looking in your favor they stop working for you! I called to complain and they sent me to another lawyer in there firm who was nice enough to take 10 minutes to explain my options to appeal my court order in my case. Within a couple hours my lawyer sends me an e-mail saying how much time he spent with other lawyers in there firm discussing my case but can't even give his client the information on what he spent so much time reviewing. This is what he did give me was that he was withdrawing himself from my case and no longer representing me because of no chance of winning in an appeal. Hopefully your case will be in your favor because I'm sure they will fully read your order and discuss with you how favorable your case is with you. read more

The Advocates are so awesome to work with and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs help after a car accident!

Super easy and professional. This was a whole new experience for me and going to the advocates was definitely the best choice I made in this. I never had to worry about a thing and got to focus on feeling better. read more

I used these guys based on their reviews and advertisements!!! It was a big mistake. They dropped the ball.

Was very unhappy with my settlement they didn't do much on my case but they sure made a pretty penny from us.

I was referred to The Advocates. Douglas Day was so nice and new his stuff. I was in a car accident that was not my fault but the insurance company on the other end thought I should be 25% reliable. I gave them all my information and they did the work for me. If I don't win I don't pay a cent. As a single mom this has been less stressful and easier to deal with because they are doing the hard part and dealing with the insurance company. read more

I really appreciated all the help I received from advocates. Thank you Meghan and Josh

I have had contact with this firm for a number of years.... Every interaction has been open, honest and transparent. Whether it was my case or someone I referred to them. Extremely helpful at every level From Matt Driggs, Dave Tullis to Cayson King... I really Felt like they honestly cared about me and my needs rather than just another "personal injury case". Every member of the staff is kind responsive and caring. I highly recommend! read more

The Advocates are hands down the best law firm I have ever worked with. I was in an auto accident and was not sure how to handle everything. Luckily I found Cayson, who helped me get the legal care and proper health care. I will 100% use them in the future if needed, and would never hesitate to refer family and friends. read more

I used these guys based on their reviews and advertisements!!! I didn't see any money until five years after my accident and then when I did go pick up my check I ended up getting less money than the attorney fees!!!!!! we did have to go to arbitration however I felt that the attorney didn't really know everything that was going on with the case, the other party had some of my medical documents but not all of them I had to show the attorney while we were in arbitration that yes I did in fact have appointments in between certain amount of time however when the rebuttal came he felt to mention the proof of having those !!! I feel like an after thought and not a valued customer when in fact they walked away with more than I did so they should have treated me with a lot more compassion and give a crap!!!!???? I even referred my mom to them and I didn't even get a thank you!!! I also feel the settlement was too low! read more

If you are looking for a Personal Injury Attorney/Law Firm look somewhere else. After 2years and 2 months I had to beg them to file the complaint. Once the complaint was filed I received an email advising they are dropping me and claimed litigation costs would be to high. Not sure how that is possible since the person who crashed into the back of my car and their insurance company accepted 100% responsibility. This left me scrambling to find a new attorney before the statue of limitations runs out... Every attorney I spoke with advised me they can not help as there is not enough time to prepare. read more

Called with a case where I was hit from behind. First thing I am asked is what is responsible parties insurance coverage. What? Isn't that the law firms job to track down? Then he asked what insurance company for responsible party. Told him Geico. He said we can't take case cause Geico always wants to litigate in court and that takes too much time . So what they want is to get 30% for a quick sttlement that injured party does all the work then they make a few calls write a few letters and get quick cash. Definitely not what their commercials portray! read more

Working with an attorney was a new experience for me. I chose The Advocates in part because I'd heard so much about them on the radio and in part because the chiropractor I'd been going to recommended them very highly.
