We went to get it done a second time and then they mixed the blood with the wrong fluid or something. We are now on to the 3rd visit for the same bloodwork and I'm still waiting for the results a week later. I have been trying to get this done for a month and it has not been a good experience. Nobody wants to make their child suffer by getting pricked multiple times for the same thing. Also due to the delay my son is still not in daycare and it's messing with my work schedule. However, her care is worth it to me. She's always thorough with any issues and makes sure to order all and any bloodwork or tests needed to assure us that things are ok. That matters to me. I made an appointment here two hours ahead of time and I was seen five minutes before my appointment time. I spent about a half hour in the waiting room after checking in, but I was early, so it wasn't a big deal. My nurses and practitioners were all kind and understanding. They kept testing until we found the root of my issues and made sure I understood the severity of my condition. They also kept me in care until my fever went down. I'd recommend this place to anyone in need of urgent care. It's not glamorous, but I was given the care that I needed.

Dr. Berard is an excellent physician - for all of the reasons others have mentioned below. I am in…read moremy mid-fortes and have been a patient for 20 years. It is an hour drive for me to see him, but I think it's worth it. I have had many difficult issues to diagnose issues over the years - and he is patient, knowledgeable, and answers my questions without rushing me. As others have noted, this sometimes does cause wait times, but once he is with you, he is focused on you (I build the wait time into my schedule whenever I go in). His medical assistants and lab staff are also really quality professionals. Since being acquired by Adventist Group, it is true that the front desk staff quality has diminished. I am not sure why -- several have been there for years. But it is true that when you call, the wait time can be extensive and the staff seem annoyed to have to answer the phone and generally frustrated by work-related tasks. While sitting in the waiting room, I have observed the front desk staff place patients on hold for up to five minutes, so that they could finish personal conversations about non-work related issues (e.g., dating, celebrity gossip, etc.). I would suggest a review of the front desk staff - I think better quality staff could be found.

When I entered - I was greeted half heartedly and when I couldn't remember who I was seeing (new patient) - no one was willing to help me. There were 4 people at the front desk. 2. I have now called the office 6-7 times over a 2 1/2 week period to get my blood results. No one has picked up or responded to my (very clear) voicemails. I was told it would be a week to get - I have now waited a month - and even checked my spam, etc. 3. The office, in general, was not great - which when you have a good doctor - doesn't matter to me. However, with everything else - it now just adds another layer of disappointment.
